• je dle definice zvláštní typ dokumentu,
který obsahuje specifické informace
• vyžaduje logiku, jasnou prezentaci
a přesnost

Organizace vědeckého sdělení
• kulturní rozdíly ve vyjadřování (anglosaská
úspornost vs. slovanská, a hispánská
“vícemluvnost”, germánská složitost textu)
• odpovědnost autora; nedbalé psaní
znehodnotí i ty nejzajímavější výsledky
• vědecké psaní: jednoznačné věty bez
zbytečných slov
• efektivní postup psaní znamená odpovědět
na 4 otázky v tomto pořadí:
– jaký problém studuji? - úvod
– jak ho budu studovat? - materiál a metody
– co jsem zjistil?
- výsledky
– co to znamená?
- diskuse

amount of coins je nesprávně (number of coins)

in the sentence - look at the differences
in meaning that results.

• like - často se užívá místo as. Like I just
said, this sentence should have started with

kdybychom přidávali po 1 gramu, bylo by
správně říct 20 g were added (one by one)
• data was analyzed (singulár = datum) - data
were analyzed
• Examination of patients was carried out.
I examined the patients.
• ...separation of the compound was
accomplished …. the compounds were
separated…
• tissue culture response; infected tissue
culture response …(infikovaná odpověď??)

• výraz je správně použit, jedná-li se o těhotenství
v trvání 9 měsíců (= 3 trimestrů) anebo březosti
stejné délky u krav
• nesmysl je použití tohoto elegantního latinského
výrazu, jedná-li se o březost u prasnic (112 dnů)
nebo ovcí (asi 155 dnů); stačí říct třetina březosti
• přesto se tento nesmysl úspěšně vyhýbá pozornosti
autorů, oponentů a editorů věhlasných časopisů...
