EN Most top European teams feature
a cosmopolitan mix of players of different origins,
backgrounds and religions. We are all very proud
of the diversity within our teams – it is one of the
great strengths of European competitions. Every
top footballer would agree on how important it is
to have team-mates you can rely on, that are
capable of playing that key pass, winning a vital
tackle and finding holes in the opposition’s
defence. The origin of your team-mates doesn’t
come into it. Football is a universal language. UEFA has always been
absolutely clear in its stance: there is no place for racism or violence. For
years we have been campaigning actively for tolerance and respect in
football. Our action weeks against racism are a great success, as are the
excellent projects organised by the national and regional associations. It is
very important to us to get children and young people to champion respect
and tolerance. Youngsters know nothing of racism. They are open to and
fascinated by other cultures and playing with children of different origins.
This is why UEFA supports initiatives such as the German-Czech football
school, which promotes cross-border understanding. We welcome
international football events such as the MINI EURO. This tournament
sends out a strong signal for tolerance, with promising teams from
11 nations meeting at what was once the Iron Curtain, to compete on the
pitch, gather unique cultural experiences and make friendships that extend
across national boundaries. UEFA is delighted to be teaming up once again
with the Bavarian and Czech football associations as patrons of the MINI
EURO. We would like to thank all those who have helped make this special
tournament a success and hope that all the children and supporters enjoy
an exciting time in the spirit of fair play.
DE Die meisten europäischen Spitzenmannschaften bestehen aus einer
kosmopolitischen Mischung aus Sportlern unterschiedlicher Abstammung,
Herkunft und Religion. Wir alle sind stolz auf die Vielfalt in unseren Teams,
sie ist eine der Stärken der europäischen Wettbewerbe. Jeder
Spitzenfussballer wird zustimmen, dass es wichtig ist, Mannschaftskameraden zu haben, auf die man sich verlassen kann, die in der Lage
sind, den entscheidenden Pass zu spielen, einen wichtigen Zweikampf zu
gewinnen und die Lücke in der Abwehr des Gegners zu finden. Die
Herkunft der Mannschaftskameraden spielt dabei keine Rolle. Denn
Fussball ist eine universelle Sprache. Die UEFA war in ihrer Haltung stets
unmissverständlich: Rassismus und Gewalt dürfen keine Chance haben.
Seit Jahren engagieren wir uns aktiv für Toleranz und Respekt im Fussball.
Unsere Aktionswochen gegen Rassismus sind ein grosser Erfolg, ebenso
wie die hervorragenden Projekte der nationalen und regionalen Verbände.
Besonders wichtig ist es uns, schon Kinder und Jugendliche für mehr
Respekt und Toleranz zu begeistern. Unseren Jüngsten ist Rassismus
fremd. Sie sind offen für und neugierig auf die Begegnung mit anderen
Kulturen, das Spiel mit Menschen anderer Herkunft.

CZ Kádr většiny špičkových evropských mužstev se skládá z kosmopolitní
směsice sportovců nejrůznějšího původu a náboženství. My všichni jsme
hrdí na rozmanitost v našich týmech, která je jednou ze silných stránek
evropských soutěží. Každý špičkový fotbalista se mnou bude souhlasit, že je
důležité mít v mužstvu kamarády, na které se člověk může spolehnout,
kteří jsou schopni dát rozhodující přihrávku, vyhrát důležitý osobní souboj
a nalézt skulinu v soupeřově obraně. Původ kamarádů v týmu přitom
nehraje žádnou roli. Řeč fotbalu je totiž univerzálně srozumitelný jazyk.
Také UEFA byla ve svých postojích vždy naprosto srozumitelná: Rasismus
a násilí nesmí mít žádnou šanci. Již léta se aktivně zasazujeme o toleranci
a respekt ve fotbalu. Naše akční týdny proti rasismu mají velký úspěch,
stejně tak skvělé projekty realizované národními a regionálními svazy.
Obzvláště důležité je pro nás to, abychom pro větší míru respektu
a tolerance nadchli již děti a mládež. Našim nejmladším je rasismus cizí.
Jsou otevření a zvědavě vyhlížejí vstříc setkávání s jinými kulturami,
fotbalovým kláním s lidmi jiného původu.
UEFA proto podporuje iniciativy, jako je Česko-německá fotbalová škola,
která se zasazuje o přeshraniční porozumění. Vítáme mezinárodní svátky
fotbalu, jako je MINI ME. Tento turnaj dává jasný signál na podporu
tolerance, vždyť se při něm po obou stranách bývalé železné opony
setkávají renomované oddíly z 11 zemí, sportovně se mezi sebou
porovnávají, sbírají jednorázové kulturní zkušenosti a navazují přátelství
přesahující hranice států. UEFA společně s Bavorským a Českomoravským
fotbalovým svazem opět ráda přebírá záštitu nad MINI ME. Rádi bychom
poděkovali všem, kteří přispěli ke zdaru tohoto mimořádného turnaje,
a přejeme všem dětem a fanouškům dny plné zážitků v duchu fairplay.

