In over 50 designs, Pastettes® make liquid transfers quicker, easier and safer. Manufactured from non-toxic food grade LDPE, the
single piece construction and responsive finger control give performance that can be relied on time and again.

Sterile Pastettes
All Pastettes are lot controlled and a choice of sterile 20, 10 or single wrapped pack formats allow you to conveniently carry out
your sterile work with the confidence you need for successful aseptic procedures.

Pastettes® are available in over 50 designs and can be used for many
specialist as well as general purpose requirements.
Boxes
and Cases
A safe and convenient alternative to glass pipettes, available in numerous
shapes and sizes. Alpha Laboratories offers Pastettes® in sterile, as well as
simply packaged non-sterile pack formats.
Each box contains 250-500 Pastettes®
(depending on product line).
Sterile inner packs of 20’s, 10’s or single wrap Pastettes® combine the
security of aseptic transfers with the economy of use that suits your needs.
Pastettes® are also available for custom requirements. Call Alpha
Laboratories to discuss your specific design and packaging solutions.

Selecting the right
Pastette® for your needs.
■ Length
Unless otherwise indicated Pastette® illustrations are shown as ‘life-size’. From
the shortest (36mm) to the longest (300mm), you can select the length that
allows you to reach into deep vessels or delicately draw fluid from small wells.
■ Bulb Draw
Each Pastette® in the range is shown with the maximum liquid volume that
can be drawn in a single transfer allowing you to select the one most
suitable to your typical volume transfers.
■ Tip Design
Alternative tip sizes allow you to choose smaller drop sizes in a variety of tip
lengths, where work with small volumes and delicate applications is critical.
Wide bore designs are ideal for viscous fluids or whole cells reducing
shearing to a minimum.
■ Drop Volume
All Pastettes® are accurate to ±10% of the stated specification allowing you
to deliver µl drops of known volumes.
Sterile Pastettes® are irradiated at 12.5
KGy to ensure sterility.

Dual-Bulb Pastettes are designed to dispense a known
volume of liquid. Simply squeeze the upper bulb to fill, and
Paddle Pastettes® allow you to dispense reagents onto slides
followed by mixing using the opposite end of the Pastette®.
Ideal for latex agglutination, pregnancy tests and blood
squeeze again to dispense the exact volume.
