Vážení příznivci modulární výstavby,
Dear fans of modular construction,
Sehr geehrte Freunde des Modularbaus,
na začátku letošního roku jsme si do našeho
poslání doplnili myšlenku ”Chceme obohatit svět”
a vizi doplnili o cíl “Stát se firmou
s nejspokojenějšími zaměstnanci”. Tyto dvě věty
asi nejlépe vyjadřují smysl naší každodenní
práce. Jak ale těchto cílů dosáhnout? Jedině
inovacemi a přijímáním výzev v podobě složitých
projektů a to i přes to, že tyto výzvy jsou plné
nástrah.
At the beginning of this year, we expanded our
company mission with the idea “We want to
enrich the world”, and to our vision we added
the goal “To become the company with the most
satisfied employees”. These two sentences perhaps
best describe the sense of our daily work. How
do we achieve these goals? Only by innovation
and accepting challenges in the form of complex
projects, despite them being full of issues to resolve.
Anfang diesen Jahres ergänzten wir unsere
Mission durch die Idee „Wir möchten die Welt
bereichern“ und die Vision durch das Ziel „Die
Firma mit den zufriedensten Angestellten“. Diese
zwei Ideen belegen am besten den Sinn unserer
täglichen Arbeit. Wie erreicht man allerdings
diese Ziele? Lediglich durch Innovationen und
Annahme komplexer Aufträge, die voller Herausforderungen sind.
KOMA nyní finišuje projekční práce pro zahájení
výroby a výstavby jedné z největších výzev
v podobě pavilonu České republiky na EXPO
v Miláně 2015. Přesto nezůstáváme „jen“
u tohoto projektu, v rámci dalších inovací
nabízíme našim zákazníkům zcela nový koncept
modulární architektury v podobě atypických
lichoběžníkových modulů CITY. Inovace
se odráží neustále i v popularizaci modulární
výstavby a podpoře kvalitních kulturně
vzdělávacích akcí, jako byl mezinárodní
filmový festival AFO v Olomouci. Nadále
pokračujeme v prověřené výstavbě sociálních
bytů v zahraničí a školských staveb v České
republice.
KOMA is now finishing the design for the
production and construction of one of our biggest
challenges yet - the Czech Republic’s pavilion at
the EXPO 2015 in Milan. However, in terms of
innovations we’ve got more than “just” this project.
We are offering our customers a brand new concept
of modular architecture in the form of atypical
trapezoid-shaped CITY modules. Innovations are
also constantly reflected in the popularization
of modular construction and the support for
quality cultural and educational events, such as
the AFO International Film Festival in Olomouc.
We continue in the proven construction of social
housing abroad and school buildings in the Czech
Republic.
Derzeit finalisiert KOMA die Projektarbeiten für
den Aufbau des Ausstellungspavillons der
Tschechischen Republik für die EXPO 2015 in
Mailand. Dies bleibt allerdings nicht unsere einzige Herausforderung, wir bieten unseren Kunden im Rahmen der weiteren Innovationen ein
brandneues Konzept der Modulararchitektur –
die atypischen Trapezmodule CITY. Die Innovationen spiegeln sich in unseren weiteren Projekten
wider: weiterhin unterstützen wir hochwertige
Kultur- und Bildungsveranstaltungen, z. B. das
internationale Filmfestival AFO in Olomouc, oder
setzen den Ausbau von Sozialwohnungen im
Ausland und Schulbauten in Tschechien fort.
Na závěr mi dovolte stále i opakovaně poděkovat

ve Wesselingu
Firma AMTRA se věnuje prodeji a pronájmu
obytných kontejnerů a proto pro své zaměstnance
vyžaduje kontejnerovou budovu, která bude
splňovat velmi vysoké nároky.
Vnější tvar budovy umožnil na 2. podlaží udělat
terasu a balkon z tropického dřeva. Všechna patra
budovy jsou zastřešena ocelovou střechou
s nosností 260kg/m2 (kvůli očekávané zimní zátěži)
a jsou společně s terasou a balkonem odvodněna
žlabem. Budova má celkem 3 obytná podlaží, 4.
podlaží slouží jako světlík pro prosvětlení vnitřní
části budovy a při požáru vytváří komínový efekt
pro odvod kouře, neboť ho snímá čidlo, které řídí
případné větrání budovy. Tento prostor, jenž je
umocněn průhledem skrz všechny podlaží, nemá
nejen praktický, ale také estetický přínos.
Pobočka ve Wesselingu také splňuje požární
odolnost F30, přičemž vnitřní schodiště dokonce
F90. Skladby podlah, stěn a stropů jsou kompletně
řešeny suchou výstavbou a jsou povrchově
upraveny. Vnitřní dispozice budovy byly řešeny
v úzké spolupráci se zástupci investora. Jedná se tak
vesměs o příjemně působící interiéry plné světla.

