Every ESCO solid wood floor and 3- or 2-layer plankwood floor comes factory finished with the original
Polyx/Hardwax-Oil finish. The result is a high quality finish based on vegetable oils and waxes which
is hard-wearing and ready to install. An initial treatment or additional oiling on-site is not necessary.

Die massive Landhausdiele ist der Klassiker unter den Holzböden.
Kein anderer Bodenbelag strahlt eine solche Lebendigkeit in den
eigenen vier Wänden aus und auch lange schon weiß man um
die positive Auswirkung auf die Raumluft durch den Werkstoff
Holz. Die Natürliche Eigenschaft, Feuchtigkeit aus der Umgebung
abzugeben und aufzunehmen und somit das Gleichgewicht der
Luftfeuchte zu beeinflussen wirkt sich spürbar aus.

neuen Produktionsstätte für Fertigparkett sind wir in der Lage
Holzfußböden so herzustellen, dass Sie nicht merken ob Sie z.B.
auf einer gealterten Massiv- oder Fertigparkettdiele stehen.

Solid wood flooring is the classic among wooden flooring. No
other floor surface radiates such liveliness within four walls
whilst also regulating the general atmosphere, Its natural
ability to take on and give off moisture has long been positively
noticeable, this characteristic influences and balances the level
of moisture in a room.

Esco engineered 3-layer and 2- layer plankwood flooring
Parquet is, thanks to its characteristics, always in trend, no
matter if it is needed for rooms with underfloor heating, in
various thicknesses for renovating existing surfaces, or whilst
planning your new home, the wide range of product possibilities
leaves practically no wish unanswered. Our new production
facility enables us to create and produce wooden surfaces so well
that you will not be able to tell the difference, for example in an
aged look, between parquet and solid wood.

Tyto vícevrstvé podlahy jsou vhodné jak pro novou výstavbu,
tak i renovaci a rovněž je možno je použít pro podlahové topení.
Vícevrstvé Esco podlahy jsou vzhledově stejné jako masivní
podlahy. Nejdůležitější prvky jako je třídění, olej a povrchová
úprava jsou u vícevrstvých a masivní podlah naprosto totožné.
Tyto podlahy jsou vyráběny z ekologických, evropských
materiálů.

gefüllt und anschließend geschliffen. Diese Kombination aus speziell sortierter rustikaler Eiche und der glatten edlen
Oberfläche ist in vielen Farbvariationen erhältlich. Auch hier können Sie aus Farben und Oberflächenbearbeitungen

Oberfläche wird bei unseren „Kolonial“-Böden eine härtere Oberfläche erlangt. Modernes Design kann hier mit
unserem Superb- oder Elegance-Stil wunderbar kombiniert werden. Zu guter Letzt wird auch hier die originale
Hartwachs-Öl Oberfläche aufgebracht, damit eine Erstpflege gar nicht notwendig wird. Wie bei all unseren Produkten
können Sie auch hier Ihren persönlichen Geschmack bei Farben und Oberflächenbeschaffenheit aus unseren anderen

modern design with our Superb or Elegance style. Of course the floors receive the original Polyx/Hardwax Oil surface to
ensure a high-quality product which is ready to install. 8 colours or several widths are not enough? Create your floor by
using different colours or surface structures for a floor with your own signature.

von einem vor 100 Jahren verlegten Holzfußboden ab. Unsere „Pelgrim“ ist auch in Sonderformaten wie Fischgrätoder Kassettenoptik erhältlich.

special process steps the knots are filled and oiled to achieve a 100 year old look. Damages and aging marks complete

rein von Hand mit Hartwachs-Öl fertig endbehandelt. Die fachmännische Bearbeitung verleiht Karel IV. ein Aussehen

