Vážení sportovní přátelé, běžci a chodci.
Město Úpice bude hostit Mistrovství Evropy veteránů v silničním běhu,
chůzi a krosu již potřetí.
Poprvé, bylo atletické rodině dovoleno navštívit
Českou republiku v roce 1993.
O deset let později byli evropští sportovní mistři
do Úpice, do tohoto regionu s bohatou tradicí pozváni podruhé.
Nyní – 2013 – opět deset let uplynulo, a my opět
můžeme být svědky toho, jak město, region, země
a její lidé reprezentují evropskou vetránskou atletiku
s jejich pohostinností.
Pod vedením týmu místního běžeckého klubu „TJ
Maratonstav“, najdou běžci a chodci dobře připravené závodní tratě i veškeré zázemí. Z doprovodných
kulturních akcí si jistě odvezeme příjemné vzpomínky na celou tuto sportovní událost.
Těšíme se na vzrušující závody. Pojďme také navázat nová přátelství a podělit se o náš sport s ostatními.
Přeji organizátorům potěšení a dobrý pocit během
času příprav a všem mnoho úspěchů v soutěžích.

Dear sport friends, runners and walkers.
The city Úpice will host the European Non Stadia
competitions for the third time.
The year 1993 was the first time, when the athletic family was allowed to visit the Czech Republic.
Ten years later the European Masters athletes
where called the second time to Úpice, a region very
rich in tradition.
Now – 2013 – once again ten years have passed,
and once more we are allowed to witness how the
city, the region, the country and the people present
the European Master Athletic with their hospitality.
Under the guidance of the team of the local running club “TJ Maratonstav”, the runners and walkers will find well-prepared competition tracks. And
accompanying the competition we have the chance
to take away with us the impressions of all the traditions and culture of this region.
We look forward to exciting competitions. Let us
exchange friendships among us and let us share our
sport with others.
I wish the organizers pleasure and gratification
during the preparation time and lots of success at
the competitions.

Liebe Sportfreunde, Läufer und Geher,
zum dritten Mal ist die Stadt Úpice Gastgeber der
Europäischen Non-Stadia Wettkämpfe.
Zum ersten Mal durfte die Leichtathletik Familie
1993 Gast in der Tschechischen Republik sein.
Zehn Jahre später rief Úpice zum zweiten Mal die
Europäischen Master Leichtathleten in die traditionsreiche Region.
Und nun – 2013 - sind ein weiteres Mal zehn Jahre
vergangen und wieder einmal dürfen wir miterleben, wie die Stadt, die Region und das Land und die
Menschen, die Europäische Master Athletik mit ihrer
Gastfreundschaft beschenkt.
Unter der Leitung des Teams des örtlichen Laufvereins TJ Maratonstav werden wir Läufer und Geher
gut vorbereitete Wettkampfstrecken vorfinden. Und
als Begleiter werden wir einen Eindruck der Tradition
und der Kultur der Region mitnehmen.
Freuen wir uns auf spannende Wettbewerbe.
Lassen Sie uns Freundschaften untereinander austauschen und unseren Sport mit anderen teilen.

Dear friends in sport,
this European Veterans Athletics Championships
Non-Stadia 2013 will be hosted by the Jestřebí
Mountains region again. I am very pleased that
thanks to this important event in the Czech Republic, many athletic enthusiasts from all over Europe,
for whom is sport passion and lifestyle, will visit our
country.
I admire also the enthusiasm of the organizers,
who got busy, already the third time, with preparation of these Championships with great drive. Their
experience in recent years along with the enthusiasm and creativity will certainly bring to our participants pleasant and peaceful atmosphere to be
able to enjoy their great race. I would like to visit also
all the athletic fans at this important event. It is all
about not only sports, but also a social event that region domestic visitors should not miss. The success of
the European Championships proves that our sport is
interesting, effective and fun for all across generations. Athletic is really sport for all life, let us enjoy its
beauty together.

Geehrte Sportfreunde,
Die Senioren-Europameisterschaft im Straßenlauf, Gehen und Crosslauf wird wieder das Gebiet
Jestřebí-Gebirge, bewirten. Es freut mich sehr, dass
dank diesem bedeutenden Ereignis, viele athletische
Fans ganzen Europa, für die unser Sport eine Leidenschaft und Lebensstil ist, die Tschechische Republik
besuchen.
Ich bewundere die Organisatoren, die sich schon
zum dritten Mal mit großer Begeisterung die EM-Vorbereitung angenommen haben. Ihre Erfahrungen von vorigen Jahren, zusammen mit der Begeisterung und Kreativität, bringen den Teilnehmern
bestimmt angenehme und ruhe Atmosphäre und so
werden alle ihren großen Wettkampf genießen können. Ich möchte gern zu dieser bedeutenden Veranstaltung alle athletische Fans einladen. Es handelt
sich nicht nur um Sportveranstaltungen aber auch
gesellschaftliches Ereignis, das sich die Besucher,
aber auch die Einheimischen, nicht engehen lassen
sollen.
Der Erfolg dieser Europameisterschaft begründet,
dass unser Sport interessant, effektiv und unterhaltsam für alle Generationen, ist. Die Athletik ist
wirklich ein Sport für ganzes Leben, genießen wir
gemeinsam ihre Schönheit.

Mistrovství Evropy
veteránů v silničních bězích, chůzi a krosu bude opět hostit region Jestřebích
hor. Jsem velice rád, že díky této významné události
do České republiky zavítá mnoho atletických nadšenců z celé Evropy, pro které je náš sport vášní a životním stylem.
Obdivuji nadšení organizátorů, kteří se, a to již
potřetí, přípravy šampionátů ujali s velkou vervou.
Jejich zkušenosti z minulých let spolu s nadšením
a kreativitou přinesou účastníkům jistě příjemnou
a klidnou atmosféru a budou si moci užít svůj velký
závod. Rád bych na tuto významnou akci pozval také
atletické fanoušky. Půjde totiž nejen o sportovní, ale
i společenskou událost, kterou by si návštěvníci regionu i domácí neměli nechat ujít. Úspěšnost tohoto
evropského šampionátu dokazuje, že náš sport je
zajímavý, efektivní a zábavný pro všechny napříč generacemi. Atletika je opravdu sportem na celý život,
užívejme si společně jeho krásu.

Vážení sportovci
a příznivci nejen
běhu do vrchu,
soutěživost je jednou
z nejdůležitějších a nejpřirozenějších vlastností
člověka. Pohání ho kupředu při všech jeho činnostech a provází jeho existenci od samého počátku jeho bytí. Platí to v běžném
a pracovním životě a velkou měrou samozřejmě
ve sportu. Obrovskou předností sportu je však vytváření ideálů a příkladů pro druhé. Všichni ti, kteří soupeří v rámci pravidel fair-play, se stávají pro ostatní
vzorem a motivací – pro mladé ale i pro ty starší,
kteří sportují především kvůli zábavě a relaxaci.
Královéhradecký kraj pod mým vedením sport
podporuje, protože si dobře uvědomuji, jak je důležitý k rozvoji osobnosti každého člověka a jak významným způsobem reprezentuje náš region v Česku
i v zahraničí. Kraj proto každým rokem rozdělí miliony korun na pořádání sportovních akcí pro mládež,
pro postižené, ale dává peníze i na podporu masové
tělovýchovy „pro všechny“ a krajské reprezentační
výběry. Krajské dotace a příspěvky pomáhají jak široce oblíbeným sportům, jako je fotbal či hokej nebo
lyžování, tak i těm, které podobně širokou základnu
nemají.
Odměnou za to jsou na vrcholové úrovni úspěchy
královéhradeckých sportovců na domácí i mezinárodní scéně. Stejně významný přínos ale má i popularizace sportu u všech obyvatel našeho regionu, kteří
mají mnoho možností k tomu, aby se v kraji zapojili
do sportovních klubů, tělovýchovných jednot či organizací a nebo prostě jen po příchodu ze zaměstnání
trávili aktivně svůj volný čas.