DE Im Namen des Bayerischen FußballVerbandes (BFV) begrüße ich Sie sehr herzlich zur
MINI-EM 2008 der Deutsch-Tschechischen
Fußballschule (DTFS)! Durch die unermüdliche
Arbeit vieler ehrenamtlicher Helfer können wir
auch in diesem Jahr wieder ein grenzübergreifendes Fußballfest zusammen feiern. Dieses
Turnier ist mit hochkarätigen Spitzenteams aus
ganz Europa besetzt und stellt eine international
beachtenswerte Talentschau dar. Besonders freue
ich mich darüber, dass die diesjährige MINI-EM erneut unter dem Motto
„Gegen Rassismus und Gewalt“ durchgeführt wird. Es gibt keinen besseren
Slogan für diesen grenzüberschreitenden Wettkampf.
Im Fußball zählen vor allem Teamgeist und die sportliche Leistung Hautfarbe, Sprache oder die soziale Schicht sind keine trennenden
Elemente. Kinder kennen von Geburt an keine Vorurteile, sondern „lernen“
diese erst im Laufe Ihres Lebens durch äußere Einflüsse kennen. Die
schönen Erinnerungen an internationale Freunde und ein kameradschaftliches Miteinander in diesen Turniertagen helfen hoffentlich,
Rassismus oder Gewaltbereitschaft bei den teilnehmenden Jugendlichen
gar nicht erst entstehen zu lassen.
Die Austragung des Turniers, beiderseits in Tschechien und Deutschland,
bietet allen Gästen reizvolle Begegnungen, um europaweit Kontakte zu
knüpfen, neue Freundschaften zu schließen und eventuelle Vorurteile
abzubauen. Unter diesen Vorzeichen haben auch der BFV und der
Tschechische FV im Vorjahr eine Kooperation vertraglich besiegelt, die
bereits auf der Ebene des Spielbetriebs mit Leben erfüllt worden ist: Mit
einem Hallenturnier der Mädchen in Prag, dem ersten internationalen
Frauen-Futsalturnier des BFV in Maxhütte-Haidhof sowie als jüngsten
Höhepunkten zwei Begegnungen der Juniorenteams U16 von Bayern und
Tschechien in der Oberpfalz. Nach der sehr gelungenen Veranstaltung im
letzten Jahr hat der BFV gerne erneut gemeinsam mit dem Tschechischen
Fußball-Verband und der UEFA die Schirmherrschaft für die MINI-EM 2008
übernommen. Zum guten Gelingen stellen wir auch in diesem Jahr
qualifizierte Schiedsrichter und erstklassige Bälle zur Verfügung. Freuen
wir uns also gemeinsam auf ein hochklassiges Turnier mit spannenden
und fairen Spielen!
EN I would like to welcome you in the name of the Bavarian Football
Association to the MINI EURO 2008 of the Czecho-German Football School.
Thanks to the hard work of many volunteers we can again celebrate a great
cross-border football festival this year. This tournament is featuring topclass teams from all over Europe and marks an impressive international
talent exhibition. I am especially delighted that the MINI EURO again has
the motto “Against Racism and Violence”. There is no better motto for this
cross-border competition.
The tournament takes place in the Czech Republic and Germany and will
offer all guests the chance of meeting people from all over Europe, to
make new friends and to dismantle possible stereotypes. This was also the
reason why the Bavarian and the Czech FAs agreed on an official cooperation. The first matches and tournaments were already held: an indoor
tournament for girls in Prague, the first international women futsal
tournament in Maxhütte-Haidhof and two international caps with the Czech
and Bavarian U16s in the region of Oberpfalz. After the excellent MINI
EURO in the last year, the Bavarian FA is very glad to be patron of the MINI
EURO 2008 again in co-operation with the Czech FA and UEFA. Our
contribution to the success of this event will be qualified referees and firstclass balls for the games. Let us look forward to exciting and mainly fair
games.
CZ Jménem Bavorského fotbalového svazu (BFV) Vás srdečně vítám na
MINI ME 2008 pořádaném ČNFŠ! Díky neúnavné práci mnoha dobrovolných
pomocníků můžeme i v tomto roce opět společně oslavit přeshraniční
svátek fotbalu. Účastníky tohoto svátku jsou prestižní špičkové týmy z celé
Evropy, a turnaj tak představuje pozoruhodnou mezinárodní přehlídku
talentů. Obzvláště mne těší, že letošní Minimistrovství Evropy bude opět
probíhat pod heslem „Proti rasismu a násilí“. Neexistuje lepší slogan pro
toto přeshraniční sportovní zápolení.
Ve fotbale je důležitý především týmový duch a sportovní výkon – barva
kůže, jazyk nebo sociální původ zde nepředstavují žádné rozdělující prvky.
Děti nemají od narození žádné předsudky, nýbrž je „poznávají“ teprve
v průběhu svého života prostřednictvím vnějších vlivů. Krásné vzpomínky na
přátele ze zahraničí a kamarádské setkávání během tohoto turnaje
doufejme napomohou k tomu, aby rasismus a násilnictví v zúčastněných
mladých lidech vůbec nevzklíčily.
Konání turnaje na obou stranách hranice v Česku i Německu také přináší
všem hostům příležitost k podnětným setkáním, k získání kontaktů po celé
Evropě, k navázání nových přátelství a odbourání případných předsudků.
V tomto duchu také Bavorský fotbalový svaz a Českomoravský fotbalový
svaz v minulém roce smluvně stvrdily svou spolupráci, která již byla na
úrovni praktického sportování naplněna čilým životem: Turnajem dívek
v Praze, prvním mezinárodním futsalovým turnajem žen pod hlavičkou BFV
v Maxhütte-Haidhofu, jakož i nejaktuálnějšími vrcholy v podobě dvou
setkání mládežnických výběrů Česka a Bavorska do 16 let v Oberpfalz/
Horní Falci. Po velice zdařilé akci v loňském roce BFV společně
s Českomoravským fotbalovým svazem velice rád opět převzal záštitu nad
Minimistrovstvím Evropy 2008. V rámci své podpory dává BFV pro zdar
turnaje také v letošním roce k dispozici kvalifikované rozhodčí a prvotřídní
míče. Těšme se tedy společně na vynikající turnaj s napínavými a férovými
zápasy!