The AMTRA company sells and leases residential
containers and therefore required a container building for its employees meeting very high demands.
Die Firma AMTRA widmet sich dem Verkauf und
der Vermietung von Wohncontainern und benötigt
für ihre Angestellten ein Containergebäude, dass
ehrhohen Anforderungen gerecht werden muss.
The external shape of the house allowed for
building a terrace and a balcony of tropical wood.
The steel ceiling has a load-bearing capacity of 260
kg/m2 (to accommodate the expected winter load),
and, together with the terrace and the balcony, is
equipped with gutters. The building consists of
three occupied floors with a fourth floor used as the
skylight that brings daylight into the building and
lets the smoke escape in case of fire. The skylight is
equipped with a sensor operating the ventilation.
This area therefore has both practical and aesthetic
benefits.
The office in Wesseling also meets F30 fire safety
requirements; the interior staircase even reaches
F90 level. Floors, walls and ceilings in the building
are all built using dry technology and provided
with a surface finish. The interior layout of the
building was designed in close cooperation with
the investor’s representatives. The result is pleasant
interior space washed in light.
Die äußere Gestalt des Gebäudes ermöglichte es, in
der 2. Etage eine Terrasse und einen Balkon aus Tropenholz zu schaffen. Alle Etagen des Gebäudes sind
mit einem Stahldach einer Tragfähigkeit von 260 kg/m2
(wegen der erwarteten Schneelast) versehen, wobei das
Oberflächenwasser der Terrasse und des Balkon über
eine Regenrinne abgeleitet wird. Das Gebäude verfügt
insgesamt über 3 Büroetagen, die 4. Etage dient als
Dachkuppel zur Beleuchtung des inneren Gebäudeteils
und schafft im Falle eines Brandes einen Schornsteineffekt zur Rauchabführung, auf der Grundlage eines Sensors, der ggf. die Lüftung des Gebäudes steuert.
Die Zweigstelle in Wesseling erfüllt zudem die Brandschutzklasse F30 wobei das innere Treppenhaus
sogar der Klasse F90 gerecht wird. Die innere Aufteilung
und Gestaltung des Gebäudes wurden in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Vertretern des Investors erstellt. Es
handelt sich im gesamten um angenehm wirkende und
lichtdurchflutete Innenräume.

Unikátní obytné moduly
ve veřejném prostoru
Společnost KOMA rozvíjí koncept obytných
CITY modulů atypického lichoběžníkového
tvaru ve spolupráci s mladým oceňovaným
architektonickým studiem CHYBIK+KRISTOF AA,
přičemž studii zpracovala společnost art Echo.
„Původní myšlenkou bylo využít CITY moduly jako
způsob oživení vesnic. Proto jsme se rozhodli vytvořit
ze CITY modulů kombinovanou zastávku
s drobným prodejem.“ vysvětluje záměr studie
Martin Hart, marketingový ředitel KOMA.
Architekti Kristýna Šilhánová a Jaroslav Sládeček
ze společnosti art Echo tedy vytvořili zastávku tak,
aby byla atraktivní nejen pro cestovatele, ale i pro
místní obyvatele. Spojili myšlenku pojízdných
prodejen, které mají na vesnici dlouhou tradici,
se zastávkou, jež bývá často umístěna na návsi –
v samém centru vsi. Zastávka tak může být
i prodejnou, kavárnou, pekařstvím, či trafikou
nebo květinářstvím - prostě jakýmkoliv drobným
prodejem. Architektonický koncept stojí na
propojení dvou kontejnerů a vytvoření prostoru
pro setkávání. „Chtěli jsme po vzoru Barcelony před
zastávku umístit několik pevně zabudovaných židlí
tak, aby si lidé mohli mezi sebou povídat,“
vysvětluje architektonické řešení Kristýna
Šilhánová.
CITY moduly však mohou skvěle sloužit také
jako kavárny, stánky s rychlým občerstvením,
pop-up restaurace či plážové bary. „Výhodou
modulů je jejich variabilita od samostatného
barového modulu s prodejem ven, až po poměrně
velikou kavárnu. Nemusí se jednat pouze o místo,
kde si koupíte kávu na cestě do práce, ale kde můžete
posedět, setkat se s přáteli a zastavit se,“ popisuje
variabilitu kavárny ze CITY modulů architektka
Šilhánová.
Díky tomuto záměru vznikla studie, která vychází
z možnosti samostatného použití jednotlivých
kontejnerů - barového, schodišťového a sanitárního.
Ty jsou potom volně kombinovány se sezením.
Koncept plnohodnotné kavárny je řešen jako
dvoupatrová budova s terasou. Centrální dispozice
umožňuje volné přidávání či ubírání modulů.
CITY moduly ze stáje KOMA nám tedy umožňují
pohlédnout na modulární výstavbu z jiné
perspektivy.
/ Unique residential modules
in a public space
In cooperation with the young and distinguished
architectural studio CHYBIK+KRISTOF AA, the
KOMA Company is developing the concept of trapezoid-shaped residential CITY modules. The study
was created by the art Echo Company.
“The original idea was to use CITY modules as a way
to liven up villages. That is why we have decided to
use CITY modules to create a combination of a bus
stop and a small shop,” Martin Hart, KOMA’s Marketing Director, explains the intention of the study.
Architects Kristýna Šilhánová and Jaroslav Sládeček from the art Echo Company designed the
stop in such a way as to make it attractive not only
for those waiting at the stop, but also for the local
residents. They combined the concept of traveling
shops, which have a long tradition in villages, and
a bus stop, often located right in the village square.
Thus, the stop can be used as a grocery shop, coffee
shop, bakery, newsstand or a flower shop - simply,
any kind of small shop. The architectural concept
is based on the combination of two containers and
a space for people to meet. “Inspired by Barcelona,
we wanted to place several fixed chairs in front of

