Město s velkým kulturním, společenským i administrativním
významem. Město s bohatou historií a neméně zářivou současností. Město UNESCO s náměstím sv. Marka, Dóžecím palácem
a knihovnou Sansovino. Město kanálů, mostů a gondol... Benátky. Kdo by je neznal a kdo by je nezbožňoval.
Toto ostrovní město je místem četných návštěv turistů. Není se čemu divit, nabízí
něco pro každého. Benátky jsou plné inspirace, kterou vyzařují z každého svého
paláce, kanálu, domu i ze svého nejzazšího koutu. I proto sem tak rádi jezdili a stále
jezdí ti nejvyhlášenější umělci všech oborů. Benátky můžeme hledat za některými
díly takových velikánů, jako je malíř Tizian, dramatik Carlo Goldoni, nebo hudební
skladatel Antionio Vivaldi.
Hlavní atrakcí a jedinečným unikátem italského skvostu jsou především kanály a
mosty. Těch je neuvěřitelných 400. Nejdelší kanál je pak 4 km dlouhý, asi 70 m široký
a vede skrz celé město. Spojuje budovu přístavu a hlavního nádraží s historickým
centrem, vrcholem benátského umění, s náměstím svatého Marka. Nedaleko od něj
leží budova hodná stejného obdivu jako samotné náměstí. Jedná se o hotel Londra
Palace.
Jeho hlavní předností je právě skvělé umístění v centru města. Z jeho více než
sta oken je krásný výhled na Velký kanál a na nedaleký ostrov. Ve druhém směru
je pak od centrálního náměstí a od slavného Mostu vzdechů vzdálen jen pár kroků.
Úžasná poloha ale zdaleka není jedinou výjimečností tohoto hotelu. Naopak, má
jich nespočet.
Byl vystavěn mezi roky 1867 a 1868 a již tenkrát byl výsadou těch nejnáročnějších
hostů. Za všechny mluví Gabriele D´Annunzio, uznávaný italský lyrik. Dalším příkladem, který dokládá jedinečnou sílu hotelu, je pak ruský skladatel Petr Iljič Čajkovskij. Pobýval zde roku 1877 a napsal zde symfonii, kterou nazval Do Leoni. Její
jméno nyní nese nově opravená restaurace v Londra Palace.
Celý hotel prošel rozsáhlou rekonstrukcí a dočkal se znovuzrození. Nyní je opět
plný energie, elegance a luxusu. Architekti si na opravě hotelu dali doopravdy záležet. Claudio Ruberti a Deborah Cutillo zachovali tradici hotelu a vše podřídili jeho
původní, starodávné podobě. V žádném případě ale nepodcenili nezbytnost modernizace. Podařilo se jim vytvořit dokonalý soulad starého benátského stylu s novými
technikami a materiály.
Všechny pokoje tohoto vyhlášeného hotelu jsou vybaveny ve velkolepém stylu.
Nejluxusnější interiér tvoří spolu s historickým exteriérem dokonalou kombinaci.
Designéři dbali na dostatek světla v každé místnosti hotelu. Pokoje jsou doslova zalité světlem a jsou tak nabité energií a optimismem. Světlo, kterému architekti přiřkli
hlavní roli, má ještě další klad. Jeho intenzita boří bariéry mezi vnitřními a vnějšími
prostory a vše je díky tomu otevřenější a přívětivější.
Dominantou celého hotelu je právě výše zmíněná restaurace. Ristorante Do Leoni
je příjemný a okouzlující prostor, který vyzařuje pohodlí a milou atmosféru. Nabízí
prostory jak pro posezení nad odpolední kávou a čajem, tak pro poklidné čtení knih,
časopisů a sladké lenošení. Ideální je i pro rušnější zábavu nad vínem nebo lahodnou
whisky. Restaurace by ale nebyla tím, čím je, bez prvotřídního šéfkuchaře Lorise
Indriho. V jeho rukou se všechny pokrmy promění v božskou manu a ne nadarmo je
jeho restaurace považována za gurmetský ráj.
Londra Palace je místo, kde se umění a kultura cítí jako doma. Jeho výtečná reputace svědčí o jeho nezapomenutelnosti. Hotel byl zařazen mezi nejlepší hotely v Benátkách, v Itálii a dokonce i v celé jižní Evropě. Hotel Londra Palace ve Vás zanechá

This island city is a place of frequent visits of tourists. No wonder, the city offers something for everyone. Venice is full of inspiration who is emitted from
every palace, canal, house and every little corner. That
is why the most famous artists of all branches have
been coming here so often. We can see Venice behind
works of such figures, like a painter Titian, playwriter
Carlo Goldoni, or a music composer Antonio Vivaldi.
The main attraction and a real unique of the Italian
pride are among others the canals and bridges. There is
unbelievable four hundred of them. The longest canal
is four kilometres long and seventy metres wide and it
gets throught the whole city. It connects the building of
the harbour and the main railway station with the historical centre, the top of Venetian art, with the square
of St. Marco. Close to it is situated the building which

A whole hotel got through a wide renovation and
experienced a rebirth. Now it is full of energy, elegance and luxury. Architects focused on the renovation
very intensely. Claudio Ruberti and Deborah Cutillo
preserved the tradition of the hotel and subordinated
everything to the original, old appearance. However,
they didn´t underestimated the neccessity of modernisation. They achieved an excellent harmony of old
Venetian style with new techniques and materials.
All the rooms of this famous hotel are equipped in
high style. The most luxurious interior creates together
with the historical interior a perfect combination. Designers focused on the sufficient amount of light in any
space of the hotel. The rooms are bathed with light
and so charged with energy and optimism. The light,
which plays the main role has also other advantage.
Its intensity breaks the barriers between the interior
and exterior and thus everything is more open and
pleasant.
A dominant of the whole hotel is mentioned restaurant. Ristorante Do Leoni is a nice and charming space, which emitts comfort and pleasant atmosphere. It
offers a spaces for to sit with an afternoon coffee and
tea, as well as for a calm reading of books, magazines
and sweet relaxing. It is ideal also for a bustling entertainment by a wine or delicious whisky. A restaurant
couldn´t be what it is without a first-class chef Loris
Indri. In his hands all the meals change into a heaven
food and his restaurant is considered for a gourmet´s
paradise.

in a family way. Its excellent reputation show the evidence of it as unforgettable. Hotel has been included