Team spirit and good skills are most important in football – skin colour,
language or social background are no dividing elements. Children do not
know any stereotypes when they are born, they get to “learn” them in the
course of their life through inputs from outside. The fond memories of
international friends and of the uniting spirit of this tournament will
hopefully help that our youngsters never think about racism and violence.

CZ Je pro mne velikým potěšením sledovat vývoj
turnaje, který svým rozměrem přesahuje více než
hranice dvou států. Minimistrovství Evropy není jen
měřením sil týmů z celého kontinentu, ale hlavně
velkou oslavou fotbalu. Mladí fotbalisté během
turnaje získávají další zkušenosti nejen na hřišti, ale
i při dalších aktivitách, které k turnaji patří. To jim
umožní rozvoj všech jejich schopnosti a dovedností,
ale napomůže i formovat jejich osobnost. A v rozvoji
osobnosti v přátelské atmosféře a při soubojích
vedených duchu fair-play vidím hlavní přínos tohoto turnaje. A je jedno, zda
z chlapců v budoucnu vyrostou profesionální fotbalisté nebo fotbal zůstane
pouze koníčkem, který je bude provázet ve volných chvílích.
Všem účastníkům přeji krásné chvíle prožité na hřišti i mimo něj.
DE Es ist eine große Freude für mich, die Entwicklung eines Turniers zu
verfolgen, das in seinem Umfang die Grenze von mehr als zwei Staaten
überschreitet. Die MINI-EM ist nicht nur ein Kräftemessen von Mannschaften aus ganz Europa, sondern vor allem ein großes Fußballfest. Die jungen
Fußballer sammeln im Laufe des Turniers neue Erfahrungen, nicht nur auf
dem Platz, sondern auch bei den Rahmenaktivitäten, die zum Turnier
gehören. Das ermöglicht ihnen die Weiterentwicklung ihrer Fähigkeiten
und Fertigkeiten, hilft ihnen aber auch bei der Persönlichkeitsbildung.
Gerade in der Persönlichkeitsentwicklung in freundschaftlicher Atmosphäre und im friedlichen Wettstreit im Geiste des Fairplay sehe ich den
Hauptbeitrag dieses Turniers. Und dabei ist es egal, ob aus den Jungs
später einmal Profifußballer werden oder der Fußball nur ein Hobby bleibt,
das sie in ihrer Freizeit ausüben.
Ich wünsche allen Teilnehmern schöne und erlebnisreiche Stunden auf und
neben dem Spielfeld!
EN It is a great pleasure for me to follow the development of a tournament which size is crossing the borders of more than two countries. The
MINI EM is not only a sports competition with teams coming from all over
Europe, but also a big football festival. The young football players are
gathering new experiences throughout the tournament, not only on the
pitch, but also beyond. This is developing their skills and abilities and helps
them forming their personality. In my opinion the main impact of the
tournament is that the children develop their personality in a friendly
atmosphere and the peaceful competition in the spirit of fairplay. And it
does not matter whether the boys later on will become professional
players or whether football will be only their hobby which they enjoy in
their leisure time.
DE Fußball – kein anderer Sport zieht weltweit
so viele Millionen Menschen in seinen Bann, kein
anderer Sport übt eine solche Faszination aus. Als
Mannschaftssport trägt Fußball dazu bei,
Qualitäten wie Teamgeist, Fairness und
Zusammenhalt zu fördern. Diese Werte sind
gerade in der heutigen Zeit für unsere
Jugendlichen von großer Bedeutung. Das Konzept
der Deutsch-Tschechischen Fußballschule hat
mich überzeugt. Besonders bei sportlichen
Wettkämpfen gilt mehr denn je die Devise: „Gemeinsam sind wir stark“.
Deshalb begeistert mich der Gedanke, die europäische Jugend im Rahmen
eines Fußball-Turniers zu vereinen, um so neben dem sportlichen
Miteinander auch fremde Kulturen kennen zu lernen. Die MINI-EM passt
hervorragend zu unserem Bestreben, herausragende Projekte in der
Region zu fördern. Ich wünsche allen jungen Sportlern viel Erfolg und vor
allem Spaß am Spiel.
CZ Fotbal – žádný jiný sport na světě neokouzluje tolik milionů lidí, žádný
jiný sport nevyvolává takovou fascinaci. Jako kolektivní sport přispívá fotbal
k podporování vlastností, jako je týmový duch, poctivost a vzájemná
soudržnost. Tyto hodnoty mají pro naši mládež právě v dnešní době veliký
význam. Koncept Česko-německé fotbalové školy si mne zcela získal.
Zvláště při sportovních kláních platí více než kdy jindy heslo „Společně
jsme silní“. Jsem proto nadšen myšlenou spojit evropskou mládež v rámci
fotbalového turnaje, a umožnit tak vedle sportovního soužití také poznávání
jiných kultur. Minimistrovství Evropy ideálním způsobem zapadá do našich
snah podporovat vynikající projekty v našem regionu. Přeji všem mladým
sportovcům hodně štěstí a především radosti ze hry.
EN Football – no other sport is attracting as many million people
worldwide, no other sport is more fascinating than this one. As a team
sport, football is promoting qualities as team spirit, fairness and solidarity.
These values are very important to our youngsters today. The concept of
the Czecho-German Football School convinced me. In all sports
competitions the slogan “United we are strong” is vivid more than ever.
Thus, I am delighted by the idea of uniting the European football youth in
a football tournament in order to play football together and experience new
cultures. The MINI EURO perfectly suits our aims to support outstanding
projects in this region here. I wish all young sportsmen a lot of success and
exciting games.