the bus stop so that people could sit and talk to each
other,” Kristýna Šilhánová explains the architectural
solution.
CITY modules can also easily be used as cafés, fast
food stands, pop-up restaurants or beach bars. “The
advantage of the modules is the variability of their
use, from a stand-alone kiosk module selling through
a window to customers outside, to a full-scale coffee
shop. It doesn’t have to be just a place where you get
your coffee on the way to work, but somewhere you
can sit down and relax with your friends,” architect
Šilhánová describes the variability of a coffee shop
made up of CITY modules.
This plan gave rise to a study based on the possibility of independent use of an individual bar, stairs
and sanitary container modules. These are then
freely combined with the seating arrangement. The
concept of a full-fledged coffee shop is designed as
a 2-storey building with a patio. Its central layout
allows for free expansion or reduction of the modules. KOMA’s CITY modules thus allow us to view
modular construction from a different perspective.

Trapezmodule CITY in Zusammenarbeit mit
dem Architekturbüro Chybík+Krištof. Die
architektonische Studie wurde von der Agentur
art Echo erarbeitet.
„Die ursprüngliche Idee war, Dörfer mit CITY
Modulen zu beleben. Wir haben uns daher
entschlossen, Bushaltestelle mit Verkaufsstelle als
Modul zu kombinieren.“ Die Architekten Kristýna
Šilhánová und Jaroslav Sládeček aus art Echo
entwarfen eine attraktive Bushaltestelle nicht nur
für Reisende, sondern auch für die Anwohner. Sie
kombinierten die Funktion der Fahrverkaufsstelle
die in Dörfern eine lange Tradition haben, mit
einer der der Bushaltestelle die sich oft direkt am
Dorfplatz befinden. Die Bushaltestelle kann ein
Geschäft, eine Bäckerei, ein Blumenladen oder
einen Tabakladen sein. Dieses Konzept basiert
auf der Verbindung zweier Container und der
Schaffung eines Raumes, wo sich Leute treffen.
„So wie in Barcelona: , auch hier wollten wir einige vor
der Haltestelle festinstallierte Sitze so platzieren,
dass die Leute eine Möglichkeit haben, sich zusammen
zu setzen und sich zu unterhalten,“ erklärt Kristýna
Šilhánová.
CITY Module dienen hervorragend auch als Cafés,
Imbissstände, Pop-up Restaurants oder Beach Bars.
„Ihre Variabilität erstreckt sich von einfachen BarModulen mit Außenverkauf bis zu einem großzügigen
Café. Es mag nicht nur eine Stelle sein, wo Sie einen
Kaffee auf dem Weg zur Arbeit holen, sondern auch
ein gemütlicher Treffpunk unter Freunden, der zum
Aufhalten einlädt.“ beschreibt die Architektin die
Variabilität der CITY Module.
Dank diesem Ansatz entstand ein Konzept der
unabhängigen Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
der einzelnen Container – als Bar, Treppe oder
Sanitätsanlage. Diese können dann frei mit Sitzen
kombiniert werden. Das Café-Konzept wird
als zweistöckiges Gebäude mit Terrasse gelöst.
Die Zentraldisposition ermöglicht einen freien
Modulanschluss oder -abbau.
CITY Module ermöglichen so den Modularbau aus
einer anderen Perspektive zu betrachten.