Geehrte Sportler,
nicht nur Berglaufsgünstlinge,
Competitiveness is one of the most important and
most natural characteristics, which drives us forward
and is a part of us since the beginning of existence.
Competitiveness is largely occurred of course in
sports, but in everyday life and work as well. A great
advantage of the sport is to create ideals and good
examples for others. All those who contest under
the rules of fair-play, become a model for others and
motivation for young people but also older, who play
sports mainly for fun and relaxation.
Hradec Kralove Region supports sport, because it
is important for the development of the personality
and significantly represents our region in the Czech
Republic and abroad. Hradec Kralove Region divides every year millions of Czech crowns into sports
events for young people, disabled and also physical
education. Regional grants and subsidies help popular sports such as football, hockey or skiing, but also
less familiar type of sports.
Achievements of athletes from Hradec Králové
Region at the national and international scene are
for us a great reward. The significant benefit has popularization of sport for all inhabitants of our region
who can engage in sports clubs, sports associations
or organizations and actively spend their leisure
time.
Wettbewerb ist eine der wichtigsten und natürlichen
Eigenschaft des Menschen.Treibt ihn vorwäts in all
seinen Aktivitäten und begleitet sein Bestehen vom
Anfang seiner Existenz an.D ies gilt im Alltag und
Arbeit und in einem großen Maß, selbstverständlich
auch im Sport. Ein großer Vorteil des Sports sind,Ideale und gute Beispiele für andere zu schaffen. Alle
diejenigen,die nach den Regeln des Fair-Play wetteifern, sind für andere ein Vorbild und Motivation-für
junge aber auch ältere Leute, die Sport vor allem für
Spaß und Entspannung treiben.
Region Hradec Králové unterstützt unter meiner
Führung Sport, weil wir verständigen, wie es wichtig
für die Entwicklung der menschlichen Persönlichkeit ist,und wie unser Region in der Tschechischen
Republik und im Ausland, auf diese Art und Weise,
represäntiert wird.Der Region verteilt deshalb jedes
Jahr Millionen für Sportveranstaltungen für junge
Menschen, für Behinderten,aber gibt auch finanzielle Unterstützung für Masse Sports „für alle“ und
regionale Teams. Die regionale Dotationen und Beiträge helfen den breiten beliebten Sportarten, wie
Fußball oder Hockey, Skifahren aber auch denen, die
keine ähnlich breite Basis haben.
Die Belohnung dafür sind Spitzenleistungen der
Regionsportler auf nationaler und internationaler
Szene.Ähnlich deutliche Vorteile hat aber auch die
Sportspopularisierung unter allen Bewohnern unserer Region,die viele Möglichkeiten im Region, in
Sportvereinen, Sportverbänden oder Organisationen, sich beteiligt können, oder einfach nach der
Arbeit ihre Freizeit aktiv verbringen.

Jsem velice ráda, že mohu
podpořit tak výjimečné
sportovní akce „Mistrovství Evropy veteránů
v silničních bězích, chůzi
a krosu“ a „Mistrovství
světa v běhu do vrchu
veteránů“. Velice se mi
líbí myšlenka, že pro řadu lidí se tyto běžecké závody
staly životním stylem. V dnešní uspěchané době je
s povděkem, že se lidé umějí sportem nejenom bavit
ale také v něm podávat výborné výkony. Tyto běhy
jsou specifické tím, že se jich může zúčastnit široká škála lidí. Patří k těm, které pořád jsou sportem
v tom nejčistším slova smyslu. Přeji všem zúčastněným mnoho nejen sportovních úspěchů a děkuji
pořadatelům za skvělé akce s běhy.

I am very glad to support such an exceptional sporting event European Veterans Athletics Championships Non –Stadia and World Masters Mountain
Running Championships. I really like the idea that
for many people, these cross-country races have become a way of life. In this time it is with satisfaction
that people can sport not only for to entertain but
also for giving excellent performances. These events
are specific in that they can attend a wide variety
of people. It belongs to those who are still sport in
its purest sense. I wish everyone many sporting
achievements and thank the organizers for a great
running events.

Ich unterstütze gerne eine derart außergewöhnliche
Sportveranstaltung wie die „Europameisterschaft
der Senioren im Straßenlauf, Gehen und Crosslauf“
und die „Weltmeisterschaft der Senioren im Berglauf“.
Mir gefällt sehr die Tatsache, dass für viele Menschen diese Wettläufe zu einer Art Lebensstil wurden.
In der heutigen unruhigen und hastigen Zeit ist
es beispielhaft, dass die Menschen im Sport nicht
nur Unterhaltung finden, sondern auch zur Leistung
stehen.
Diese Wettläufe sind dadurch spezifisch, dass ein
breites Spektrum von Menschen daran teilnehmen
kann. Diese Aktivität gehört zu jenen, die immer
noch Sport im wahren Sinne des Wortes sind.
Ich wünsche allen Teilnehmenden viele Erfolge
nicht nur sportlicher Art und danke den Veranstalten
für hervorragende Organisation des Wettläufes.

Geehrte Sportler, geehrte Gäste,
počátky atletického hnutí
v Úpici zasahují někdy
do roku 1924. Kořením
atletiky byly vždy vytrvalecké běžecké závody. První tradiční závod v Úpici se
běhal na trati Úpice – Havlovice – Libňatov a zpět,
měřil cca 10km. Tento závod byl v roce 1930 nahrazen závodem „Běh Velbabou“, který byl pořádán až
do války. V roce 1950 vznikl „Ratibořický maraton“,
který se stal nejpopulárnějším maratonem v Čechách. Kvůli špatnému povrchu byl v roce 1980 nahrazen okruhovým „Havlovickým maratonem“.
Po otevření hranic v roce 1990 jsme začali pořádat mezinárodní závody, Úpice se stala centrem
běhů do vrchu. Pořádali jsme zde již MS, MSvet. a ME
v běhu do vrchu. Nyní Vás již potřetí zveme na Mistrovství Evropy v silničních bězích, chůzi a krosu. Zjistili jsme, že se někteří z vás vracíte již potřetí.
Slibujeme, že Vám vytvoříme jak sportovní, tak
kulturní atmosféru dnů v Úpici. Věříme, že se k nám
vždy budete rádi vracet, třeba již v srpnu na Mistrovství světa veteránů v běhu do vrchu v Janských
Lázních.

The beginnings of athletic movement in Úpice interfere until year 1924. Spice of an athletics have always
been long-distance cross country races. The first race
was in the traditional Úpice Run on the track Úpice
- Havlovice - Libňatov and back, measuring about
10km. This race was in 1930 replaced by „Velbaba
Run“, which was organized before the World War
II.. In 1950 origins the „Ratibořice Marathon,“ which
became the most popular marathon in the country.
Due to poor terrain was replaced by circuit “Havlovice Marathon” in 1980 .
After the opening of the borders in 1990, we began to organize international competitions. Úpice
became the center of the mountain running. We
already held here the World Mountain Running
Championships and World and European Masters
Mountain Running Championships. Now we invite you for the third time at the European Veterans
Championships Non-Stadia. We found that some of
you are returning for the third time.
We promise that we will create sports and cultural
atmosphere for you in Úpice.
We believe that you will always be happy to return, perhaps in August 2013 to the World Masters
Mountain Running Championships in Janské Lázně .