Technische Spezifikationen von Esco Parkett und der Esco Landhausdiele
Hier wird beschrieben, nach welchen Gesichtspunkten die Firma ESCO
produziert.
Emotionen Bohemia, Moravia, Sumava, Karel IV, Soft-Tone haben eine
Spezielle eigenen Markante Holz-Stil und Ausstrahlung.
Bitte lesen Sie sich diese Information gut durch. Haben sie bitte dafür
Verständnis, dass wir diese Technische Spezifikation für eventuelle
Reklamationen als Grundlage für die Bearbeitung nehmen.
4. Emotionen
Mit der Bestellung von ESCO Parkett und Landhausdiele akzeptieren Sie diese
Technischen Spezifikationen.
1. Holzart
Die Firma ESCO produziert hochwertiges Parkett und Landhausdielen aus
europäischer Eiche. Behandeld werden Sie es finden in der Preisliste bei Esco
Exklusiv und Unbehandeld bei Esco Basic.
Der Charakter dieser Produkte ist rustikal. Um diesen Charakter zu erhalten,
bezieht die Firma ESCO besäumte und kammergetrocknetes (9 %, ± 2 %
Holzfeuchte) Massivholz bei führenden europäischen Sägewerken ein, die
eine spezielle Sortierung für die Firma ESCO eingeführt haben. Die spezielle
Behandlungen, die spezielle Sortierung Eichen und Mutter Natur geben
unseren Produkten die Ausstrahlung die gewünscht ist beim Kunden. Jeder
unserer Lieferanten trägt das CE-Zertifikat, PEFC, DiBT. (Punkt 13)
2. Qualitätskontrolle
Um eine ständig gleich bleibende Qualität unserer Produkte zu
gewährleisten, haben wir beim Wareneingang und während des
gesamten Produktionsprozesses nach jedem Arbeitsschritt verschiedene
Kontrollmechanismen eingebaut.
Da Massivholz ein natürlich wachsender Rohstoff ist und aufgrund der
Inhaltsstoffe gerade im Eichenholz, kann es zu natürlichen Farbunterschieden
kommen. Diese Unterschiede stellen keinen Reklamationsgrund dar.
Jeder Emotion hat seine eigenen Ausstrahlung die entstanden ist durch
bestimmte Kombinationen von Behandlungen, Stilen und Farben. Alle
Emotionen haben ein Erkennbare Logo und den Speizelle Esco Identität!
Die Emotionen sind: Bohemia – Chateau – Moravia – Kolonial – Sumava –
Harfa – Pelgrim – Karel IV – Soft Tone.
5. Produktion
Damit die Firma ESCO einheitliche Qualitätsstandards in den Holz-Stilen
gewährleisten können, produziert sie die Massiv Landhausdiele in fallenden
Längen. Dies bedeutet, dass:
ρρ bei einer Stärke von 20 mm:
ρρ 70 % der Dielen länger als 170 cm und 30 % der Dielen zwischen
40 cm und 165 cm sind;
ρρ bei einer Stärke von 14 mm:
ρρ 60 % der Dielen länger als 170 cm und 40 % der Dielen zwischen
40 cm und 165 cm sind.
Die längste Diele kann jedoch max. 280 cm sein.
Eine Produktion ohne Fase ist bei allen Breiten möglich, jedoch ist dies dann
eine Holz-Stil Original (siehe Punkt 3.), wird nur eine Holz-Stil gewünscht, so
ist dann nur eine Breite von 170 mm ohne Fase möglich.
Unseren Produktion halle sind 100 % komplett akklimatisiert!
Um die Verlegung so leicht wie möglich zu machen, sind alle Parkett und
Landhausdielen mit Nut und Feder rundum produziert. An den Kopfseiten
betragt die Toleranz der Nut und Feder 1 mm.
3. Holz-Stil
Bei Fertig Parket haben wir auch fallende Längen. Diese bedeutet, dass:
Die Emotionen bietet Esco an in Unterschiedliche Stilen. Ein Stil ist eine
Werksortierung von Esco um den Identität von ein Esco Emotion zu
gewehrleisten. Umschreibung von die Stilen sind Richtlinien mit eine
bestimmte Toleranz da die Ausstrahlung von den Emotion bestimmend ist.
Emotionen Chateau, Kolonial, Harfa, Pelgrim sind zu bekommen in Holz-Stil:
Eleganz
ρρ Nur Punkt Asten. (Kombination Astreine Dielen und Dielen mit
Punkasten).
ρρ Kein Weisholz und Braunholz.
ρρ Keine Insekten und Hobelfehler.
ρρ Natürliche Farb- und lebhafte Strukturunterschiede sind erlaubt.
ρρ Spiegels und Unterschiedliche Fase Verlauf vereinzelt erlaubt.
Superb
ρρ Gespachtelte kleine Äste mit einem Durchmesser ± 15 mm bis 20 mm
sind erlaubt.
ρρ Geschlossene gesund Äste ± 25 mm bis 50 mm.
ρρ Kein Weisholz und Braunholz.
ρρ Keine Insekten und Hobelfehler.
ρρ Natürliche Farb- und lebhafte Strukturunterschiede sind erlaubt.
ρρ Spiegels und Unterschiedliche Fase Verlauf vereinzelt erlaubt.
Classic
ρρ Wie A, aber auch mit runde gespachtelte Ästen mit einem Durchmesser
bis ± 40 mm.
ρρ Geschlossene gesund Äste.
ρρ Gespachtelte Kreuzäste mit einem Durchmesser bis ± 90 mm.
ρρ Etwas Weiß Holz ist erlaubt.
ρρ Spiegels und Unterschiedliche Fase Verlauf vereinzelt erlaubt.
Original
ρρ Eine Mischung von Superb und Classic mit eine Rustikale Design.
Nach dem Hobeln werden die Produkte Hand sortiert. Trotz gewissenhafter
Qualitätskontrolle können in eine Holz-Stil bis zu 5 % einer anderen Holz-Stil
enthalten sein. Des Weiteren haben wir keinen Einfluss auf die Ausrichtung
der Jahrringe. Diese beeinflussen das natürliche Quell- und Schwindverhalten
des Holzes. Da es noch keine einheitliche EU-Normierung für die Herstellung
von Landhausdielen gibt, weichen unsere Produkte in Länge, Breite und
Toleranzen von Standardprodukten wie z.B Parkett ab.
Die rustikalen Eichen-Landhausdielen sind Produkte, die auf eine besondere
Weise produziert werden und demzufolge die spezielle Esco-Optik erhalten.

