How to connect a computer to the local network (for the ICT students

Jak se připojit k místní síti
(pro studenty VŠCHT a všechny školy v programu
eduroam – VŠE,UK,ČZU,ČVUT atd.)
Pokud nejste studentem výše uvedených škol, kontaktujete správce počítačové sítě, sídlem u vchodu do koleje Sázava.
Windows Vista / Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
1.
Stiskněte klávesovou zkratku Win+R, otevře se okno “Spustit”

Do pole napište services.msc a stiskněte Enter
V seznamu vyberte položku:
 Vista: Automatická konfigurace pevné sítě
 W7,8,8.1,10: Wired AutoConfig Service
Klikněte na ní pravým tlačítkem a zvolte Vlastnosti
Nastavte typ spouštění na Automaticky
Pokud není služba spuštěna, spusťte ji pomocí tlačítka Spustit
Ukončete konfiguraci tlačítkem OK
Stiskněte klávesovou zkratku Win+R, otevře se okno “Spustit”
Do pole napište ncpa.cpl a stiskněte Enter
Na adaptér ethernetového připojení klikněte pravým tlačítkem a zvolte Vlastnosti
V kartě “Ověřování” zaškrtněte Povolit ověřování podle standardu IEEE 802.1x
Jako metodu ověřování zvolte Protocol PEAP
 W7,8,8.1,10: pokud můžete, zaškrtněte:
Zapamatovat pověření pro toto připojení pro každé přihlášení
Sekundárně použít neautorizovaný přístup k síti
Pokud můžete, zrušte zaškrtnutí Ověřit jako počítač v případě že informace jsou k dispozici
 W7,8,8.1,10: Klikněte na tlačítko Další nastavení…
Na kartě zaškrtněte Zadat režim ověřování
Vyberte Ověření uživatele
Zaškrtněte Povolit pro tuto síť jednotné přihlašování
Zaškrtněte Umožnit zobrazení dalších dialogových oken při jednotném přihlašování
Zaškrtněte Tato síť používá samostatné virtuální sítě LAN pro ověření počítačů a uživatelů
Klikněte na OK
Klikněte na tlačítko Nastavení/Vlastnosti u volby protokolu
Zrušte zaškrtnutí políčka Ověřit certifikát serveru
Vyberte metodu ověřování Zabezpečené heslo
Klikněte na tlačítko Konfigurovat
Zrušte zaškrtnutí políčka Automaticky použít přihlašovací jméno, heslo a případně doménu Windows
Vytvořené nastavení uložte pomocí tlačítek OK, OK, OK
Poté, co na vás vyskočí bublina s žádostí o certifikát na ni klikněte, objeví se dialog pro přihlášení
Vyplňte svoje přihlašovací údaje do VŠCHT nebo do eduroam
Nyní by jste měl být připojen

Nastavení internetového prohlížeče
1. Stiskněte klávesovou zkratku Win+R, otevře se okno “Spustit”
2. Do pole napište inetcpl.cpl a stiskněte Enter
3. V kartě Připojení klikněte na Nastavení místní sítě a nastavit dle obrázku. Klikněte na Upřesnit a nastavit dle obrázku.

If you are not a student of the above schools, contact the computer network administrator (office on the right at entrance into
the dormitory Sázava).

Press the keyboard shortcut Win+R to open the window "Run"

Type services.msc into the field/window and press Enter
In the list choose an option:
 Vista: Wired AutoConfig Service
 W7,8,8.1,10: Wired AutoConfig Service
Click it with a right mouse button and select Properties
Set the launch type to Automatically
If the service is not running, launch it with the Start button
Finish the configuration process by pressing the OK button
Press the keyboard shortcut Win+R to open the window "Run”
Type ncpa.cpl into the field/window and press Enter
The adapter to the Ethernet connection, right-click and select Properties
On the “Verification” card tick Allow verification according to the standard IEEE 802.1x
Choose Protocol PEAP as a verification method
 W7,8,8.1,10: if possible, tick:
Remember verification for this connection for every login
Use unauthorised access to the network as secondary
If possible, untick Verify as computer if information is available
 W7,8,8.1,10: Click the button Other settings.....
On the card tick the option Set verification mode
Choose User verification
Tick Allow individual login for this network
Tick Enable displaying of other dialogue windows during individual login
Tick an option This network uses individual virtual LAN networks to verify computers and users
Click OK
Click the Settings/Properties button in the selection of a protocol
Untick the field Verify server certificate
Choose a verification method Protected password
Click the Configure button
Untick the field Automatic use of login name, password and possibly Windows domain
Save created settings by pressing OK buttons
Then, when a notice asking for certificate pops up, click it and a dialogue for login appears
Fill in data for your login to UCT or eduroam
Now you should be connected

Setting your internet browser
1. Press the keyboard shortcut Win+R to open the window "Run"
2. Type inetcpl.cpl into the field/window and press Enter
3. On the Connections card click LAN settings and adjust as shown. Click Advanced and adjust as shown.
