Z pohledu rychlosti přenosu dat:
-pokračující trend na podporu 10 Gb/s v celé LAN (horizontální) a podpora
40/100Gb/s v páteřích (backbone)
Z pohledu typů budov/míst aplikace LAN
- Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) Healthcare Facility
Standard TIA‐1179,
2 nové připravované aplikace pro LAN:
-A) Very Large Public Buildings (airports, arenas, convention centers,
others)
- B) Education Facilities (K‐12 schools,libraries, others).

Study group IEEE – 9/2012 (market, feasibility atd..)
Výhody nové generace BASE-T (ve srovnání s twinax kabely –
direct attached)
•Delší dosah – délka linky/kanálu při srovnatelném průměru
kabelu
• Možnost topologie „End-of-row“
• Menší form-factor interface (RJ45 ? Vesr SFP+/QSFP+)
Direct attached kabely)
SM
Cíle IEEE pro Next generation BASE-T
- fokus na datová centra
- stíněná kabeláž
- šířka pásma ??
- dosah vers. příkon (transcieverů)
- diskuse nad „short“ a „long“ variantou – dle dosahu
- s ohledem na délku kanálu - Cat7A opět v diskusi ??
- standard definován – konec 2014 ?
SM
SM
-„Category 8“ byla vybrána
- specifikace do 2GHz
- parametry kanálu jsou TBD
- na základě Alien NEXT parametr –stíněná kabeláž
- konektor RJ45 – snaha o zachování jako interface
- pracovní draft 0.5 již koluje v komisi (konec 2013 ?)
SM
Cíl : Technická zpráva definující přenosové parametry kanálu pro
40Gb/s
-Posuzují se stávající a „vylepšené“ třídy Class EA (F/UTP) a Class
FA (S/FTP)
- vyhodnocují se frekvenční pásma 1.0 GHz, 1.6 GHz a 2.0 GHz
SM
SM
Category 8 – ve stávající diskusi = problém se zpětnou
kompatibilitou „elektrických“ parametrů kanálu (NEXT Cat8
nevyhoví pro nižší kategorii) ?
Je Cat7A/Class FA „future úroof cabling – ?
– zpětná kompatibilita konektorů Tera, GG45, ARJ45 s RJ45 ?
SM
Kabel Cat7 (7A) a konektivity Cat6A (Class EA) ...tj. max 500MHz

SM
IEEE Ethernet 802.3 working group
-Vývoj 100Gb infrastruktury 2. generace pokrývající ostatní média (fiber)
mimo copper kabely
100G over Multimode Fiber (MMF)
Od 2010, multimode fiber podporuje 40G a 100G Ethernet – agregace 4 resp
10 x 10G kanálů (paralelní optika)
Nový progres - next generation 100G‐over‐MMF project bude používat 4 x
SM
SM
Pravděpodobný vývoj 100G po MM vláknech:
Stejná infrastruktura pro OM4 MM vlákna pro 4 X 25G nové generace MM
vláken jako pro 40G
Vývoj standardu je pod „Ethernet Study Group for Next Generation (40G &
100G) Optical Fiber Ethernet „
Pravděpodobná podpora dvou vzdáleností pro 100G‐over‐MMF varianty:
(podobné jako pro 40G‐over‐MMF- Dosah s vlákny OM3 a pro vlákna OM4.
MMF varianta může obsahovat rovněž velmi-krátkou variantu s použitím
Active Optical Cable (AOC) linek.
SM
Nové specifikace vláken MM OM4
Bend Insensitive fibers
- Přídavná vrstva na vlákně s odlišným (nižším) indexem lomu
- „trench“
- odraz světla zpět do vláka při ohybu
- probíhá standardizace průměru vlákna, a dalšíhc parametrů
vláken, které byly specifikovány předtím
- Nutno zajistit možnost istalace /svarů, spojování různých typů
„bend insensitive „ vláken i se standardnícmi vlákeny
SM
-Nový „long reach“ 40G SMF pro Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)

The PANDUIT Keyed LC System provides a superior level of security because its system of
both keys and keyways prevents un-alike keyed PANDUIT connectors, as well as other
manufacturers’ connectors, from being inserted into a PANDUIT Keyed LC Adapter port.