CZ Vítám Vás jménem Karlovarského kraje i jménem svým na nejdůležitější události ČNFŠ – na MINI
ME. Jsem velice rád, že se tento mezinárodní turnaj
koná právě u nás. Za dobu své existence dosáhl velké kvality a úspěchu. Důkazem toho je nejen vysoká
účast fotbalových klubů z celé Evropy, ale také vysoká návštěvnost. Myšlenku turnaje – vzájemně propojit sport, jazyk a kulturu, velice podporuji. Ve středu
zájmu je přitom tvořivost, radost ze sportu a vzdělávání. V době rozrůstající se a sjednocující se Evropy,
považuji tuto formu přeshraniční spolupráce za velice důležitou a přínosnou,
o to víc, že se týká dětí. Malí fotbalisté a fotbalové naděje z proslulých klubů
celý rok pilně trénují, aby ukázaly, že mají velký talent a zažily tento pro ně
jistě velký fotbalový svátek. Dovolte mi, abych jim popřál hodně vstřelených
gólů a skvělé sportovní výsledky. Celému organizátorskému týmu a Vám
všem, divákům, přeji úspěšný průběh turnaje a pěkné fotbalové zážitky.
DE Im Namen der Karlovy Vary Region und in meinem Namen darf ich Sie
herzlich zum wichtigsten Ereignis der DTFS willkommen heißen – der MINIEM. Ich bin sehr froh, dass dieses internationale Turnier gerade hier
stattfindet. Seit seiner Gründung steht das Turnier für große Qualität und
Erfolg. Dafür sprechen nicht nur die Teilnahme hochkarätiger Klubs aus ganz
Europa, sondern auch die vielen Fans. Ich unterstütze den Gedanken des
Turniers sehr, Sport, Sprache und Kultur miteinander zu verbinden. Im
Mittelpunkt des Interesses stehen die Schaffenskraft, die Freude am Sport
und die Bildung. In einer Zeit des zusammenwachsenden Europas halte ich
diese Form der grenzüberschreitenden Zusammenarbeit für sehr wichtig und
gewinnbringend, und das umso mehr, weil sie sich an Kinder wendet. Die
Nachwuchshoffnungen renommierter Klubs trainieren das ganze Jahr hart,
damit sie hier zeigen können, dass sie großes Talent haben und dieses große
Fußballfest erleben dürfen. Ich wünsche ihnen allen viele Tore und tolle
Ergebnisse. Dem Organisationsteam und Ihnen allen, den Zuschauern,
wünsche ich einen erfolgreichen Turnierverlauf und tollen Fußball.
EN I would like to welcome you in my name and in the name of the Karlovy
Vary Region to the annual sporting highlight of the Czecho-German Football
School – the MINI EURO. I am very happy that this international tournament
takes place here. It has always been a proof of good quality and success. This
is indicated not only by the range of top teams from all over Europe taking
part in the tournament, but also by the many fans. I strongly support the idea
of the tournament of connecting sport, language and culture with each other.
Most important is creativity, enjoying sports and education. In the time of an
enlarging and uniting Europe I consider this type of cross-border cooperation
as very important and a big benefit, especially as we focus on our children.
Promising talents of prestigious clubs from all over Europe have been