Der Anfang der athletischen Bewegung in Úpice,
führt schon irgendwann ins Jahr 1924. Als Grundlage der Athletik waren Langstrecken- Wettläufe.
Der erste traditionelle Wettkampf in Úpice lief auf
der Strecke Úpice-Havlovice-Libňatov und zurück.
Dieser Wettkampf wurde im Jahre 1930 als “Lauf
durch Velbaba” ersetzt. Dieser Wettkampf wurde
bis zu dem Anfang des Krieges organisiert.Im Jahre
1950 entstand ”Marathon durch Ratibořice”, was
der populärste Wettkampf in Böhmen war. Wegen
der schlechten Oberfläche wurde es im Jahre 1980
mit einem Umkreis als ”Marathon durch Havlovice”
ersetzt.
Nach der Wende im Jahre 1990, wo die Grenzen
geöffnet wurden, organisierten wir internationale
Wettkämpfe. Úpice wurde ein Berglaufszentrum.
Wir organisierten schon die Weltmeisterschaft,
Weltmeisterschaft und Europameisterschaft im
Berglauf. Jetzt laden wir Sie schon zu dritt zur EM
im Straßenlauf, Gehen und Crosslauf ein. Wir stellten
auch schon fest, dass einige von Ihnen schon zu dritt
zu uns kommen.
Wir versprechen Ihnen, sowie eine sportliche,
auch kulturelle Atmosphäre für alle Tage in Úpice. Wir glauben auch, dass Sie zu uns immer gern
zurückkommen, vielleicht schon im August zur Veteranen Weltmeisterschaft im Berglauf in Janské
Lázně.

Celý seriál závodů doplňuje kulturní program ve
všech místech regionu. V Radvanicích je doplněn
závod o dětský den s kulturním programem. V Malých Svatoňovicích bude v sobotu po vyhlášení výsledků přivítání
vedoucích výprav starostkou v muzeu. Po celý den bude
probíhat kulturní program „Čapkiána 2013“ a bude možno
navštívit muzeum bratří Čapků.
V Úpici na náměstí bude připraven pro všechny návštěvníky bohatý kulturní program od čtvrtka do neděle.

program in all areas of the region. In Radvanice
is supplemented by Children‘s day with competition and
cultural program. There will be official reception for team
leaders in Bří Čapek´s Museum Malé Svatoňovice on Saturday at 3.00p.m.by the Mayor of Malé Svatoňovice. Throughout the day cultural program „Čapkiána 2013 ‚ will be
going on with possibility to visit Bří Čapek´s Museum in
Malé Svatoňovice.

Alle Wettkämpfe werden mit einem Kulturprogramm in allen Orten der Region ergänzen. In
Radvanice wird der Wettkampf mit dem Kindertag mit
einem Kulturprogramm verbunden. In Malé Svatoňovice
werden alle Gruppenleiter, nach der Bekanntmachung
des Ergebnisses, im Stadtmuseum von der Bürgermeisterin begrüßt. Tagsüber verläuft ein Kulturprogramm “Čapkiána 2013“ und man kann das Brüders Čapek Museum
besuchen. Am Marktplatz in Úpice wird für alle Besucher
ein reiches Kulturprogramm ab Donnerstag bis Sonntag
vorbereitet.

v údolí řeky Úpy v Krkonošském pohdhůří.
Vzniklo v údolí lemovaném lesy a výšinami, střeží ho z kopce Velbaba (481 m n. m.) a Kvíčala
(469 m n. m.). Náleží k němu kdysi samostatná obec Radeč. Úpice vznikla jako strážní osada na odbočce zemské
stezky do Slezska u brodu přes řeku Úpu. Začátkem 14.
století patřila jako správní městečko k vízmburskému
panství pánů z Dubé, kteří Úpici udělili čestná práva včetně práva hrdelního, tržního a vaření piva. Roku 1604 byla
v Úpici postavena první škola. Roku 1625 bylo městečko
postiženo velkým požárem, při němž shořel kostel a domy
na náměstí. Úpici se nevyhnula ani válečná tažení za třicetileté války a války prusko – rakouské. V druhé polovině
19. století zaznamenala Úpice rychlý rozvoj především
textilního průmyslu a stala se jedním z nejprůmyslovějších měst českého severovýchodu.
V současné době má Úpice necelých 6000 obyvatel.
Dlouhodobou tradici zde má ochotnické divadlo, hudba
a sport. Velký význam má zdejší hvězdárna, která nabízí
široké veřejnosti jak pozorování noční oblohy, tak denní
pozorování Slunce s odborným výkladem.
Městem vedou tři značené cyklotrasy a sportovní vyžití
nabízí areál Sparta s nově vybudovaným skateparkem.
S historií města se návštěvníci mohou seznámit na značené Historické naučné stezce. Informační servis zajišťuje
Turistické informační centrum.

vážení návštěvníci města Úpice
jsem velice rád, že mohu přivítat všechny hosty tak významné události, jakou je Mistrovství Evropy veteránů
v silničním běhu a chůzi. Od roku 1993 je to po šesté, kdy
se koná tak významná sportovní událost v našem městě
a v regionu Jestřebích hor.
V roce 1999 se dohodli starostové 12 obcí o společném
postupu při řešení významných společenských i sportovních událostí. Pro naše město i celý region je velkou ctí, že
Vás můžeme přivítat a být Vašimi hostiteli po celý víkend
běhů v regionu Jestřebí hory.
Věřím, že se Vám bude u nás líbit a přeji Vám mnoho
hodnotných sportovních i kulturních zážitků. Tuto význačnou sportovní akci chápeme i jako společenskou událost,
která přispěje ke vzniku nových přátelství mezi národy
Evropy.

The Town of Úpice
a center of the Jestřebí Mountains – is spread in
the valley of the Úpa River near the Krkonoše Mountains.
It was established in the valley bordered with woods and
hills; it is guarded by Velbaba Hill (481 meters /1578 ft)
and Kvíčala Hill (469 m /1538 ft). Radeč Village which was
individual in the past belongs to Úpice. Úpice originated
as a guard settlement at the turning of the country trail
to Silesia at a ford of the Úpa River. At the beginning of
the 14th century Úpice was a part of Vizmburk manor belonging to the Lords of Dubé. These owners granted some
municipal rights (i.e. right of execution, fair holding and
beer brewing etc.) to Úpice. In 1604 the first school was
built here. In 1625 was the town damaged by a big fire in
which the church and all the houses in and near the square
burnt down. Úpice was not spared of the war-times if the
30-years´ war and the war between Austria and Prussia. In
the second half of the 19th century a quick industrial development of the town started (textile industry), it made
Úpice to be one of the most industrial towns in north-east
Bohemia. Nowadays Úpice has almost six thousand inhabitants. Amateur theatricals keep a long tradition in the
town, as well as music orchestras and different sports.
Well known is a local observatory which offers night and
day sky and the Sun observing with the professional lecturing to the public.
There are three bicycle trails and other sport opportunities are offered at the sports center Sparta with its new
skate park.

Athletics Championships Non-Stadia. For the sixth time
such an important event is taking place in our town, in the
region of the Jestřebí Mountains.
In 1999 mayors of 12 municipalities made an agreement concerning mutual cooperation as regards important social and sport events. It is a great honour for our
town and the whole region to welcome you and be your
host for the whole weekend of competitions in the region
of the Jestřebí Mountains.
I believe you will enjoy it and I wish you many sport
and cultural experiences. We take this important sport
event also as an opportunity to improve friendship among
nations of Europe.