Esco hat in Programm 9 Produkt Emotionen.
ρρ Bei einer Stärke von 15 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm;
ρρ 3 Schicht max. Längen pro Lieferung zwischen 1800 mm bis
2400 mm separate Folie verpackt.
ρρ 2 Schicht ist 80 % langer dann 1800 mm bis 2400 mm.
Fix-Längen sind immer nur auf Anfrage möglich und haben aufgrund der
schwierigeren Holz-Stil einen Mehrpreis pro Quadratmeter. Daher informieren
Sie sich bitte vorher bei der Verkaufsabteilung der Firma ESCO.
Unsere Produkte werden in verschieden Breiten produziert. Das hängt davon
ab, wie wir die Rohware von den Sägewerken angeliefert bekommen. Daher
kann es sein, dass die gelieferte Ware max. 5 mm von der bestellten Ware
abweichen kann. Mit der Auftragsbestätigung wird diese Information an Sie
weitergeleitet.
Unsere Produkte werden standardmäßig mit jeweils zwei Längsfasen von
1.2 mm produziert. Diese verhindern, dass die Längskanten stark beschädigt
werden. Diese Mikrofasen können je nach Wunsch aber auch vierseitig
produziert werden.
Kitten
Vor der Oberflächenbehandlung werden die Esco-Landhausdielen und das
ESCO-Parkett gekittet.
Dazu benutzen wir einen ökologischen Kitt. Dieser härtet nach 2Tage
vollständig aus.
Bei den Produkten „Bohemia, Moravia, Chateau und Kolonial“ ist es möglich
verschieden Farben auszusuchen (hell, dunkel oder schwarz). Unsere
gealterte Ware „Pelgrim“ wird mit einer antiken ökologische Ölmischung
gekittet. Dieser Kitt härtet erst nach 14 Tagen vollständig aus und sackt
in dieser Zeit ein wenig nach. Dies gibt dem Fußboden den Charme
vergangener Jahrhunderte.
Räuchern
Auf Wunsch können wir unsere Produkte räuchern. Hierfür benützt die
Firma ESCO Räucherkammern. Beim Räuchern wird eine bestimmte Menge
Ammoniak in die Kammer gestellt. Die davor eingelagerten Eiche-Dielen
reagieren mit ihrer Gerbsäure und dem Ammoniak. Dadurch erhalten die
Landhausdielen ihr dunkles Aussehen. Da aber in jeder Diele nie die gleiche
Menge an Gerbsäure enthalten sein kann, ist es auch möglich, dass nicht alle
Dielen für einen Kunden die gleiche Farbe hat.
Die Firma ESCO räuchert die Massivdiele nur leicht an. Dabei beträgt die Tiefe
± 2 mm. Bei einer doppelten geräucherten Ware erscheint diese mit einem
leicht rotschwarzen Farbton.
Diese Farbunterschiede der geräucherten Ware ist somit kein Grund zu
einer Reklamation.
Ölauftrag
Die Firma ESCO besitzt ein Ölstrasse, wo ausschließlich das Osmo Polyxöl
aufgetragen wird. Hier werden nicht nur die Farbvarianten aufgetragen,
sondern auch die Topschicht und mittels UV-Strahlungen ausgehärtet. Die
Topschicht hat den Zweck den Fußboden zu schützen und schließt die
Oberfläche zu 90 % ab. Durch dieses Verfahren in Verbindung mit dem Osmo
Polyxöl sind unsere Dielen als ein fertiges Produkt zu bezeichnen. Eine weitere
Endpflege ist daher nicht mehr notwendig.
Falls einmal Reparaturen an dem verlegten Boden durchzuführen sind,
können Sie diese leicht mit dem Osmo-Hartwachsöl erledigen.