DE Die Deutsch-Tschechische Fußballschule hat
sich auch im vergangenen Jahr prächtig weiter
entwickelt. Die Anerkennung für das interkulturelle „Leuchtturmprojekt“ wurde mittlerweile
durch hohe Auszeichnungen bundesweit und
international zum Ausdruck gebracht. Nach dem
hervorragenden 2. Platz im Jahre 2007 sind wir
sehr gespannt, wie sich die sportlichen Leistungen
im Vergleich mit den europäischen Spitzenmannschaften bei der 5. MINI-EM in Rehau darstellen.
Im Namen der Regierung von Oberfranken heiße ich alle ausländischen
Mannschaften bei uns herzlich willkommen. Ich danke allen Verantwortlichen, Helfern und Sponsoren für ihr großartiges Engagement, wünsche
allen Teilnehmern viele freundschaftliche Kontakte im fairen, sportlichen

CZ Česko-německá fotbalová škola se i v uplynulém roce skvěle rozvíjela.
Tomuto „vlajkovému“ mezikulturnímu projektu se mezitím dostalo uznání
od renomovaných subjektů na celoněmecké i mezinárodní úrovni. Po
vynikajícím 2. místu v roce 2007 s napětím očekáváme, jak dopadnou
sportovní výkony týmu Evropy ve srovnání se špičkovými evropskými
mužstvy při 5. Minimistrovství Evropy v Rehau. Jménem vlády Horních
Frank bych chtěl všechna zahraniční mužstva u nás srdečně přivítat. Děkuji
všem odpovědným osobám, pomocníkům a sponzorům za jejich obrovské
úsilí, přeji všem účastníkům mnoho přátelských setkání v rámci férového

EN The Czecho-German Football School has made magnificent progress
last year. More and more national and international awards underline the
wide range of this ‘lighthouse project’. After the Czech and German boys
reached a remarkable 2nd place in the year 2007, we are curious how they
will perform with all the European top clubs at the fifth MINI EURO in
Rehau. In the name of the District Commission of Upper Francony
(Oberfranken) I would like to welcome all teams from abroad to our region.
I would like to say thank you to all the organising staff for their great

letošního 5. ročníku mezinárodní soutěže Minimistrovství Evropy žáků ve fotbale. Přesně před
rokem jsme zde vyslovili jedno přání – abychom se
zde opět setkali. Dnes můžeme říci – jsme velmi
rádi, že tak kvalitní projekt neopustil naše město,
a že dnes opět vítáme jeho další ročník právě
u nás, ve Františkových Lázních.
Chtěli bych Vám jménem našeho města popřát
nezapomenutelné sportovní zážitky a mnoho
hodnotných sportovních úspěchů. V duchu olympijské myšlenky, že vždy je
jeden vítěz, ale nikdy žádný poražený, Vám přejeme krásný fotbalový den.

DE Zum fünften Mal wird in diesem Jahr von der
DTFS die MINI-EM durchgeführt. Die Endrunde
dieses herausragenden sportlichen Wettbewerbs
findet in Rehau statt. An diesem grenzüberschreitenden Turnier werden 14 Jugendmannschaften
aus 11 Ländern teilnehmen. Die Jugendlichen
können sich bei dieser Veranstaltung nicht nur auf
sportlicher Ebene messen, sondern werden auch
neue Erfahrungen in kultureller Hinsicht
gewinnen. Ich wünsche allen teilnehmenden
Fußballern ein gutes, faires und verletzungsfreies Turnier. Den Zuschauern
wünsche ich gute Unterhaltung bei spannenden, hochklassigen Spielen
und bitte sie, die jungen Sportler anzufeuern. Mein Dank gilt Gerald Prell
und allen Helfern, die es ermöglicht haben, dass die Finalrunde der
MINI-EM in Rehau stattfinden kann, und allen Sponsoren, welche die
Finanzierung des Turniers gesichert haben. Diese Meisterschaft im Herzen
Europas soll dazu beitragen, dass die Jugend über Grenzen hinweg
zusammenfindet und neue Akzente im sportlichen Bereich in unserer
Region gesetzt werden.
CZ ČNFŠ v tomto roce již popáté pořádá MINI ME. Závěrečná fáze této
skvělé sportovní soutěže se koná v Rehau. Tohoto přeshraničního turnaje
se zúčastní 14 mládežnických mužstev z 11 zemí. Mládež se při této akci
může nejenom vzájemně poměřovat na sportovní úrovni, ale získává také
nové zkušenosti v kulturním ohledu. Přeji všem zúčastněným fotbalistům
vydařený, férově vedený turnaj bez zranění. Divákům přeji dobrou zábavu
při napínavých zápasech vysoké sportovní úrovně a prosím je o neutuchající
podporu mladých sportovců. Chci poděkovat Geraldu Prellovi a všem
pomocníkům, kteří umožnili, aby se závěrečná fáze Minimistrovství Evropy
mohla konat v Rehau, a všem sponzorům, kteří zajistili financování turnaje.
Toto mistrovství v srdci Evropy chce přispět k setkávání mládeže bez
ohledu na jakékoli hranice a k udání nových směrů ve sportovní oblasti
v našem regionu.
EN For the 5th time the Czecho-German Football School has organised
the MINI EURO. The final round of this outstanding tournament takes place
in Rehau. This year 14 youth teams from 11 nations will take part in the
MINI EURO. This special cross-border event gives our youngsters the
chance to compete in sports and to experience new cultures. I wish all
participating football players good and fair games without injuries. I would
like to ask the fans to support the boys and wish you all great
entertainment with exciting and top-class games. I would like to say thank
you to Gerald Prell and all volunteers who brought the final round to Rehau
and to all the sponsors who financed the tournament. This championship in
the heart of Europe shall contribute to bringing the European youth