Die Stadt Úpice
Die Stadt Úpice – das Zentrum des Falkengebirges liegt im Tal des Flusses Úpa im Riesengebirgsvorland.
Die Stadt entstand in einem Tal, von Wäldern und Bergen
eingesäumt und wird von den Bergen Velbaba/48l m
ü.M./und Kvíčala /469 m ü.M/ bewacht.
Zu der Stadt gehört die einst selbstständige Gemeinde Radeč. Úpice entstand als eine Wachsiedlung, an der
Abbiegung der Landstraße nach Schlesien bei dem Furt
über den Fluss Úpa. Am Anfang des 14.Jahrhunderts
gehörte Úpice als Verwaltungsstadt der Wiesenburger-Herrschaft der Herren von Dubé, die der Stadt Úpice zahlreiche Rechte, wie Henkerrecht, Marktrecht und Bierbraurecht gewährten. Im Jahre 1604 wurde in Úpice die erste
Schule gebaut. Im Jahre 1625 wurde das Städtchen von
einem großen Brand betroffen, bei dem die Kirche und
die Häuser auf dem Marktplatz niederbrannten. An Úpice gingen auch die Kriegsereignisse des Dreißigjährigen
und des Preußisch-Österreichischen Krieges nicht vorbei.
In der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts verzeichnete
Úpice eine rasche Entwicklung vor allem der Textilindustrie und wurde zu einer der industriereichsten Städte des
böhmischen Nordostens.
Zurzeit hat Úpice knapp 6000 Einwohner. Eine langjährige Tradition haben Laientheater, Musik und Sport.
Sehr wichtig ist auch die hiesige Sternwarte, die der breiten Öffentlichkeit sowohl die Beobachtung des nächtlichen Himmels, als auch die Sonnenbeobachtung am Tage
mit fachkundlicher Erklärung anbietet.
Durch die Stadt führen drei markierte Radwege und
sportliche Erlebnisse bietet auch das Areal Sparta mit dem
neu errichteten Skatepark.
Mit der Geschichte der Stadt können sich die Besucher
auf dem markierten Historischen Lehrpfad bekannt machen. Touristische Informationen sind im Touristischen
Informationszentrum erhältlich.

Gelegenheiten und Sportveranstaltungen zusammen zu

se nachází na úpatí severovýchodních svahů Jestřebích hor
v nadmořské výšce 521 m n. m..
V současné době žije v obci 1050 obyvatel. Archeologické vykopávky dokládají osídlení v obci již okolo
roku 1300. První písemná zmínka o obci Radvanice
však pochází až z roku 1558.
Život v obci významně ovlivnila těžba černého
uhlí. V dochovaných historických záznamech jsou
první zmínky o těžbě uhlí v Radvanicích zapsány
v roce 1804. Uhlí se po dlouhá léta využívalo jako
palivo v místních textilních továrnách. Rozmach hornictví v Radvanicích nastal po roce 1945. Těžba uhlí
byla v obci ukončena v roce 1994.
V obci Radvanice je mateřská škola, úplná základní škola, ordinace praktického lékaře, stomatologická ordinace, knihovna s veřejným internetem,
pošta. K nákupům slouží dvě prodejny smíšeného
zboží, drogerie a textil. Ze sportovišť v obci najdete
fotbalové hřiště, tenisový a volejbalový kurt, školní
tělocvičnu, posilovnu a moderní lyžařský areál.
Dominantou obce je kulturní památka Kaple sv.Jana Křtitele, která byla postavená v roce 1898 V roce
2000 byla provedena její rozsáhlá oprava. Kaple dnes
slouží také ke kulturním a společenským účelům.
V horní části obce při cestě na železniční nádraží se
nachází památková zóna lidové architektury s řadou
památkově chráněných roubených staveb, dnes převážně rekreačních chalup.
Jsme rádi, že můžeme v roce 2013 přivítat účastníky Mistrovství Evropy veteránů. Závod v chůzi, který
se u nás uskuteční, bude pro obec velkým sportovním a společenským svátkem. Věříme, že se všichni
závodníci a jejich doprovod, rozhodčí a další hosté
budou u nás cítit co nejlépe.
is situated at the foot of the northeastern
slopes of the Jestřebí Mountains in an altitude of 521
m asl. Current population of the village is 1050 inhabitants. Archaeological excavations show settlement
in around 1300. The first written mention of the Radvanice Village however dates to 1558.
Life in the village was significantly influenced by
coal mining. The preserved historical records show
the first mention of coal mining in Radvanice ,written in 1804. Coal was used as fuel in local textile
factories for many years. Mining boom in Radvanice occurred after 1945. Coal mining was stopped in
1994.
There is kindergarten, grammar school, GP surgery, dental surgery, a library with public internet,
and mail in Radvanice. The purchases are two stores
of general merchandise, drugstore and textiles. For
sport there is a football field, tennis and volleyball
courts, school gym and modern ski resort.
Its landmark is the building of St. John the Baptist
Chapel, which was built in 1898, in 2000 was its extensive repair. The chapel is now used also for cultural and social purposes.
In the upper part of the village on the way to the
railway station is monumental zone‘s architecture
with a number of listed timbered buildings, now
mostly holiday cottages.
We are pleased that in 2013 we will welcome participants of the European Veterans Athletics Championships Non-Stadia 2013, which take place in our
country, it will be great for the sport community and
social holiday.

Jestřebí, auf einer Höhe von 521 ü.d.M. Derzeit leben
im Dorf 1500 Einwohner. Archäologische Ausgrabungen zeigen die Besiedlung erst vom Jahre 1558.
Das Leben im Dorf wurde wesentlich durch Kohlebergbau beeinnflusst. In überlebenden historischen
Aufzeichnungen wurden die ersten Erwähnungen
des Bergbaus in Radvanice im Jahre 1804 aufgezeichnet. Die Kohle wurde für viele Jahre in lokalen
Textilfabriken als Brennstoff verwendet. Der Bergbau-Aufschwung in Radvanice trat nach dem Jahre
1945 auf. Kohlebergbau im Dorf wurde im Jahre 1994
beendet.
In Radvanice befindet sich der Kindergarten,die
Grundschule, die Ordination des praktischen Arztes,
die zahnärztliche Ordination, Bibliothek mit öffentlichem Internetzugang, das Postamt.
Zum Einkauf dienen zwei Lebensmittelgeschäfte,
Drogerie und Textilhandel. Von Sportanlagen findet
man hier den Fußballplatz, Tennis- und Volleyballplatz, Schulturnhalle, Fitnessraum und ein modernes Skizentrum.
Im Dorf dominiert ein Kulturdenkmal von der Kapelle des Hl. Johannes des Täufers, die im Jahre 1898
gebaut wurde. Im Jahre 2000 wurde sie ausführlich
renoviert. Die Kapelle dient auch zu kulturellen und
gesellschaftlichen Zwecken.
Im oberen Teil der Ortschaft befindet sich Zone
der Volksarchitektur mit einer Anzahl mit einigen
geschützten Fachwerkhäusern, jetzt meistens Ferienhäuser.
Wir freuen uns, dass wir im Jahre 2013 die Teilnehmer der Senioren-Europameisterschaft begrüßen
können.
Bei uns das realisierte Rennen im Gehen, wird für
die Ortschaft ein großes sport- und gesellschaftliches Fest sein. Wir glauben, dass sich bei uns alle
Wettkämpfer und ihre Begleitung, Schiedsrichter
und alle andere Gäste, wohl fühlen.