KOMA neustále hledá způsoby, jak modulární
výstavbou oživit veřejný prostor a to zejména
stavbami, které mají dočasný charakter, neboť
to je klíčová výhoda modulární výstavby. Takovou
příležitost našla u prestižního mezinárodního
filmového festivalu populárně-vědeckých filmů
AFO v Olomouci.
V případě festivalu AFO se skloubily dva zájmy,
které KOMA dlouhodobě prosazuje: podpora
společensky přínosných kulturních a neziskových
aktivit a popularizace modulární výstavby. Proto
KOMA festivalu AFO bezplatně vypracovala
projekt a výhodně zapůjčila sestavu kontejnerů,
která funguje jako letní kino v historickém centru
krásného Horního náměstí v Olomouci.
V rámci festivalu AFO však nezůstalo „jen“ u dodání
letního kina. Díky spolupráci s festivalem, který
popularizuje vědu a inovace, vystoupil v rámci
doprovodného programu marketingový ředitel
KOMA s přednáškou o historii, možnostech
i současnosti modulární architektury. „Když nás
organizátoři festivalu požádali o spolupráci, bylo
mi jasné, že se jedná o ideální příležitost, jak široké
veřejnosti prezentovat modulární výstavbu.
Přesto mě překvapilo, že festivalu nešlo jen o finanční
pomoc, ale že je téma modulární architektury
také velmi zajímalo, přičemž mi nabídli možnost
přednášky. Musím říci, že jsem měl původně obavy,
kolik lidí bude tato přednáška zajímat, nakonec jsem
byl překvapen, že jich bylo více než čtyřicet. I to mne
opět přesvědčilo, že podpora takových projektů, jako
je festival AFO, má skutečně smysl,“ popisuje
spolupráci s festivalem Martin Hart, marketingový
ředitel KOMA.
Martin Hart se v přednášce věnoval historii
modulární architektury a zásadním milníkům,
které posouvaly modulární výstavbu kupředu.
V prezentaci Martin Hart demonstroval na
pozadí světové i tuzemské modulární architektury
vlastnosti, které výstavbu pomocí modulů
definují. Na závěr přiblížil návštěvníkům
festivalu desítku špičkových příkladů
modulárních architektonických skvostů,
které jsou ve světě k dohledání. Po oficiální
prezentaci diskutoval s účastníky nad knihami
I love Module.
KOMA is constantly looking for ways to liven up
public space with modular architecture, particularly
with structures of a temporary nature, as this is the
key advantage of modular construction. One such
opportunity was the prestigious AFO International
Festival of popular science films in Olomouc.
The AFO Festival saw the combination of two interests that KOMA has long been promoting: support
for socially beneficial cultural and non-profit activities, and the popularization of modular construction. That is why KOMA created a design for the
cinema and lent a container set to the AFO Festival
free of charge. The building is being currently used
as a summer cinema on Olomouc’s Upper Square.
The cooperation with the AFO Festival went beyond
“merely” supplying the summer cinema. During the
festival, which is aimed at popularizing science and
innovations, as part of the accompanying program,
KOMA’s Marketing Director gave a presentation on
the history, possibilities and the present of modular
architecture. “When the organizers of the festival
asked us for cooperation, it was clear to me that it was
an ideal opportunity to present modular construction
to the general public. Still, I was surprised that the
festival was not interested solely in financial aid, but
that they were very much interested in the topic of
modular architecture, offering us the possibility to
give a presentation. At first I was a little apprehensive
about how many people would be interested
in this lecture, but in the end I was pleasantly surprised to see an audience of more than forty. Once again,
this convinced me that supporting projects like the
AFO Festival does make sense,” Martin Hart, KOMA’s
Marketing Director, describes the cooperation with
the festival.
In his presentation, Martin Hart spoke about the
history of modular architecture and the fundamental milestones in its advancement. In the presentation, Martin Hart demonstrated, in a background
of both world and Czech modular architecture, the
properties that define modular construction. He
concluded the presentation by showing visitors to
the festival ten examples of the world’s jewels of
modular architecture. Following the official presentation, Martin Hart engaged in a discussion with the
attendees on the book I Love Module.
KOMA sucht ständig neue Formen, wie man
den öffentlichen Raum belebt, insbesondere
mit provisorischen Konstruktionen, da diese
Eigenschaft den Vorteil des Modularbaus
bildet. Ein solcher Anlass ergab sich während
des internationalen Filmfestivals AFO
in Olomouc.
Bei dieser Veranstaltung hatte KOMA die
Gelegenheit, beide ihrer langfristigen Interessen zu
verbinden: die Unterstützung von gesellschaftlich
nützlichen, kulturellen und gemeinnützigen
Aktivitäten sowie die Verbreitung des
Modularaufbaus. KOMA trug zu dem Festival
mit einem kostenfreien Projekt bei: sie stellte ein
Container-Satz als Sommerkino im historischen
Zentrum der Stadt zur Verfügung.
Weil das Festival AFO auch die Wissenschaft
und Innovation fördert, hält Martin Hart,
Marketingdirektor der Firma, im Rahmen
des Begleitprogramms einen Vortrag über
Geschichte, Möglichkeiten und Gegenwart des
Modularbaus. „Als wir vom Festivalveranstalter um
Zusammenarbeit gebeten wurden, war mir sofort
klar, dass es sich um eine einzigartige Gelegenheit
handelt, der Öffentlichkeit den Modularbau
vorzustellen. Es ging den Veranstaltern nämlich
nicht nur um eine finanzielle Unterstützung,
sondern sie interessierten sich auch für unsere
Architektur und boten die Möglichkeit, einen Vortrag
zu halten. Ich hatte natürlich Bedenken, wie viele
Leute so ein Thema interessieren wird. Ich war
sehr überrascht, als am Ende mehr als 40 Zuhörer
kamen. Das hat mich wieder überzeugt, dass eine
Unterstützung von Projekten wie dem
AFO Festival Sinn macht,“ beschreibt Martin Hart
die Zusammenarbeit.
Er deutete in seinem Vortrag die Geschichte der
Modulararchitekur und einzelne Meilensteine
des Modularbaus an. Vor dem Hintergrund der
Welt- und Inlandsmodulararchitektur zeigte er
ihre Eigenschaften, die sie definieren. Am Ende des
Vortrages stellte Hart einige weltweite Top-Beispiele
der Modulararchitektur vor. Danach folgte eine
Diskussion mit dem Auditorium über das Buch
„I love Module“.

