GENERAL
The ZSI test stand is used for holding or controlling a tested LV device during the short-circuit or
tempearture rise tests.
STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS
The ZSI test stand meets the requirements of ČSN EN 60647-1, ed.3:2005; ČSN EN 61439-1:2010
and ČSN EN 62271-1:2009, as well as other related standards.
OPERATING CONDITIONS
The ZSI test stands are intended for to be used in indoor operating environment, under normal
operating conditions as defined by the ČSN EN 62271-1:2009 standard, i.e.:

up to 1000 m
The average relative humidity measured during a period of 24 hours should not exceed 95%.
Vibration caused by external impact or earthquake are irrelevant and can be neglected. Special
operation conditions may be agreed between the manufacturer and the client, however, these need to
be agreed upon with the manufacturer in advance.
TEST STAND SPECIFICATION
The ZSI test stands consist of the following main parts: test stand frame made from Al profiles, chassis
(with wheels or screwed-on feet), basic distribution board, connecting bars, insulation barriers, and
control mechanism to control the tested LV devices.
The dimensioning of the incoming busbars and holders corresponds with the customer requirements.
The base plate is made from glass-fibre reinforced synthetic resin bonded fabric. The base plate is
provided with another auxiliary and replaceable plate used to hold the tested specimen, which can be
perforated in case of need.