Die Speziell Rezeptur auf Basis Pflanzlicher Öle und Wachse bewirkt die sehr
hohe Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Mechanische und Chemische Einflüsse.
Den Osmo Öl ist:
Undenklich für Mensch, Tier und Pflanze!
Speichel und Schweiß echt nach DIN 53 160
Geeignet für Kinderspielzeug nach DIN 71.3
Widerstandfähig gegen Wein, Bier, Cola, Kaffee, Fruchtsäfte und anderen
Haushaltchemikalien gem. DIN 68 861 – 1A
Karel IV Emotionen sind behandelt mit Esco Hartwachs-Öl, 3 x handisch geölt.
Nach Verlegung ist eine Endpflege nicht unbedingt notwendig aber ist zu
beraten. Nach Verlegung von die Karel IV 2–3 Wochen leicht Pflegen und
Vorsicht mit Wasser.
Danach normale Pflege wie in Pflege Anleitung umschrieben.
Schleifung
Emotionen Bohemia und Chateau werden geschliffen in 4 Schritten bis
180 Korn. Bei Extreme Drehungen im Holz Struktur können nach Schleifung
noch Stellen entstehen die durch den Öl werden akzentuiert und geben den
Emotionen Bohemia und Chateau eine Speizelle Ausstrahlung.
6. Quell- und Schwindverhalten des Holzes
Holz besitzt in seiner mannigfachen Form die Eigenschaft, sich in seinem
Feuchtigkeitszustand der relativen Luftfeuchtigkeit seiner Umgebung
anzupassen. Man nennt dies Hygroskopizität.
Man erkennt die Zustandsveränderungen an auffälligen Formveränderungen
des Holzes.
Massivholz „arbeitet“ innerhalb einer Toleranz vom ± 3 %. Das bedeutet, dass
je nach Ausrichtung der Jahrringe die Stärke und Breite variieren kann.
Unsere Dielen haben eine relative Holzfeuchte von 9 % ± 2 %. Das entspricht
in etwa dem Klima in europäischen Haushalten. Es sollte eine relative
Luftfeuchtigkeit zwischen 45–65 % im zu verlegenden Räumen sein.
Können diese Bedingungen nicht vorausgesetzt werden, so kann es sein, dass
breitere Landhausdielen sich optisch stärker verändern als schmale Dielen.
Mögliche Probleme bei unsachgemäßer Voraussetzungen sind:
ρρ Quellen und schwinden;
ρρ Schüsselung (Kann bis zu 1 mm auf 50 mm betragen);
ρρ Trockenrisse;
ρρ Längsseitige Verwindung (kann bis zu 4 mm auf 1000 mm betragen).
7. Akklimatisieren
Vor dem Verlegen sollte die Ware unbedingt 2–3 Tage in dem zu verlegenden
Raum gelagert werden, damit sich die Ware dem umgebenen Klima anpassen
kann.
8. Verlegen
Die ESCO-Landhausdiele und das ESCO-Parkett sind für eine Flachverlegung
geeignet. Das bedeutet, dass die Diele und das Parkett auf dem Estrich
sowohl verleimt als auch schwimmend bzw. auf eine Balkenlage verlegt
werden kann.
Bei den Verlegung auf eine Balkenlage muss jedoch beachtet werden, dass:
ρρ die Balken nicht mehr als 45 cm von einander gelegt werden dürfen,
um ein Durchbiegen der Dielen zu verhindern
Unsere Esco-Landhausdielen sind sehr einfach und schnell zu verlegen. Das
kommt daher, dass wir bei der Produktion darauf achten, dass die Toleranzen
im Nut-Feder Bereich nicht zu klein sind.
Vor dem Verlegen ist die angelieferte Ware gründlich zu kontrollieren.
Eventuelle Schäden müssen sofort reklamiert werden. Wird der Boden
verlegt, so akzeptiert man diesen auch.
Vor dem Verlegen muss darauf geachtet werden, dass man die Dielen
vorsortiert (Sortierung, Länge, Jahresringe), so dass man ein schönes
gleichmäßiges Bild vom rustikalen Landhausdielen erhält.
Aufgrund der geringfügigen Toleranzen kann es vorkommen, dass die
Landhausdielen in der Rechtwinkligkeit eine Differenz von ± 0,3 mm auf