Vedení hotelu Absolutum se rozhodlo, že své
prostory zatraktivní o moderní konferenční
místnost pro 60 lidí, se špičkovým audiovizuálním
vybavením i mobilní protihlukovou příčkou. To
ovšem vedení hotelu netušilo, že parcela, kde je
přístavba umístěna, je nad trasou metra a je na
ni uvalena stavební uzávěra.
Proto se začala hledat ideální alternativa výstavby
tak, aby splnila estetické i technické požadavky
návrhu architekta Krčmárika. Pro svoji variabilitu,
tiché, nenáročné a rychlé řešení, padla volba na
modulární výstavbu. Řešení bylo svěřeno
obchodnímu a technickému oddělení společnosti
KOMA, která stavbu realizovala. „Modulární
výstavba
byla v podstatě jediným řešením, neboť mimo jiné má
přístavba v podlaze přístup do šachty metra,
a kdyby se jednalo o nějaké zásadní problémy, je
možné stavbu během jednoho dne rozebrat
a umožnit tak neomezený přístup do metra. Jen díky
modulární výstavbě magistrát hlavního města Prahy
stavbu povolil.“, vysvětluje Karel Kolínský, vedoucí
obchodního oddělení KOMA pro Českou republiku.
Jsme hrdi na to, že modulární KOMA výstavba
dokáže reagovat na jakýkoliv problém.
The management of the Absolutum Hotel decided
to add a modern conference room with a seating
capacity of 60, equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and a mobile sound-proof partition. However, the hotel’s management had no idea
that a construction ban had been imposed on the
plot where the addition was to be constructed, as it is
above a metro line.

Die Geschäftsleitung des Hotels Absolutum
beschloss, ihre Hotelräume zu erweitern und
einen neuen Konferenzsaal für 60 Leute mit
modernster audiovisueller Ausstattung und einer
Lärmschutztrennwand anzubauen. Sie wusste
damals allerdings nicht, dass das Grundstück direkt
über der U-Bahn mit einer Bausperre liegt.
As a result, an alternative solution was sought which
would meet the aesthetic as well as technical requirements of architect Krčmárik’s plans. Due to its variability and the speed and ease of its solution, the choice
was made to use modular construction. The Sales
and Technical departments of the KOMA Company
were tasked with coming up with a solution. “Modular
construction was basically the only solution, because
among other things the floor of the annex allows access
to the metro’s underground shaft, and if there were any
major problems, within one day the building could be
disassembled to allow unlimited access to the metro line.
It was only thanks to the use of a modular construction
that the municipality of the city of Prague approved
the building,” explains Karel Kolínský, KOMA’s Sales
Manager for the Czech Republic.
Deshalb suchte man Lösungen, welche die
ästhetischen sowie technischen Anforderungen
des Projektes von Architekt Krčmárik erfüllen.

