MINULÝ ČAS PRŮBĚHOVÝ vs MINULÝ ČAS PROSTÝ řešení
E.g.
He talked to her last week.
He didn´t talk to her last week.
Did he talk to her last week?
E.g.
He was talking to her yesterday at 5 o´clock.
He wasn´t talking to her when I saw him.
Was he talking to her when I played the piano?
Past simple vs past continuous - v souvětích bývá často minulý čas průběhový na
pozadí (delší děj – to, co se dělo) a minulý čas prostý (kratší děj) označuje, co se událo
a rychle skončilo.
E.g. The phone rang while I was making a cake.
It was raining when he left home.
