10 tips to drive costs of the company fleet efficiently:
1.
Set the duration of usage to the planned mileage (e.g.180 000 km in total)
2.
Unify the fleet to the chosen brand (strengthen your buying position)
3.
Do not concentrate only to diesel engines (It is not cheaper for small mileage)
4.
Set the mandatory and not allowed equipment (chasis, colour, safety equipment, CO2 emission,
etc.)
5.
Choose or set up models based on TCO (total costs of ownership), do not use the investment as a
limit
6.
Always count with the fuel consumption (expecting overconsumption)
7.
Manage the service to the chosen garages
8.
Bigger tyres will generate bigger costs
9.
Set the employee responsibility in your car policy (damages, business/private usage)
10. Motivate employees (report, evaluate, communicate)