Die Firma ESCO übernimmt keinerlei Haftung über den Zustand des
Unterbodens (Feuchtigkeit des Estrichs, Verlegeumstände, etc.).
Lassen zur Sicherheit in einem Neubau immer eine Feuchtigkeitsmessung
des Estrichs durchführen (Karbon-Messmethode, o.ä).
9. Muster
Ein Muster ist immer nur ein Beispiel, wie ein fertig verlegter Fußboden
aussehen kann. Es ist natürlich nicht möglich alle Beispiele aus einer Holz-Stil
in einem Muster zu vereinen. Lassen Sie sich daher immer in einer unserer
Ausstellungen beraten.
Musterflächen, können mit der Zeit eine andere Farbe bekommen wie eine
neu angelieferte Ware (Holz vergilbt, Ölpigmente und Räucherung werden
weniger). Daher sollten auch unsere Muster immer mit Osmo-Pflegemitteln
behandelt werden. Bei geräucherter Ware ist immer zu beachten, dass die
Dielen heller oder dunkler erscheinen können.
Falls Muster älter als 2 Jahre sind, sollte diese immer mit der neu angelieferten
Ware verglichen werden, um zu große Farbunterschiede zu vermeiden. Wenn
es nötig sein sollte, bestellen Sie bitte neue Muster.
10. Fertigparkett
Die Firma ESCO verarbeitet nur europäische Eiche.
Alle Produkten Fertigparketts produzieren wir in unserem eigenen Werk in
Tschechien.
Unseren Esco Exclusive Produkten in Massiv und Fertigparkett sehen identisch
aus!
11. Fussbodenheizung
Unser ESCO-Fertigparkett ist auf einen Estrich mit Fußbodenheizung
verlegbar.
Jedoch sollte dabei immer beachtet werden, dass:
ρρ Luftfeuchtigkeit zwischen 45 % – 65 %;
ρρ Holzfeuchte zwischen 9 % ± 2 %;
ρρ keine Teppiche;
ρρ die Oberfläche des Estrichs nicht mehr als 26 Grad aufweisen darf;
ρρ bei einer Wasserheizung, darf die Temperatur nicht mehr als 40 Grad
aufweisen;
ρρ der Boden muss langsam aufgeheizt werden;
ρρ ein geeigneter Kleber verwendet wird;
ρρ wenn die Fußbodenheizung als Hauptheizung verwendet wird, darf
der Boden nicht schwimmend verlegt werden;
ρρ bei einer Kombination von normalen Heizkörpern und
Fußbodenheizung große Gefahren für den Fußboden entstehen
können;
ρρ bei einer zu starken Erwärmung des Fußbodens, die Holzfeuchtigkeit
auf 5 % oder weniger sinken kann und wir somit auf das Produkt keine
Haftung mehr übernehmen;
ρρ bei einer Luftfeuchtigkeit unter 30 % und über 70 % spricht man von
extremen Unterschieden, wobei das Produkt extrem reagieren kann.
Werden diese vorgenannten Punkte nicht eingehalten, so kann es sein,
dass Verformungen, Trockenrisse, quellen und schwinden des Holzes, etc,
entstehen können.
Eine Verlegung von einer massiven Landhausdiele ist nur bei einer Stärke
von 14 mm möglich. Dabei ist aber zu akzeptieren dass eine stärkere
Fugenbildung vorkommen kann.

