DAVID MARSHALL (USA) – teacher Why did an American move to Vysočina? “I moved to Nové Město na Moravě because my wife is originally from Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. I have lived in Vysočina for more than 12 years and I teach at two grammar schools. My new hometown is Nové Město, a city of 10,000 people. This town is located in the Žďárské Vrchy. In the US, we say I live “in the sticks” or “in the boondocks”. This means places which are far from big towns. And that´s why I love it here.