Zugang in die U-Bahn zu ermöglichen. Nur Dank des
Modularausbaus wurde der Hotelanbau vom Rathaus
der Hauptstadt genehmigt,“ erklärt Karel Kolínský,

Not only as it is the creator of the Czech Republic’s
modular pavilion at the EXPO 2015 in Milan, but
also because of its reputation, awards and the construction of modular buildings, particularly schools,
the plant of the KOMA Company was visited by the
Czech Premier, Bohuslav Sobotka, 1st Vice-President
of the Czech Senate, Alena Gajdůšková, and
Governor of the Zlín Region, Stanislav Mišák.

Republik Bohuslav Sobotka besuchte in Begleitung der 1. stellvertretenden Senatsvorsitzenden
des Parlaments der Tschechischen Republik Alena
Gajdůšková und des Hauptmannes der Zlín Region
die Gesellschaft KOMA. Anlass war nicht nur die
Tatsache, dass KOMA den Ausstellungspavillon für
die EXPO 2015 in Mailand realisiert, sondern auch
die Auszeichnungen und der gute Ruf, welche die
Firma vor allem im Bereich des Aufbaus von Schulbauten hat.

plant, showing them around the production halls
and the state-of-the-art modular multi-purpose facility on the company’s premises, which serves mainly as a lounge and cafeteria for KOMA’s employees.
The visit continued with a debate about modular
construction as an ideal and immediate solution
to the lack of school buildings, a topic which has
recently resonated in the Czech Republic, with politicians gradually starting to understand the advantages of modular construction.
The KOMA Company was very pleased with such
a valuable visit, which it views as recognition of its
activity.

Modularbau als optimale Lösung des Schulbaumangels. Dieses Thema wird derzeit in der Tschechischen Republik wieder aktuell und die Politiker beginnen, die konkurrenzlosen Vorteile der
Modulararchitektur zu erkennen. KOMA freut sich
über diesen seltenen Besuch, der als Auszeichnung
seiner Tätigkeit gesehen wird.

EXPO 2015 v Miláně se pomalu blíží. I proto se 12.
5. 2014 uskutečnila tisková konference k zahájení
výstavy IMPRESSIONI BOEME ALL’EXPO –
La Repubblica Ceca ad Expo 2015 za přítomnosti
české delegace, tisku a italské televize. Za realizátora
výstavby českého pavilonu se zúčastnil ředitel
KOMA Stanislav Martinec, architekti Ondřej Chybík
a Michal Krištof, ředitel logistiky společnosti
KOMA Ladislav Slámečka a vedoucí investic
Petr Chval. Návštěvu Milána zástupci KOMA využili
k obhlídce pozemku, kde bude český pavilon
postaven, neboť termín otevření Expa 2015 je
stanoven na 1. 5. 2015.
The construction of the modular pavilion for EXPO
2015 in Milan is slowly approaching, and also for
this reason, on May 12, 2014, a press conference was
held to open an exhibition called IMPRESSIONI
BOEME ALL’EXPO – La Repubblica Ceca ad Expo
2015, with the participation of a Czech delegation,
the press and Italian TV. On behalf of the creator
of the Czech pavilion, the event was attended by
KOMA’s Managing Director, Stanislav Martinec,
architects Ondřej Chybik and Michal Krištof,
KOMA’s Logistics Director, Ladislav Slámečka, and
Investment Manager, Petr Chval. The visit to Milan
was also a chance to see the plot where the Czech
pavilion is to be built, as the EXPO 2015 is to start
on May 1, 2015.
Der Aufbau des tschechischen Ausstellungspavillons EXPO 2015 in Mailand nähert sich. Deswegen
fand am 12. Mai 2014 in Anwesenheit der tschechischen Delegation, der Presse und des italienischen
Fernsehens eine Pressekonferenz zum Auftakt der
Ausstellung IMPRESSIONI BOEME ALL’EXPO –
La Repubblica Ceca ad Expo 2015 statt. Als Hersteller des Pavillons nahmen KOMA Direktor

Die tschechischen Vertreter nutzen den Besuch zur
Besichtigung des Grundstückes, wo der tschechische
Pavillon zukünftig stehen soll. Die EXPO-Eröffnung
ist für den 1. Mai 2015 geplant.

