Stromag Lamellenkupplungen für Schiffsgetriebe sind ölgekühlte und drucköl- geschaltete Lamellenkupplungen. Sie werden überall
dort eingesetzt, wo auf kleinstem Raum große
Drehmomente sicher zu übertragen sind. Mit

gesetzt. Die Kupplung ist mit einem Nenndrehmoment von mehr als zwei Millionen Nm,
1,2 m Durchmesser und einem Gewicht von

Stromag multi-disc clutches for marine gearboxes are oil cooled and operate hydraulically.
They are designed for reliable torque transmission with minimum dimensions in order to
operate in the smallest space envelope. As
a result of continuous development there is
no limit t o t h e e n h a n c e d p e r f o r m a n c e o f
this type of clutch (KMS 200.000) Stromag
has reached new horizons with a transmittable torque of more than 2 million Nm, a diameter of 1.2 metre and a weight of nearly 4 tons
- this clutch is the largest ever-built for the
entire drive sector.
