6 th International Competition of Young Fashion Designers
FASHION GAMES
ON THE TOPIC:
„NEW ORDER“
Conditions of participation in the competition:
-
the participant is a student of Secondary School, College or University in the Czech
Republic or abroad
the participant is older than 17 and younger than 26 years
the collection for the competition will contain max. 10 outfits which haven’t been
awarded
Time schedule:
1. Creative part:
The collection designed on the given topic must be sent on the signed CD together with
the filled in registration form (see the supplement) to the address of the promoter
(VOŠON a SPŠO, Jablonského 3, 170 00, Praha 7) until 31. 1. 2011.

The CD must include the presentation of:
a/ author’s idea and description of the collection / project
b/ sources of inspiration
c/ design part of the collection
d/ short written review on the material used for the outfits
e/ conception of a public presentation
Expert commission will select the finalists
By 28. 2. 2011 the participants will get the commission’s resolution and further
instructions for the execution of their collection on their personal e-mail and the school
address.
2. Final part
The selected participants will be offered one-day workshop in Prague where they will hear
an inspiring lecture on fashion trends, they will publicly defend their presented collection
and they will be informed about the requirements on the manufacturing of the outfits and
the documentation:
-
manufacturing and presentation of the outfits, usage of the sources of inspiration –
quality of manufacturing – public presentation
oral defense and accompanying presentation, author’s CV, manufacturing of the
photo-documentation
promotional materials etc.
Final show will take place in Prague on July 2011 with the participation of public
and specialists, media and representatives of the participating states.
Prizes:
The first place:
5 day trip to autumn/spring international fair in Paris or Milan
The second place:
2 day stay in Prague connected with the visit of Prague Fashion
Week 2011
The third place:
textile material for the creation of the original collection for the
Fashion Games 2011