DE Die Deutsch-Tschechische Fußballschule ist
ein europaweit einmaliges Projekt der
Talentförderung. Wir wollen Kindern nicht nur
professionelles Fußballtraining bieten. Über den
Fußball sollen bei uns Nachwuchskicker aus
Deutschland und Tschechien auch die Sprache
und Kultur des Nachbarn spielerisch kennen
lernen. Deshalb trainieren unsere Schüler über
Jahre hinweg auf beiden Seiten der Grenze
gemeinsam Fußball und lernen parallel dazu in
einem Sprachkurs Deutsch und Tschechisch. Einmal pro Jahr öffnen wir
als Highlight unserer Projektarbeit das europäische Fenster noch ein
bisschen weiter. Bei der MINI-EM begegnen sich dann namhafte
Fußballklubs aus ganz Europa. Premiere feierte die MINI-EM am 1. und 2.
Mai 2004 anlässlich der Erweiterung der Europäischen Union. Damals
traten Traditionsklubs aus Deutschland und allen EU-Beitrittsländern
gegeneinander an, um ihren „Europameister“ zu ermitteln.
Mittlerweile ist die MINI-EM zu einer festen Einrichtung im europäischen
Jugendfußball geworden. In diesem Jahr haben die UEFA, der Bayerische
und der Böhmisch-Mährische Fußballverband erneut die Schirmherrschaft
über das Turnier übernommen. Unsere hochkarätigen Partner fördern die
Idee, dass 250 Talente aus 11 Nationen um den Turniersieg kämpfen und
zugleich ein zweitägiges, großes, buntes Fußballfest feiern. Sie fördern die
Idee, dass der europäische Fußballnachwuchs am ehemaligen „Eisernen
Vorhang“ gemeinsam ein Zeichen für friedliche Verständigung setzt.
„Gegen Rassismus und Gewalt“ lautet daher in diesem Jahr wieder unser
gemeinsames Turniermotto.
Bedanken möchten wir uns an dieser Stelle bei allen Förderern, Sponsoren
und den vielen freiwilligen Helfern, ohne die die MINI-EM der DeutschTschechischen Fußballschule wohl kaum mehr wäre als eine schöne Idee.
Wir wünschen allen Nachwuchskickern, Betreuern, Eltern und Zuschauern
viel Spaß, faire, spannende Spiele und ein unvergessliches

CZ Česko-německá fotbalová škola je v evropském měřítku unikátním
projektem práce s talenty. Dětem nechceme nabídnout pouze profesionální
fotbalový trénink, prostřednictvím fotbalu by se malí fotbalisté z Německa
a Česka měli seznámit také s jazykem a kulturou sousední země. Proto
naši žáci dlouhodobě společně trénují na obou stranách hranice a paralelně
k tomu se v jazykovém kurzu učí německy nebo česky. Jednou ročně se
snažíme okno do Evropy otevírat ještě o trochu více. Při každoročním MINI
ME se pak setkávají věhlasné fotbalové kluby z celé Evropy. Premiéru mělo
MINI ME 1. a 2. května 2004 u příležitosti rozšíření Evropské unie. Tenkrát
proti sobě nastoupily tradiční týmy z Německa a ze všech zemí přistupujících do EU, aby se utkaly o titul „mistra Evropy“.
Na tomto místě bychom chtěli poděkovat všem
donátorům, sponzorům a mnoha dobrovolným
pomocníkům, bez jejichž podpory by se z MINI ME
Česko-německé fotbalové školy stalo sotva něco
více než pěkný nápad. Všem fotbalovým žákům,
trenérům, rodičům a divákům přejeme příjemnou
zábavu, férovou a napínavou hru a nezapomenutelný fotbalový víkend!
EN The Czecho-German Football School as a project promoting football
talent is unique in European terms. It is not only a professional approach to
training that we would like to provide to the kids. Football at the same time
helps the young German and Czech footballers in their attempt to acquire
knowledge of the language and culture of the neighbouring country in a fun
way. Therefore, our school children on both sides of the border have been
practising football for years while at the same time learning German and
Czech in language courses. Once a year we would like to open this
European window even more. At the MINI EURO renowned clubs from all
over Europe meet. The first tournament took place on 1st and 2nd May
2004 on the occasion of the enlargement of the European Union: then the
tournament hosted traditional teams from Germany and all of the newly
accessing countries competing against each other for the title “Mini
Champion of Europe”.
Meanwhile the MINI EURO has become one of the top events in European
youth football. This year, UEFA, the Bavarian and Czech Football
Associations are again official patron of the tournament. These top-class
partners support our idea that 250 young football talents from all over
Europe fight for the title and celebrate a big fancy two-day football festival.
They support the idea that some of the best European youth teams are
setting a common sign for peaceful understanding on both sides of the
former Iron Curtain. For this reason our joint tournament motto will be
“Against Racism and Violence”.
At this point we would like to say a big thank you to all our fans, sponsors
and volunteers without whose contribution our MINI EURO would be
nothing but a good idea. We hope all young footballers, coaches, parents
and fans enjoy themselves during the tournament that they have fair and
thrilling matches and experience a football weekend to remember.

