Exkurze žáků druhého stupně a gymnázia do Polska K oncem září vyjeli žáci druhého stupně a gymnázia na exkurzi do Polska. Cílem byly koncentrační tábor Osvětim, historické město Krakov a solné doly ve Věličce. Nejhlubší zážitky si všichni odnesli z naší první zastávky v Osvětimi a v likvidačním táboře Březinka. Nikomu zde nebylo do smíchu. Celou akci pro nás připravila cestovní agentura pro školy Pragotour Plus, které patří pochvala za profesionalitu a perfektně připravený program. v Second Stage and High School Students Travel to Poland A people could be treated worse than things. In conclusion, I left relieved that this tragedy did not occur during our generation (hopefully it never will) and grateful for the life that I have.” The next morning was devoted to sightseeing around Krakow. We saw Krakow’s fire-breathing dragon, toured two important cathedrals, and ate in the charming city center restaurants. In the afternoon, we traveled 300 meters underground to the Wieliczka salt mines, classified as a UNESCO treasure thanks to its unique atmosphere. We were surprised to learn all the things that can be made from salt! After hours underground, we emerged with a boost of energy from breathing the salty air, and finally made our way t the end of September, second stage and high school took a multiple-day field trip to Poland. The main destinations of the trip were Auschwitz concentration camp, the historic city of Krakow and the Wieliczka salt mines. All participants were deeply affected by the visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau. Coming face to face with the haunted spaces and thousands of items left behind by the victims left everyone feeling somber and serious. David wrote: “It was a huge lesson for all of us. There were tons of mixed thoughts and feelings. Not one person laughed. Clippings of hair, broken glasses, photographs, drawings, portraits.... Personally, I previously never believed that n Y Z [ \ ] ^ _ ` a b c ] [ Z d e f g h ] i e j k e c a l e f e j k e c m n o p back to Bohemia.