Po velmi úspěšném uvedení CITY modulů
v Brně se tentokrát byly uzavřené prototypy CITY
Modulů uvedeny v Ostravě na akci s názvem
Herzlich Willkommen. Do projektu je zapojeno
na šest států a v každém z nich se na několik dnů
postaví sestava dvou CITY modulů, která je
v interiéru rozdělena na šest samostatných kójí.
V každé z nich pak zástupce jednoho etnika
přibližuje domácím, jaké to je být cizincem.
KOMA je velmi ráda, že mohla sponzorsky pomoci
akci tím, že dodala zdarma dle přání organizátorů
dva CITY moduly, které nejen že oživily města
po celé Evropě, ale tamním obyvatelům také
rozšířily obzory.
Following the successful launch of the CITY
modules in Brno, the enclosed prototypes of CITY
modules were introduced in Ostrava at an event
called Herzlich Willkommen. The project involves
six countries, in each of which a set of two CITY
modules will be built for several days. The modules’
interior is divided into six separate compartments,
in each of which a representative of one ethnicity
tells local visitors what it’s like to be a foreigner.
KOMA is very pleased that it could sponsor the
event by lending for free two CITY modules, which
not only livened up cities throughout Europe, but
also broadened their residents’ horizons.
Nach der erfolgreichen Einführung der CITY
Module in Brünn wurden dieses Mal geschlossene
CITY Prototypen in Ostrava auf der Veranstaltung
„Herzlich willkommen“ präsentiert. An dem Projekt
nehmen 6 Länder teil und die Vertreter dieser Ländern bringen den Besuchern nahe, wie man sich als
Ausländer fühlt.

Modulární KOMA architektura je velmi vhodná do
městské zástavby také v rovině drobných staveb.
Jeden z příkladů je mimo jiné minimalistický
modulární objekt, jenž bude sloužit jako zázemí
pro půjčovnu aut Speed lease - SIXT a zázemí
pro hlídku přilehlého parkoviště VINCI. Stavba
byla kvůli její poloze u pražské dopravní tepny
(Wilsonova ulice) a frekventovanému parkovišti
instalována v noci mezi třetí a pátou hodinou. Jsme
potěšeni, že klienti zvolili jako opláštění plech, který
odkazuje na kontejnerový původ a to v decentní
antracitové barvě. Interiér je pak kontrastně
řešen zářivými barvami. Celá budova tedy působí
moderním designovým dojmem, kdy exteriér bude
v příjemném napětí s interiérem.
KOMA modular architecture is very suitable for
use in urban areas also in the category of small
buildings. One example is a minimalist modular
structure that is to be used as a Speed lease - SIXT
car rental office and a facility for guards of the
adjoining VINCI parking lot. Due to its location
right by one of Prague’s thoroughfares (Wilsonova
Street) and the busy parking lot, the construction
was installed between 3 and 5 in the morning. We
are pleased that the clients chose an unobtrusive
anthracite sheet metal cladding, which reveals the
container origin of the structure. In contrast, the
interior features bright colors. Thus, the entire building gives the impression of a modern design, with
the exterior a pleasant contrast to the interior.

KOMA dodává modulární lehce přenositelné
drobné prodejny pro významného tuzemského
výrobce a dodavatele kvalitního pečiva SvobodaBřezík. První modulární prodejna byla postavena
přímo u pekárny a částečně také slouží jako
zázemí pro strážní službu. V současné době
KOMA a Svoboda-Březník rozvíjí síť 24 vlastních
prodejen, které jsou zásobovány výhradně pečivem
zmiňované pekárny. Jedním z důvodů této aktivity
je zajištění co nejvyšší kulturnosti prodeje výrobků
tak, aby nakupování pečiva bylo příjemné a mělo
úroveň. Modulární prodejny tedy dokáží nejen
nabídnout čerstvé pečivo tam, kde je potřeba, ale
nabízí i příjemný prostor k jeho konzumaci.
KOMA is the supplier of small modular mobile
shops for a major Czech producer of quality baked
goods, Svoboda-Březík. The first modular shop was
built right next to the bakery, and is also partly used
as a gatehouse by the plant security. KOMA and
Svoboda-Březík are currently developing a network
of 24 shops that will exclusively carry Svoboda-Březík’s goods. One of the reasons for this activity is
ensuring the highest level of sales of the goods and a
pleasant shopping experience for customers. Modular shops not only offer the chance to buy fresh baked goods, but also feature a pleasant environment
for their consumption.
KOMA liefert leichte, übertragbare Verkaufsstellen
für den wichtigen einheimischen Qualitätsbackwarenhersteller Svoboda-Březík. Die erste
Verkaufsstelle wurde direkt an der Bäckerei gebaut
und dient teilweise als Wachstube. Derzeit entwickelt KOMA und die Firma Svoboda-Březík eine Kooperation – ein Netz von 24 eigenen Verkaufsstellen
für ausschließlich eigenem Gebäck. Hauptzweck dafür ist die Sicherung eines hohen Verkaufsniveaus,
bei welchem nicht nur das Gebäck ansprechend
präsentiert wird, sondern auch eine angenehme
Einkaufsatmosphäre entsteht. Modularbauten
können all dies liefern!