Obec
Malé Svatoňovice,
lidově zvaná Studánka, leží na úpatí
Jestřebích hor v nadmořské výšce 450 m
n.m., cca 15 km jihovýchodně od bývalého okresního
města Trutnov a cca 3 km severovýchodně od města Úpice v severovýchodním cípu Rtyňsko-svatoňovické kotliny
pod masívem Jestřebích hor. V severní části zasahuje
do CHKO Broumovsko. Obec Malé Svatoňovice a tři další
integrované obce Petrovice, Strážkovice a Odolov leží
na rozloze 676 ha a žije zde 1551 obyvatel.
Městečko má bohatou kulturní a sportovní tradici.
V roce 1890 se v Malých Svatoňovicích narodil spisovatel
a novinář Karel Čapek a na náměstí je od roku 1946 v jeho
rodném domě zřízeno Muzeum bratří Čapků. To tvoří dvě
samostatné expozice – expozice Karla Čapka představuje spisovatelův život, dílo, publikační činnost, osobní
korespondenci, rodinné fotografie. Expozici Josefa Čapka
ve druhém patře tvoří reprezentační soubor dvaceti olejomaleb, unikátní průřez tvorbou Josefa Čapka od počátku
tvorby přes kubistické období až po období protifašistické.
Představena je též grafika, tvorba literární i životopisná
data.
Dominantou náměstí je barokní poutní kostel zasvěcený Sedmi radostem Panny Marie. Kostel dala postavit
v roce 1731 tehdejší majitelka náchodského panství Anna
Marie Viktorie Piccolomini de Aragona na místě jednoduché dřevěné kapličky poblíž studánky provázené pověstí
o zázračné schopnosti uzdravení nemocných.
Atmosféru náměstí a romantickou pověst o studánce
doplňuje procházka Mariánským sadem – lesoparkem
nad náměstím. Byl zbudován v letech 1891–1893 zásluhou Spolku pro zvelebení poutního místa. Marianský sad
tvoří 7 kapliček, křížová cesta se 14 dřevěnými kříži s vyobrazením zastavení Ježíše Krista a Boží hrob uvnitř vyzdobený araukarity (zkamenělé stromy) a sochou – tělem
Krista od řezbáře Suchardy z Nové Paky
K historii obce neoddělitelně patří hornictví. 400 let
dolování připomíná naučná tabule a ukázka bývalé štoly
Kateřina nad náměstím.
Obec i její okolí poskytuje ideální sportovní podmínky
pro běžce i běžecké lyžování.
Návštěvníci Malých Svatoňovic mohou svou procházku
zakončit na vrcholu Jestřebích hor Žaltmanu (739 m n.m.).
Je zde vybudována kovová rozhledna a vidět je do celé
„Krakonošovy zahrady“, která hluboce ovlivnila tvorbu
bratří Čapků.
Těšíme se na všechny, kteří k nám přijedou jako účastníci Mistrovství Evropy veteránů. Máme bohaté zkušenosti z Mistrovství světa v běhu do vrchu v roce 1997,
z Mistrovství Evropy veteránů v roce 2003 i z Mistrovství
Evropy v běhu do vrchu v roce 2006. Pro naši obec to byl
vždy velký sportovní svátek a i tentokrát uděláme vše pro
spokojenost závodníků, jejich doprovod i diváky.

village
popularly called Spring (healing spring), located at the
foot of the Jestřebí Mountains (Hawk Hills) at an altitude of 450 m above sea level, about 15 km south-east of
the district main Town Trutnov and approximately 3 km
northeast of the Town Úpice in the northeast corner of
Rtyňsko-svatoňovické basin under the mass Jestřebí
Mountains. In the northern part extends to the PLA Broumovsko.
Malé Svatoňovice and three other integrated community Petrovice Strážkovice and Odolov lies on an area of
676 ha and a population of 1551 inhabitants.
The Village has a rich cultural and sporting tradition.
In 1890 in Malé Svatoňovice famous writer and journalist Karel Čapek was born and there is Museum of Čapek
brothers in his birthplace house at the square since 1946.
It consists of two separate exposures – exposures about
Karel Čapek´s life, work, publications, personal correspondence, family photos. Josef Čapek exposure on the
second floor consists of a representative set of twenty oil
paintings, unique profile of the works of Josef Čapek from
the beginning through the creation of Cubist period to the
anti-fascist. There are also presented graphics, creation of
literary and biographical data.
The Village Square is dominated by the Baroque pilgrimage church dedicated to the seven joys of the Virgin
Mary. The church was constructed in 1731 by then owner
of Nachod estate Anna Maria Victoria Piccolomini de Aragon in place of simple wooden chapel near the well guided
legends about the miraculous powers of healing.
Square atmosphere and romantic legend of the Fountain complements walk in the Marian orchard- forest park
above the square. It was built between 1891–1893 due to
the Association for the promotion of pilgrim place. Marian
orchard consists of 7 chapels Calvary pilgrimage with 14
wooden crosses with the image of Jesus Christ stops and
God‘s grave decorated by fossilized araucaria and a statue
- the body of Christ by carver Sucharda from Nova Paka.
The history of the Village are inseparable with mining.
400 years of mining reminds instructional demonstration
boards and former mine Catherine above the square.
The Village and its surroundings provide ideal conditions for sport runners and cross-country skiing.
Visitors to Malé Svatoňovice can finish their walk to
the top of the Jestřebí Mountains Žaltman Hill (739 m).
There is built metal lookout tower with a view on a whole
„Krakonoš Garden“ (Giant Mountains), which profoundly
influenced in the work of Čapek brothers.

