1.5 Installation
Huawei G620S-L01/L02/L03 phones support micro-SIM cards. To replace or purchase a
micro-SIM card, contact your service provider.
Huawei G620S-L01/L02/L03 phones support a single micro-SIM card and microSD cards.
Install a phone as shown in Figure 1-1. After the installation, press and hold the Power key to
power it on.
Before replacing a microSD card, it is advisable to uninstall the microSD card by choosing
Settings > Storage.

1.6 Home Screen

On the home screen, pinch your fingers together to display the thumbnails.

Huawei G620S-L01/L02/L03 phones only support the 2D home screen.
1.6.2 Application List
With Huawei Emotion UI, Huawei G620S-L01/L02/L03 phones have four idle screens by
default. You can flick left or right to switch among them. You can create shortcuts for
applications and widgets on the Home screen, and touch an icon to open its corresponding
application or widget.
After the phone starts up, four screens from top to bottom are as follows:

Dock area (for placing installed application shortcuts)

Widget area and shortcut icons on the home screen

Application icons on the home screen

Application icons on the home screen
Home screen elements include application shortcuts and widgets. To create a folder, drag an
application icon onto another shortcut icon position. A folder containing both applications is
then created.

Touch and hold a shortcut or widget to edit it. You can drag shortcuts and widgets to change
their positions or to the trash bin icon to uninstall them.
The key system applications cannot be uninstalled.
1.6.4 How do I add a shortcut to the home screen?
Touch the menu key to display widgets. Touch and hold an icon and drag it to a blank area on
the home screen.

Assigning a photo to a contact
You cannot assign a photo to a contact saved on the micro-SIM card.

Talkback is an application designed for the blind and visually impaired to better use the
mobile phone. In Talkback mode, the original touch operation is broken down into two steps:

3.1 How do I save battery power?

When you are not using the phone, press the power key to turn off the screen.