Jednoduchá a vysoce efektivní modulární
výstavba nachází uplatnění zejména u realizací,
které mají dočasný charakter. Mezi ně patří
i vybudování zázemí u ledního kluziště v hlavním
městě České republiky v Praze na Pankráci
u obchodního centra Arkády. U tohoto druhu
realizací je dočasnost stavby nejen žádoucí, ale také
základní potřebou. Je jasné, že u staveb na několik
týdnů je upozaděno estetické hledisko, přesto i zde
je nutné říci, že „není kontejner, jako kontejner“.
Kvalita provedení je potřeba i u těchto realizací
a proto zázemí pro lední kluziště na Pankráci
zajistila společnost KOMA Rent, která při instalaci
lpí na každém detailu
An easy and highly effective modular construction
finds use mainly in structures with a temporary
nature. One such project is the construction of
a facility by the skating rink at the Arkáda shopping
mall in the capital city Prague. The temporary
character of such buildings is not only desirable, but
also a necessity. Although the aesthetic demands
placed on buildings intended for only several weeks
of use aren‘t as high, it needs to be said that not
every container-based building looks the same.
Quality workmanship is necessary even in such
realizations, which is why the construction of the
skating rink facility was entrusted to the KOMA
Rent Company, which pays attention to every detail
during the installation.
Der einfache und hoch effektive Modularbau
findet vor allem Anwendung bei provisorischen
Anlagen. Dazu gehört z. B. die Schlittschuhbahnanlage am Einkaufszentrum Arkády in Prag 4,
ein Bautypus mit gewünscht temporärem
Charakter. Bei solchen provisorischen Bauten
wird oft nicht nach dem ästhetischen Eindruck
geschaut – allerdings muss man zugeben, „es ist
nicht ein Container wie jeder Andere“. Die
Ausführungsqualität muss auch hier stimmen.
Deshalb wurde die Anlage von KOMA Rent ,
die auf präzise, detaillierte Arbeit fokussiert ist,
geliefert.

Die KOMA Modulararchitektur ist sehr geeignet für
die Stadtbebauung, besonders für kleine Gebäude.
Ein Beispiel dafür ist die minimalistische Anlage
der Autovermietung Speed Lease – SIXT und für
die Parkplatzüberwachung VINCI. Der Bau wurde aufgrund der exponierten Lage zwischen der
Hauptverkehrsader Wilsonova Straße und dem
vielgenutzten Parkplatz nachts zwischen 03:00 und
05:00 Uhr aufgestellt. Der Kunde wählte eine dezente anthrazitfarbene Blechverkleidung. Die Innenausstattung dagegen ist in strahlenden Kontrastfarben
ausgeführt. Das ganze Gebäude wirkt sehr modern
und frisch, die Außen- und Innenausstattung spielt
in einer angenehmen Spannung miteinander.
V rámci soutěže Stavba roku Zlínského kraje
České republiky byla udělena celá řada ocenění,
ale jen jedna stavba získala cenu Syndikátu
novinářů. Jednalo se o nízkoenergetickou
modulární mateřskou školku ze stáje KOMA pro
společnost Lapp Kabel. Společnost KOMA, která
dlouhodobě propaguje modulární architekturu
jako jedinečnou a vysoce efektivní plnohodnotnou
formu výstavby, si právě této ceny velmi považuje,
neboť ocenění nezávislými novináři dokazuje,
jaký potenciál má modulární architektura a firma
KOMA pro širokou veřejnost. Děkujeme Syndikátu
novinářů Zlínského kraje a toto ocenění přijímáme
jako závazek do budoucích let.
A number of awards were presented at the Building
of the Year in the Zlín Region competition. However,
only one building was recognised by the Syndicate
of Journalists. The award-winning structure was
KOMA’s low-energy modular kindergarten built
for the Lapp Kabel Company. The KOMA Company,
which has long been promoting modular architecture as a unique and highly effective, fully-fledged type of construction, values this award highly,
as the award bestowed by the journalists proves
what potential modular architecture and the KOMA
Company has for the general public. We would like
to thank the Syndicate of Journalists of the Zlín
Region for this award, which we view as a commitment for the future.
Im Rahmen des Wettbewerbes „Bau des Jahres“
in der Zlín Region wurden eine ganze Reihe von
Auszeichnungen verliehen, jedoch nur ein Bau
gewann die des Journalistenverband Es handelte
sich um den energiesparenden KOMA Kindergarten
für Lapp Kabel. KOMA, welche die Modulararchitektur als einzigartige und hoch effektive Bauform
langfristig vermarktet, schätzt diesen Preis sehr,
beweist doch die Auszeichnung von unabhängigen
Pressevertretern, was für ein Potenzial die
Modulararchitektur für Öffentlichkeit hat. Wir
danken herzlich dem Journalistenverband der Zlín
Region und sehen diese Auszeichnung als
Verpflichtung für die Zukunft.