Technical Specifications for Esco engineered parquet and solid wood flooring
Please read through these specifications carefully. In the case of complaints
or claims these specifications are the basis for handling such. These technical
specifications are being accepted when ordering ESCO Products.
(5 2/3') and 40 % between 40 (1' 3") cm and 165 cm (5 2/3'). The longest
lengths are max. 280 cm (9'). Fixed lengths are only available upon request;
please contact the sales team for more info.
1. Wood type
ESCO Engineered flooring is being produced in random length.
ESCO CZ produces high-quality solid wood floors and parquet made of
European oak. Esco and all ESCO suppliers are PEFC and/or FSC, CE-certified,
DiBT. Our product emotions are delivered with a wood moisture content of
9 % ± 2 %. Oak is a product from Mother Nature. By applying special
treatments in combination with wood-style and colour ESCO creates an
atmosphere you are interested in. The origin of the oak will influence the
colour variations of the products and cannot be avoid.
Thickness 15 mm (5/8"), 18 mm (11/16") and 20 mm(3/4"): 3 layer products
come in different fix length, max. 3. All lengths are packed separately.
1820 mm (5' 11") till 2400 mm (8'). 2 layer products – 80 % longer than
1800 mm (5' 10") till 2400 mm (8'). Fix length are available upon request;
please contact the sales team for more info.
2. Quality control
All products undergo strict quality controls at several steps during
production.
The European oak has colour variation given by nature – these are to except.
All products are 100 % certificated and our production buildings are 100 %
acclimatized.
3. Wood-Style
From the 9 product emotions are 4 available in an adjustable wood-style.
The wood-styles are special Esco gradings that create the Esco identity.
The “cosmetics“ of the product emotion is superior to the wood-style and
therefore the description is not always leading.
The adjustable product emotions are: Chateau, Kolonial, Pelgrim, and Harfa.
Elegance