CZ Je mi potěšením, že MINI ME se koná již popáté nedaleko mého
rodiště. V době kdy jsem byl fotbalovým žákem, hrál jsem i na stadiónech,
kde se turnaj koná. V té době nebylo možné hrát tolik mezinárodních
zápasů, protože hranice mezi východem a západem byly uzavřeny. Dnes je
Evropa sjednocena a proto jsem rád, že dnes místní mládež může hrát
s tolika špičkovými týmy z celé Evropy. Tím se stává MINI ME jedním
z nejlepších mládežnických turnajů v Evropě .
Přeji všem hodně úspěchů, zábavy a zápasy vedené fairplay!

Heimat stattfindet. Als ich ein kleiner Junge war, habe ich selbst in diesen
Stadien Fußball gespielt. Leider konnte ich mich damals nicht mit so vielen
internationalen Teams messen, weil die Grenzen zwischen Ost und West
noch geschlossen waren. Heute ist Europa vereint, und ich freue mich
umso mehr, dass unser einheimischer Nachwuchs mit so erstklassigen
Teams aus ganz Europa spielen kann. Das macht die MINI-EM zu einem
der besten Jugendturniere Europas.

EN It is a pleasure for me that the fifth MINI EURO is again taking place in
my home region. When I was a small boy, I played in the same football
grounds as you today. Unfortunately, I was not able to compete with so
many international teams as the borders between East and West were still
closed. Europe is re-united today and I am very happy that our youngsters
can play with so many top-class teams from all over Europe. This makes
the MINI EURO one of the best youth tournaments in Europe.

Moskau und weitere Topklubs – diese Aufzählung liest sich wie das Teilnehmerfeld der UEFA Champions League. Die MINI-EM ist das Top-Ereignis
und Schaufenster des aktuellen Projekts „Lernen über Grenzen“ der DTFS.
Sportlich zählt es wohl mit zu den hochkarätigsten Juniorenturnieren
Europas. Für Jugendspieler gibt es sicher nicht viel Aufregenderes, als sich
hier mit den besten Spielern Europas zu messen. Auch für mich gehören
internationale Vergleiche zu den Höhepunkten jeder Saison. Neben dem
sportlichen Vergleich, sind es die Möglichkeiten, neue Kulturen kennen zu
lernen und sich mit Spielern verschiedenster Länder auszutauschen, die
meine Persönlichkeit auch neben dem Spielfeld bereichern.
Ich freue mich, das Turnier 08 mit unserer Jugendfußballinitiative FD21 zu
unterstützen. Wie schon im vergangenen Jahr werden wir das Turnier online
auf FD21.de begleiten und vom Geschehen der MINI-EM berichten – der
Blick auf die Website lohnt sich. Ich wünsche allen Beteiligten ein tolles
Turnier, mit spannenden Spielen und vielen persönlichen Erfolgserlebnissen.

the UEFA Champions League. The MINI EURO is the top event of the
Czecho-German Football School and the best way to present the current
project “Learning across borders”. With regard to the level of football, the
MINI EURO will count among the top youth tournaments in Europe. I am
sure that there is nothing more exciting for young football talents than
competing with the best players from all over Europe. International
matches are the sporting highlights to me in each season, too. Besides the
competition in football, I think it is very enrichening that I get to know new
cultures and can speak to players from other countries off the pitch.
I am glad that I may support the MINI EURO 08 with our youth football
initiative FD21. Like last year we will report on the tournament at FD21.de
and inform you of what is happening at the MINI EURO – just have a look on
the website. I wish all boys a great tournament, exciting games and a lot of
personal success.

