Původ mexické kuchyně musíme hledat u Aztéků.
Mexická kuchyně se stala populární na celém světě. Je
to přitažlivá kuchyně s nejrůznějšími barvami, vůněmi,
kořením a exotickými chutěmi. Základ mnoha pokrmů
tvoří tortilla, placatý nekvašený chléb. Tortilly se dělají
z kukuřičné mouky a plní se masem, zeleninou, saláty
a sýrem. Pečou se na rozpálené mřížce. Mimo Mexiko
se často připravují z pšeničné mouky pro její dostupnost, což není případ restaurace Mexita, protože u nás
se všechny ingredience nakupují od přímého dovozce
z Mexika. Tortilly se dobře hodí k pálivým pokrmům
s chilli papričkami, sladkými paprikami, jarními cibulkami, šťávou z limetek nebo s česnekem.
Italská kuchyně je vyhlášená především těstovinami,
rybami, pečivem a zmrzlinou. Polévky v Itálii nejsou
příliš běžné, přesto snad každý zná nejtypičtější Minestrone – hustou zeleninovou polévku s těstovinami
a parmezánem. Italové dávají přednost prvnímu chodu –
těstovinám (pasta) na různé způsoby. V Itálii existuje asi
400 druhů těstovin různých tvarů a velikostí. Italové ve
velkém množství konzumují zeleninu, ať už čerstvou,
pečenou, grilovanou nebo marinovanou. Nesmíme zapomenout zmínit nepřeberné množství sýrů od parmezánu přes polotvrdé po měkké. Typickou chuť dodávají
pokrmům nakládané olivy a kapary. K italskému jídlu
neodmyslitelně patří dobré víno a výborné espresso.

We must look for the origins of Mexican cuisine among the
Aztecs. Mexican cooking has become popular all over the world.
It is an attractive cuisine with a superbly varied range of colours,
fragrances, spices and exotic flavours. The basis for many dishes
is the tortilla – flat unleavened bread. Tortillas are made from
corn flour and filled with meat, vegetables, salads and cheese.
They are baked on a hot grid. Outside of Mexico, they are often
prepared from wheat flour, because of its availability. This is
not the case in the Mexita restaurant, because all ingredients
in our establishment are purchased from an importer direct
from Mexico. Tortillas go well with hot dishes containing chilli
peppers, sweet peppers, spring onions, limejuice or garlic.
Italien cuisine is famous for pasta, fish, bread and ice cream.
Italiener are not very used to eat soups, but everybody knows
the most typical italien soup Minestrone – vegetable pottage
with pasta and parmesan. Italiener prefer to eat pasta in different
ways instead of soup. There are about 400 kinds of pasta of
all shapes and sizes. In Italy people like to eat great deal of
vegetable: fresh, baked, grilled or marinated, and a lot of cheese
from Parmesan to gentle cheese. Pickled olives and capars make
the tradicional taste. To every italian meal belongs good wine
and a great espresso.

Der Ursprung der mexikanischen Küche geht bis zu den Azteken
zurück. Diese weltweit beliebt gewordene Küche zeichnet sich
durch die verschiedensten Farben, Aromen, Gewürze und
exotische Geschmacksrichtungen aus. Grundlage vieler Speisen
ist die Tortilla, ein ungesäuertes Fladenbrot. Der Teig wird aus
Maismehl zubereitet, mit Fleisch, Gemüse, Salaten und Käse
gefüllt und dann auf einem heißen Grill gebacken. Außerhalb
Mexikos wird die Tortilla häufig aus dem besser zugänglichen
Weizenmehl zubereitet, was jedoch nicht für unser Restaurant
Mexita gilt. Wir beziehen alle Zutaten direkt vom Direktimporteur
aus Mexiko. Tortillas eignen sich für scharfe Speisen mit Chili,
süßem Paprika, Frühlingszwiebeln, Limettensaft oder Knoblauch.

Gebäck und Eis bekannt. Die Suppen sind nicht gerade üblich,
doch kennt jeder Minestrone – typischen italienischen Eintopf mit