Die Gemeinschaft
Malé Svatoňovice,
im Volksmund Brünnlein, liegt am Fuße der Berge Jestřebí
auf einer Höhe von 450 m ü.d.M. etwa 15 km südlich der
ehemaligen Kreisstadt Trutnov und etwa 3 km nordöstlich
von der Stadt Úpice in der Ecke der Rtyně-Svatoňovice
Mulde unter den Massen Jestřebí Bergen. Im nördlichen
Teil erstreckt sich die Gemeinschaft in den geschützten
Bereich Broumov.
Die Gemeinschaft Malé Svatoňovice und drei andere
intergrierte Gemeinschaften liegen auf einer Fläche von
676 ha und leben hier 1551 Einwohner.
Das Städtchen Malé Svatoňovice hat eine reiche kulturelle und sportliche Tradition. Im Jahre 189O wurde in
Malé Svatoňovice der Schriftsteller und Journalist Karel
Čapek geboren und auf dem Marktplatz ist seit 1946 in
seinem Elternhaus ein Brüders Čapek Museum.
Es besteht aus zwei getrennten Expositionen-Exposition Karel Čapek stellt sein Leben, Werk, seine Verlagsaktivitäten,persönliche Korespondenz, Familienfotos vor.
Exposition Josef Čapek-befindet sich im zweiten Stock
und bildet eine repräsentativen Satz von 20 Ölbilder,einzigartiges Profil der Werke von Josef Čapek, vom Beginn
der Bildung kubistischen Periode durch, bis zur antifaschistischen Zeit. Vorgestellt ist auch Grafik, literarisches
Schaffen und biographische Daten.
Am Marktplatz dominiert barocke Wallfahrtskirche
Unserer Lieben Frau von den Sieben Freuden gewidmet.
Die Kirche wurde im Jahre 1731 von der ehemaligen
Schloss Náchod Besitzerin Anna Marie Viktorie Piccolomini de Aragona, auf dem Platzeinfacher Holzkapelle unweit
vom Brunnen, gebaut.
Platz Atmosphäre und romantische Legende der Brunnen fügt der Spaziergang durch den Marian Park-Waldpark über dem Marktplatz. Dieser wurde in den Jahren
1891–1893 gebaut. Den Park bilden-7 Kapellen,der Kreurzweg mit 14 Holzkreuzen und mit dem Heilligen Grab mit
versteinerten Bäumen und mit Christ-Statue vom Schnitzer Sucharda aus Nová Paka.
Untrerbarer Teil der Geschichte ist Bergbauwessen.
400 Jahre Bergbau erinnert eine Lehrtafel und ein Muster
der ehemaligen Erdstolle Kateřina über dem Marktplatz.
Das Ort und die Umgebung bieten ideale Bedingungen
für Sport-für Läufer und Langlaufen.
Die Besucher können den Spaziergang am Gipfel der
Jestřebí Berge-am Žaltman (739 m ü.d.M.) beenden. Hier
wurde ein Metall Turm gebaut und man kann den ganzen
„Rübezahl-Garten“besichtigen. Der „Rübezahl – Garten
beinflusste die Arbeit der Brüder Čapek.
Wir freuen uns auf alle, die zu als Teilnehmer zu der Senioren-Europameisterschaft kommen. Wir haben reiche
Erfahrungen von Weltmeisterschaft im Berglauf 1997, Senioren-Europameisterschaft 2003, Europameisterschaft
im Berglauf 2006.
Für unsere Gemeinde war es immer ein ganz besonderes Sportfest und Erlebnis auch diesmal machen wir alles
für die Zufriedenheit der Wettkämpfer und für ihre Begleiter,sowie Zuschauer.
Wir freuen uns auf das Treffen, auf die schönen sportlichen, kulturellen und gesellschaftlichen Erfahrungen.

Obec Havlovice
leží v Podkrkonoší v malebném údolí podél řeky Úpy na poloviční cestě mezi městy Trutnov
a Náchod. Její rozloha je 874 hektarů
a průměrná nadmořská výška 345 metrů. V současné době žije v obci více než 950 obyvatel.
Počátky obce jsou úzce spjaty s dějinami hradu
Vízmburku. Ten nechal na návrší nad řekou Úpou
postavit ve druhé polovině 13. století bohatý šlechtic
Tas z rodu erbu třmene. První písemná zmínka o obci
pochází až z roku 1545.
Nejstarší památkou je zřícenina hradu Vízmburku, dále pak kamenná zvonička na skále z roku 1745
a několik roubených stavení, z nichž nejstarší je Hejnův statek z roku 1791. Za zmínku stojí zastřešený
dřevěný most přes řeku Úpu a památník obětem I.
a II. světové války s bustou T.G. Masaryka.
V současné době v obci naleznete obecní úřad,
základní a mateřskou školu, prodejnu potravin,
kulturní dům, dvě restaurace, turistickou ubytovnu
a rozsáhlý sportovní areál. V obci aktivně působí 11
spolků, které svým občanům v průběhu celého roku
nabízejí více než čtyři desítky sportovních, kulturních
a společenských aktivit. V roce 2010 byl v délce 24 km
vybudován poznávací okruh „U Nás“. Na 24 informačních tabulích se zájemci mohou seznámit s historií

Obec v roce 2007 zvítězila v celostátním kole prestižní soutěže Vesnice roku a v roce 2008 ji osobně
navštívil prezident České republiky pan Václav Klaus.
Jsme velice potěšeni, že naše obec může v roce
2013 již potřetí přivítat účastníky Mistrovství Evropy veteránů v silničním běhu a chůzi. Pro naši obec
je to významná událost. Budeme se snažit připravit
pro závodníky, pro jejich doprovod i pro další hosty
příjemné prostředí, ve kterém se budou cítit co nejlépe. Byli bychom rádi, kdyby se k nám po závodech
rádi vraceli, tak jak tomu bylo po Mistrovství Evropy
veteránů v silničním běhu a chůzi, které se v naší obci
uskutečnilo v roce 1993 a v roce 2003.

Havlovice Village
is situated in a scenic valley along the Upa
River half way between the Towns of Trutnov and
Nachod. It is 874 ha large and the average altitude is
345 m. In the present time population is 950 people.
The beginnings of the village are closely connected
to the history of the Vizmburk Castle. The castle was
built in the second half of the 13th century by the rich
aristocrat Tas. The first written reference about the
castle comes from the year 1545.
The oldest monument is the ruin of the Vizmburk
Castle , followed by the stone belfry from 1745 and
some wooden houses, the oldest of which is the
farm of Mr. Hejna from 1791. We also cannot forget
the wooden bridge across the Upa River and the monument with the bust of first president T.G. Masaryk
commemorating the victims of the 1st and the 2nd
world war.
In the present time you can find the local authority, kindergarten, elementary school , a shop, the
cultural centre, two pubs, tourist accommodation
and a large sport facility in the village. There are also
eleven clubs which offer inhabitants more than forty
sport, cultural and social activities during the year.
In 2010 the interpretive trail “At Ours’’ was built. As
many as 24 boards provide information about the

The village was awarded the Best Village of the
Czech Republic in 2007 and it was visited by the
President of Czech Republic Mr. Vaclav Klaus in 2008.
In 2013, for the third time, we are very pleased to
welcome the competitors of the European Veterans
Athletics Championships Non-Stadia . It is a very important event for our village. We will try our best to
prepare transportation and a hospitable setting for
competitors as well as other guests. We will be happy if attendees come back to our village after the
competition, just as it was after the competitions in
1993 and 2003.

Die Gemeinde Havlovice
liegt in einem malerischen Tal längs des
Flusses Upa auf dem halben Weg zwischen den Städten Náchod und Trutnov. Das Dorf ist 874 ha groß
und durchschnittlich 345 m hoch gelegen. Zurzeit
wohnen hier mehr als 950 Bewohner. Der Anfang der
Geschichte der Gemeinde ist eng mit der Geschichte
der Burg Vizmburk verbunden. Diese wurde in der
zweiten Hälfte des 13. Jahrhunderts auf der Anhöhe
über dem Fluss Upa von dem reichen Adler Tas erbaut. Die erste schriftliche Erwähnung kommt aus
dem Jahre 1545.
Die älteste Sehenswürdigkeit ist die Burgruine
von Vizmburk, weiter der steinerne Glockenturm
auf dem Felsen aus dem Jahre 1745 und ein paar
Blockhütten, von denen das Bauernhaus von Hejna
aus dem Jahre 1791 am ältesten ist. Es sind auch die
überdachte Holzbrücke über dem Fluss Upa und das
Denkmal für die Opfer des ersten und des zweiten
Weltkrieges mit der Büste von T. G. Masaryk zu erwähnen.
In der Gegenwart findet man in dem Dorf das
Gemeindeamt, den Kindergarten und die Grundschule, ein Lebensmittelgeschäft, das Kulturhaus,
zwei Gaststätten, eine touristische Herberge und ein
umfangreiches Sportareal. In der Gemeinde wirken
11 Bunde, die den Bürgern im Lauf des ganzen Jahres
mehr als vierzig sportliche, kulturelle und gesellschaftliche Veranstaltungen anbieten. Im Jahre 2010
wurde der 24 Km lange Lehrpfad „Bei uns“ errichtet.
Auf 24 Informationstafeln kann man die Geschichte
und die Gegenwart der Gemeinde kennenlernen.

