Seam Construction

All of the Lavacore seams are overlapped during flatlock sewing to ensure
maximum water integrity and reduced waterflow through the seams. Maximum
heat retention is therefore achieved when worn in colder water conditions. See
diagram.
Lavacore Essential Exposure Protection Garments use a simple yet effective formula:

To ensure maximum integrity and longevity of your Lavacore garment the seam
cross-overs on the inside of the suit are locked under the threads of the adjoining
seam.
Lycra layer is a 180g/sqm knitted nylon warp knit Tricot with water repellent treatment to
ensure fast water run off and anti wind chill properties.

The seam construction being doubled and flat-locked allows for maximum stretch
out of the four way stretch fabric technology without compromising at seam
edges.

Ultraflex Durable Outer Protection +
layer is an impermeable Breathable Microporous high stretch PU Film which is wind proof
and breathable allowing perspiration to be drawn away in hot conditions.
Insulative Thermal Inner Layer.
Fleece layer is a 240g/sqm 4 way stretch polyester fleece with elastane. It has Anti-Pill
treatment as well as Anti-Microbial treatment to reduce odor and eliminate bacteria.

It is the Unique combination of these layers that make this fabric float between
lines not yet crossed by anything on the market.

Lycra panels with contemporary lines and graphics are incorporated
into all garments.

has to be worn to be believed, the fabric stands in a league of its own.

Full Under the Arm Gusset. This ensures there is no rub or irritation on the sensitive
under side of the arms and side of the body. It also reduces restricted movement
considerably and allows for extra reach without seam strain and damage.
The unique synthetic construction closely matches the stretch and movement of a
traditional Lycra rash vest, yet provides the insulation qualities similar to that of a Thermal
and remains neutrally buoyant, working in harmony with water like a Neoprene wetsuit.

Combining the outer shell and the inter PU layer, the fleece of Polytherm integrated

Taking care of your Garment
In order to ensure greatest comfort and longest life of your new Lavacore product,
it is important that you take care of it properly.
A few simple tips will ensure that your product continues to provide you with the
ultimate in thermal protection and comfort for many years to come.
Care should be taken when donning and doffing your garment. Be careful not to
unduly snag or stress your garment, it should easily slide on and off.
Do not machine wash.
Hand wash in cool water after each use.
Do not Tumble Dry.
To dry - hang your garment inside out, on a padded plastic
or wooden hanger, and away from direct sunlight.
Avoid storing Lavacore product folded.
Store on a padded hanger or flat.
Zippers and sliders should be thoroughly cleaned after
each use and lubricated regularly with a suitable wax.
