prefer to ride on flat terrain. What unfolds before you is a diverse landscape that will immediately enchant you. While the region surrounding
the Elbe River (home of the well-known Labská route) is a primarily flat

In addition to beautiful landscapes, the region not only boasts an interesting history and fascinating technical monuments, but also kind,
hospitable, and open-hearted people.
Its crown jewel is horses, not only because it is home to one of the most
famous horse races in the world, the Velká Pardubická steeplechase, but
also because of the Old Kladruber horses breeding programme, as well

Králický Sněžník
CALENDAR OF SELECTED EVENTS:
The Králický Sněžník tourist area is famous for its untamed wilderness,
sought-after by tourists year-round. The mysteries of the area‘s deep forests, expansive meadows, secret spots, and lookout points will definitely
enchant cyclists as well.
Here, you can not only relax through rest, but also through healthy activities. The area offers countless adrenaline experiences and a diverse variety of marked routes through natural reserves or the surrounding natural
parks, interwoven with streams and healing springs.
Each of these will offer you something completely different. Králický
Sněžník Natural Reserve attracts with its numerous modern services and
newly-marked routes through the third-highest mountain range in the
Czech Republic. You can get to the Jeřáb Natural Park from such places as
the majestic monastery at Hora Matky Boží Mountain, with its newly-constructed memorial to victims of internment. At the Suchý vrch – Buková
hora Natural Park, you can combine exercise with high-quality cuisine and
a visit to one of the most significant historic military monuments in the
Czech Republic, the underground Museum of Czechoslovakian Fortifications in the Bouda artillery fortification.
The marked trails and cycling routes will delight both families with children
and athletes seeking new challenges. Visitors will surely welcome the relaxing mood of the numerous shady tree-lined alleys, as well as the option
to conquer ascents with the help of ski lifts (such as those at Dolní Morava
and Červená Voda). The curious will no doubt take a moment to explore the
countless (over 200) reinforced concrete bunkers strewn about the landscape. More demanding athletes can compare their performance with the results of some of the local cycling races. Some of the most interesting worthy
of mention include the Jeřáb 1003 – Červená Voda, Suchý vrch time trials –
Červená Voda, Slaměnka time trials – Dolní Morava, or the Rampušák – Štíty.
Get your bike ready for an exciting ride, and allow yourself to be surprised
by the Králický Sněžník Tourist Area!