Die Gemeinde hat im Jahre 2007 den Dorferneuerungspreis der Tschechischen Republik gewonnen
und im Jahre 2008 wurde sie von dem Staatspräsidenten Herrn Vaclav Klaus besucht.
Es freut uns, dass unsere Gemeinde im Jahre 2013
schon zum dritten Mal Teilnehmer der Europameisterschaft der Veteranen in Straßenlauf und Gehen
willkommen kann. Für unsere Gemeinde ist es ein
bedeutendes Ereignis. Wir werden uns bemühen,
für die Wettkämpfer, ihre Begleitung und für andere
Gäste, eine angenehme Umgebung zu bilden, in der
sie sich am besten fühlen. Wir wären froh, dass sie
sich auch später gern zu uns zurückkehren, wie es
nach den letzten Europameisterschaften in Jahren
1993 und 2003 war.

Kancelář závodu
Kancelář závodu bude umístěna v Městském penzionu v ulici Dr. Hejny společně s ubytovacím centrem.
Penzion je vzdálen od náměstí cca 250m.
Technická porada
Technická porada se bude konat ve vstupní hale divadla Aloise Jiráska v Úpici nedaleko náměstí TGM (100
m), ve čtvrtek 23. května 2013 v 17:00 hodin.
S protestem bude uhrazena částka 100€ jako záloha, která se v případě nevyslyšení protestu nevrací.
Všechna odvolání k odvolací komisi musí být podána v technicko-informačním centru (TIC), kde budou k dispozici
příslušné formuláře.
Aby se dospělo ke správnému rozhodnutí fair-play, porota může zvážit všechny dostupné důkazy a informace
a může požadovat rozhovor od všech, od kterých to považuje za nezbytné.
Závěrečný ceremoniál
Závěrečný ceremoniál je naplánován spolu s kulturním programem na náměstí TGM v Úpici na neděli 17:30 hod.

Startovní čísla a čipy
Každý závodník obdrží při prezentaci dvě startovní
čísla, na kterých bude vyznačeno jméno, kategorie
a stát, který reprezentuje. Číslo musí mít po dobu závodu pevně připevněné na prsou a zádech. Čip je jednotný pro všechny starty mimo krosu. Závodník musí
mít čip připevněn do šněrovadla boty. Při prezentaci
bude vybírán za čip poplatek 500 Kč. Po závodech
bude poplatek vrácen v kanceláři závodu nejdéle
v neděli 13:00 – 17:00 po odevzdání čipu.
Zahajovací ceremoniál
Zahajovací ceremoniál proběhne na náměstí TGM
v Úpici v pátek v 19:30hod spolu s kulturním programem.

Zdravotní služba bude zajištěna při všech závodech
organizací „Českého červeného kříže“. V případě nutnosti je zajištěna stálá služba v nemocnici v Trutnově.
Odvoz zajišťuje „Báňská záchranná služba Odolov“.
Soutěž družstev
V každém závodě bude hodnoceno družstvo jako celek, vyhodnocením časů tří nejlepších závodníků v jednotlivých družstvech.

Předpokládaný kurs v době mistrovství 1 EUR cca 25

Jsou tři základní druhy družstev
Běžné družstvo: 3 závodníci ze stejné země, stejné věkové kategorie. Není vyžadována žádná informace od vedoucího družstva do TIC před závodem.
Dopingová kontrola
U závodníků bude provedena náhodná dopingová
kontrola.
Složené družstvo: 3 závodníci ze stejné země, z různých věkových kategorií učastnící se stejného závodu.Toto
družstvo soutěží v nižší věkové kategorii než je kategorie jednoho z nich. Složené družstvo není povoleno, je-li
možno sestavit družstvo „Běžné“ v jedné z dotyčných věkových kategorií. Vedoucí družstva musí před závodem
informovat TIC o jménech příslušných atletů. Takoví závodníci budou hodnoceni v závodě jednotlivců ve svých
věkových kategoriích.
Protesty a odvolání
Protesty musí být v souladu s pravidly IAAF. Písemné
protesty týkající se stavu soutěžícího atleta musí být
podány před technickou poradou technickému delegátu. Není-li protest vyřešen před schůzí, může se
dotyčný závodník závodu zúčastnit „pod protestem“
a ten bude dořešen dodatečně radou EVAA.
Protesty proti výsledkům či vedení závodu budou
nejprve vzneseny ústně rozhodčímu závodu samotným protestujícím atletem nebo jeho zástupcem do
30ti minut po oficiálním vyhlášení výsledků v místě
konání dotyčného závodu.Po rozhodnutí rozhodčího,
ústně nebo písemně, je možno podat odvolání k odvolací komisi.
Odvolání k odvolací komisi musí být podáno do 30ti
minut po oficiálním zveřejnění rozhodnutí rozhodčího příslušného závodu.Protest k odvolací komisi
musí být písemný, podepsaný vedoucím družstva
nebo oficiálním zástupcem dotyčného atleta a musí
být podepsán samotným atletem.

Mezinárodní družstvo: 2 závodníci ze stejné země a třetí závodník ze země jiné. Tyto země nesmí mít dostatek atletů pro sestavení jiného družstva (vč. složeného). Prohlášení musí být podepsáno zástupci obou zemí. Mezinárodní
družstvo má stejná práva jako ostatní zahrnující stupně vítězů či medaile. V případě vítězství mezinárodního
družstva v závodu, zazní při předávacím ceremoniálu hymna EVAA.

Závod se běží na obrátkové trati, budou značeny kilometry závodu. Start i cíl na náměstí TGM. Povrch trati
je asfaltový s vyjímkou prvních a posledních 490m,
které jsou po dlažbě.
Vyhlášení vítězů bude ihned po zahajovacím ceremoniálu ve 20:30 hodin na náměstí TGM.

Celá trať je travnatá s mírným převýšením.
Okruh 1 km dlouhý.
Vyhlášení bude ve 14:00 hodin na náměstí Karla Čapka doprovázené kulturním programem a hudebními
koncerty po celé odpoledne. V 15:00 hodin bude
přijetí oficiálních hostů starostkou obce v prostorách
Muzea Bratří Čapků. Všichni mají možnost využít
volného vstupu do Muzea Bratří Čapků v době 14:0019:00 hodin.

Jednotlivé kilometry budou viditelně značeny.

Kromě prvních a posledních 490 m (po dlažbě) je celý
povrch asfaltový a téměř rovinatý.

Specific services of the TIC are (but no limited to)

Protest and appeal
Protest must be made in compliance with IAAF rules. Written protest concerning the status of an athlete to
compete in the championships must be made before the technical meeting( Thursday May 23rd 5p.m.) to the
Technical Delegate. Protest concerning the reset or conduct of an event shall, first be made orally to the Referee
by the athlete him/herself or by someone acting on their behalf, within 30 minutes of the official announcement
of the reset of that event in the venue in which the event was conducted. After the desicionby the Referee, ether
verbally or written, there shall bet he right of appeal to the Jury of Appeal.Appeal to the Jury of Appeal must be
made, within 30 minutes of the official announcement of the desicion made by the Referee. The Protest to the
Jury must be in writing, signed by the Team Manager, or an official on behalf of the athletes and must be signed
by the athletes themselves. The Protest shall be accompanied by a deposit of 100EUR, which must be forfeited if
the protest is not upheld.All appeal to the Jury of Appeal must be made only at the TIC. Forms will be available
there. To drive at a fair decision, the Jury of Appeal shall consult all the available evidence and interview all those
whom they consider necessary.