a další špičkové kluby – při čtení seznamu účastníků člověku připadá, že se
dívá na rozpis Ligy mistrů UEFA. MINI ME je vrcholnou událostí a výkladní
skříní aktuálně probíhajícího projektu ČNFŠ pod názvem „Učení bez hranic“.
Ze sportovního hlediska patří tato akce k nejprestižnějším mládežnickým
turnajům v Evropě. Pro mladé hráče bezesporu neexistuje mnoho
atraktivnějších věcí, než je možnost poměřit se na mezinárodním turnaji
s nejlepšími hráči Evropy. Také pro mě osobně patří mezinárodní konfrontace
k vrcholným okamžikům každé sezony. Vedle porovnání sportovních výkonů
s sebou přinášejí možnost poznat nové kultury a vyměnit si zkušenosti s hráči
z nejrůznějších zemí, kteří jsou pro mne obohacením i mimo hřiště.
Těší mne, že mohu letošní ročník turnaje podpořit s naší iniciativou
mládežnického fotbalu FD21. Stejně jako v uplynulém roce budeme přinášet
on-line informace o průběhu turnaje na internetové stránce FD21.de
a informovat zde o MINI ME – návštěva naší stránky se určitě vyplatí. Přeji
všem účastníkům skvělý turnaj, plný napínavých zápasů a mnoha osobních

ukrajinské profesionální soutěže, zvané „Vyšča liga“.
V roce 1991 byl název klubu změněn na FC Čornomorec
(ukrajinský pravopis). Řada lidí přesto pro klub nadále
používá název FC Černomorec (podle ruského
pravopisu). Jeho prezident Leonid Klimov již léta usiluje
o návrat klubu do evropských soutěží. Z fotbalové školy
Černomorce pocházejí slavní fotbalisté jako Igor
Bělanov a Andrej Voronin, který dnes hraje za FC
Liverpool.

Může se pochlubit úspěšnou minulostí, zejména mezi

vyhrála Středoevropský pohár (předchůdce Poháru
UEFA) a zařadila se tak mezi evropskou špičku. Jedním
z vrcholů dosažených v nedávné minulosti byl postup do

CZ V roce 1893 přivedli mladí sportovci na svět Athletic
Club Sparta, který se následně vypracoval na nejlepší
klub v Čechách a na Moravě. Sparta se stala 33krát
českým nebo československým mistrem. Na mezinárodním poli se Sparta zapsala 3 vítězstvími ve Středoevropském poháru (1927, 1935, 1964) a pravidelnou

Club Sparta to life. The club went on to become the best football club in
Bohemia and Moravia thereafter. Sparta has claimed 33 titles as Czech and
Czechoslovak champions. Internationally Sparta made a name for itself by
winning the Mitropa Cup 3 times (1927, 1935, 1964) and making regular
appearances in the UEFA Cup. The club operates a new training centre in
Strahov that provides solid support to the youth. The traditional dark-red
jersey was after all “imported”: in 1906 the president at that time brought

mistra Portugalska, celých 13 z nich dokonce v posledních
20 letech. Pozornost na mezinárodní scéně si klub poprvé
vydobyl v roce 1987, kdy v Lize mistrů UEFA porazil Bayern
Mnichov. V roce 2003 následoval triumf v Poháru UEFA,
v roce 2004 vítězství v Lize mistrů pod vedením trenéra
José Mourinha. Práce s mládeží u FC Porto je proslavená
a v minulosti dopomohla proniknout mezi fotbalovou elitu

CZ Tým z polské metropole byl založen v roce 1916 pod
jménem WKS Legia Warszawa. Bývalý vojenský klub má
na kontě 8 titulů. Polský pohár vyhrála Legia celkem
12krát. Špičkový klub z polského hlavního města se tak
řadí k nejvěhlasnějším týmům v zemi. V roku 2000 Legia
založila vlastní mládežnickou akademii a od té doby sází
na intenzivní práci s mládeží. Není tedy divu, že žákovská
družstva klubu se mezitím propracovala mezi ta nejlepší
v Polsku.

jako „Vídeňský amatérský sportovní klub“ a od roku 1926
nese oficiální název Austria. V roce 1938 se klub ocitl téměř
na pokraji zániku, když řada jeho židovských funkcionářů
a hráčů musela prchnout před nacisty. FK Austria nakonec
přežil válku a stal se z něj nejúspěšnější klub Rakouska po
roce 1945. Od té doby získaly „Fialky“, jak se hráčům tohoto
vídeňského klubu říká kvůli oddílovým barvám, 23krát
mistrovský titul. Prostřednictvím své „Akademie Franka Stronacha pro
fotbalový dorost“ se Austria již léta velice intenzivně věnuje práci s mládeží.
CZ Česko-německá fotbalová škola je
v evropském měřítku unikátním projektem
zaměřeným na práci s talenty. Od roku
2002 společně trénují německé a české děti
v Hofu, Rehau a Skalné a paralelně se
seznamují s jazykem sousední země. Tento jednoduchý nápad má úspěch.
Fotbalová škola má už 100 žáků a je plně obsazena. Sportovním vrcholem

lernen parallel dazu die Sprache des Nachbarlands kennen. Die Idee ist

was almost shut down when several Jewish officials and players had to flee
from the Nazis. FK Austria survived the war and became the most
successful Austrian football club since 1945. Since then, the “Violets” – as

EN The Czecho-German Football School is a unique project in Europe and
involves promoting young talented players from both sides of the border.
Since 2002 German and Czech children have been attending joint football
