TIMOTHY BERNERS-LEE
Sir Timothy John "Tim" Berners-Lee (born 8 June 1955) is a British computer scientist, best known
as the inventor of the World Wide Web. He made a proposal for an information management system
in March 1989, and he implemented the first successful communication between a Hypertext
Transfer Protocol (HTTP) client and server via the Internet sometime around mid November.

THE ARM ARCHITECTURE
The ARM architecture describes a family of RISC-based computer processors designed and
licensed by British company ARM Holdings. Globally as of 2013 it is the most widely used 32-bit
instruction set architecture in terms of quantity produced. Using a RISC based approach to
computer design, ARM processors require significantly fewer transistors than processors that would
typically be found in a traditional computer. The benefits of this approach are lower costs, less heat,
and less power usage, traits that are desirable for use in light, portable, battery-powered devices
such as smart phones and tablet computers.