Running Events
Number bibs and chips
All athletes will receive two (2) identical bibs with
name, age group and representative country,one to
be worn on the front and the other one on the back.
Bibs must not be folded or cut in any way. Doing so
could lead to disqualification. Chip is unified for each
events excluding CrossCountry Relay. Chip must be
fasten on shoelace. The refundable deposit for the
chip will be 500 Kč payable by the Registration in
Registration Office. This deposit will be returned
exchange of chip in Registration Office no late than
Sunday May 26, 2013 1p.m.- 5p.m.
Opening Ceremony
Opening Ceremony of EVACNS will take place on Friday May 24, 2013 from
7.30 p.m. on the TGM Square in Úpice with cultural
program.
Medical Service
For each event a medical service (doctors, paramedics, Organisation of Czech Red Cross) will be
organised in the competition venues. The Hospital
in Trutnov is nonstop prepared in case of urgency.

Doping Control
Doping Control will be the responsibility of the LOC,
and will be conducted under IAAF-WADA Rules. The
EVAA Delegate and /or LOC Doping Control Delegate
will personnaly supervise the doping controls set up
and procedure. Athletes selected for the random doping control will be informed immediately after the

Team events
In each event a team ranking will be issued by addition of the time of the three best athletes of the team. There
are 3 kinds of team.
Natural Team is: 3 athletes from the same country in the same age group. Composed Team is: 3 athletes from the same country but from different age group competing in the same
race. This team competes in the lower age group of one of the athlete. Composed team is not allowed if a natural
team is possible in one of the concerned age group.
Team manager has to inform the T.I.C. about the name, the age group and the bib number of the athletes.These
athletes will compete in their own age group for individual ranking.The forms will be distributed at the technical
meeting or will be taken out at the TIC. The forms must be submitted to the TIC as follows.
International Team is: 2 athletes from a country and a third one from another country. The two countries must not
have enough athletes to make their own team (including Composed Team). The declaration card will be signed by
the two country’s representatives.International team has the same right than other teams including podium and
medals. In case of an international team win an event the EVAA’s anthem will be played for the awards ceremony. In each event these kinds of team are allowed (or not) to compete according the board below.

TIC/Rennbüro
Das Rennbüro befindet sich in der Stadtpension zusammen mit dem Unterkunftszentrum.
Die Pension ist cca 250 m vom Marktplatz entfernt.
Die technische Beratung
Die technische Beratung findet in der Eintrittshalle
des Alois Jirásek Theaters in Úpice, unweit des TGM
Marktplatz (100m), am Donnerstag, dem 23. Mai
2013 um 17:00 Uhr, statt.
Startnummern und Chip
Jeder Wettläufer bekommt bei der Präsentation
zwei Startnummern bezeichnet mit seinem Namen,
Kategorie und mit dem Staat der Repräsentation.
Die Startnummer muss beim Rennen fest an der
Brust und am Rücken befestigt sein. Chip ist für alle
Wettkämpfe, außer Cross, einheitlich. Chip muss am
Schuhschnürband befestigt sein. Bei der Präsentation wird Chipgebühr 500 Kč eingenommen. Nach
den Wettkämpfen wird das Gebühr im Rennbüro,
spätestens am Sonntag von 13:00-17:00 Uhr, nach
der Chipabgebung zurückgegeben.
Eröffnungszeremonie
Die Eröffnungszeremonie verläuft am Marktplatz
TGM in Úpice, am Freitag um 19:30 Uhr, mit einem
Kulturprogramm zusammen.
Gesundheitsdienst
Gesundheitsdienst wird bei allen Wettkämpfen
durch die Organisation „Das rote Kreuz“ gesichert.
Beim Notfall ist der ständige Dienst im Krankenhaus
in Trutnov gesichert. Den Transport sichert Rettungsdienst Odolov.
Währung-Kurs
Der voraussetzende Kurs in der Zeit der EM ist cca
1 EUR = 25 Kč

Bei den Wettkämpern wird eine zufällige Doping
eine kontrolle durchgeführt

Reklamationen und Berufung
Alle Reklamationen über den Status eines Athleten und sein Recht ,an den Wettkämpfen teilnehmen zu dürfen,
müssen beim technischen Vertreter vor Beginn des Technischen Meetings schriftlich abgegeben werden. Sollte der Fall nicht vor Beginn des Wettkämpfes geregels werden können, so wird der Betroffene unter Vorbehalt
berichtigt, an dem Rennen teilzunehmen, und der Fall wird dem Obersten Vorsitzrat der EVAA vorgelegt. Alle
Reklamationen, die ein Resultat oder den Verlauf eines Wettkampfes betreffen, müssen, den Regeln der IAAF
entsprechend, durch den Athleten persönlich oder durch eine Vertrauensperson direkt beim Supervisor mündlich
abgegeben werden. Wenn dieser seine Entscheidung getroffen hat, ist noch eine Berufung bei der treffenden
Jury möglich. Diese Berufung muss schrifftlich eingelegt werden, und eine Kation von EUR 100 wird verlangt,
die nur dann zurückerstattet wird, wenn die Berufung als zulässig anerkannt wird. Andernfalls bleibt sie den
Organisatoren beibehalten. Berufungen müssen beim CIT abgegeben werden, der sie an die Berufungsjury weiterleitet.Um zu einer gerechten Entscheidung zu kommen wird die Jury alle Beweise gründlich nachprüfen und
betroffenen Personen anhören.

Die Abschlusszeremonie ist zusammen mit dem Kulturprogramm auf dem Marktplatz TGM in Upice am Sonntag
um 17:30 Uhr geplant.

Mannschaftwertung
Bei jedem Wettbewerb gibt es eine Mannschaftsplatzierung nach Addieren der Zeiten der drei besten Läufer der
Mannschaft.
Drei verschiede Mannschaftsaufstellungen sind möglich:
eine „natürliche“Mannschaft: sie besteht aus 3 Athleten eines Landes und von gleicher Alterklasse. Für solche
Manschaften bedarf es keiner vorherigen Anmeldung durch den Teamchef.
gemischte Mannschaft: sie bestehen aus 3 Athleten eines Landes, jedoch von verschiedenen Alterklassen,
die an
demselben Rennen teilnehmen.
diese Mannschaft nimmt an dem Rennen in der Altersklasse des jüngsten der 3 Athleten teil.
die Anmeldung einer gemischten Mannschaft ist nicht gestattet, wenn schon eine „natürliche“ Mannschaft in der
Alterklasse am Wettkampf teilnimmt.
der Mannschaftsbetreuer muss den CIT über die Aufstellung der gemischten Mannschaften informieren.
die Athleten nehmen an der individuellen Vertung in ihrer eigenen Altersklasse teil.
internationale eine Mannschaft: sie besteht aus 2 Athleten eines Landes und einem dritten Athleten eines anderen Landes.
dies gilt nur wenn zwei Länder über ungenügend Athleten verfügen, um eine eigene Mannschaft aufstellen zu
können (natürlich oder gemischte Mannschaft).
Das Anmeldeformular muss von beiden Teamchefs unterzeichnet werden.
Internationale Mannschaften haben die gleichen rechte wie die anderen Mannschaften (einschliesslich Podium
und Medaillen). Im Falle eines Sieges einer internationalen Mannschaft wird bei der Medaillenverteilung die
Hymne der EVAA gespielt. Im jedem Wettkampf sind folgende Mannschaften startberechtigt:

Sporthalle der Brüder Čapek Grundschule geöffnet.

Die Strecke mit Umdrehung wird mit Kilometerschilder bezeichnet. Start und Ziel am Marktplatz TGM.
