There are different shops …
Most people do their shopping in
supermarkets where they find all
goods under one roof.
It is comfortable and saves the time.
… but you may also go to a local shop, e.g.
… to a butcher´s
to get some meat
… or to a
greengrocer´s
to buy fruit and
vegetables
… or to a baker´s
to get bread,
rolls, cakes etc.
In a supermarket
… you insert a coin to get a trolley (cart)
and put goods in it that
you choose.
In the end you pay
at the cash-desk.
At the cash-desk
Sometimes you have to queue…
You may
pay in
cash…
… or
by credit card
You get a receipt
At stalls
You may get cheap goods
from stalls in streets
… often not of very good quality