Our wood-styles are graded by hand after planing/machining. Despite
constant quality controls one wood-style might contain 5 % of another woodstyle. Furthermore we are not having any influence on the growth or annual
rings which are having effects on swelling or shrinking of the wood. As there
is no uniform EU-regulation for producing solid wood flooring our products
differ in length, width and tolerances to standard products such as parquet.
Product emotions Bohemia, Moravia, Sumava, Karel IV and Soft Tone have
special cosmetics and design. The wood-style is not adjustable.
4. Product Emotions
The Esco program has 9 product emotions and each of them has its unique
design, cosmetics and treatment given by the wood-style, colour, and
treatment and by the natural characteristics of oak.
All product emotions have their specific logo which stands for the emotion.
Product emotions are: Bohemia, Chateau, Moravia, Kolonial, Sumava, Harfa,
Pelgrim, Karel IV, and Soft Tone.
5. Production
Lengths
ESCO solid wooden flooring is being produced in random lengths.
Thickness 14 mm (9/16") and 20 mm (3/4"): 60 % are longer than 170 cm

Widths
Due to our raw-material purchasing system it might occur that widths can
differ at 5 mm (13/64") from the original order. The information about the
exact width will be stated in the customer’s order confirmation.
Bevel
Our products have a standard bevel of 1.2 mm (15/32") along two long sides.
This will minimize the danger of damage. We are able to offer 4-side bevelled
products upon request.
If a product without bevel is requested this means Wood-Style Original ONLY.
At uniform grading we can only fulfil 170 mm (6 11/16") width without bevel.
Tolerances
The tolerances for solid T&G in the area of the head edges are approx.
1 mm (3/64") to ensure an easy installation of solid wood flooring. The toplayer engineered of the oak have a tolerance in thickness based on the special
treatment. Average thickness is 4 mm (5/32") and in product detail:

Total thickness is guaranteed based on CE concept tolerances.
Filler
For our products Sumava, Bohemia, Moravia, Chateau and Kolonial we use
ecological filler which fully cures within 2 days. A special oil-mixture is being
used for our product Pelgrim to achieve its special look. This filler takes
approx. 14 days to fully cure and sinks into the filled knots.
Our products are being delivered with a wood moisture content of ± 9 %. This
equals approx. the climate (humidity) in European households.
are identical in cosmetics and colour as the same raw-material (European oak)
is used for production as well as the total production treatment.
Possible problems which might occur by having incorrect conditions are:
11. Under-floor heating
ρρ Swelling and shrinking;
ρρ Deformation (up to 1 mm on 50 mm) (up to 3/64" on 1 31/32");
ESCO multilayer Parquet is suitable for under-floor heating. But the following
subjects MUST be respected:
ρρ Drying cracks;
ρρ The humidity in the room is between 45–65 %;
ρρ Long side deformation (twisting) (up to 4 mm on 1000 mm lengths) (up
to 0,16 in on 39,37 in lengths).
ρρ The wood moisture content is 9 ± 2;
7. Acclimatisation
ρρ No carpets;
ρρ The under-floor´s temperature (floor pavement) must not exceed 26 °C;
The goods should be stored within the room it will be installed in for 2–3 days
to adapt to its climate/environment.
ρρ With a water-heating system the temperature must not exceed 40 °C;
8. Installation
ρρ Suitable glue for installation must be used;
ESCO multi-layer products are suitable for floating installation. Solid wood
floors are suitable for „glue-down“ or drilling method on sub-construction.
ρρ If the under-floor heating is the main heating system the floor MUST
not be installed floating;
Installation on sub-construction:
ρρ The combination of standard radiators AND under-floor heating can be
dangerous for the floor;
The distance between the sub-construction beams MUST NOT exceed 45 cm
(1' 5 23/32") to avoid bending of the floor planks. Our solid wood planks are
easy to install due to the higher tolerances at tongue and groove.
Before installation the goods have to be checked thoroughly. Possible
damages have to be claimed immediately. By installing the floor it is being
accepted!
To achieve an even and nice look we recommend pre-sorting the wood
planks (wood-style, annual rings and lengths). Due to insignificant tolerances
it might occur that the planks show a rectangular difference of ± 3 mm (1/8")
on 50 mm (2"). This has to be considered.
ESCO CZ Production does assume no liability for the condition of the subfloor
(moisture content of subfloor, installation conditions e.g.). Subfloors in new
buildings should undergo a moisture measurement according to national
regulations.
9. Samples
Floor samples are always ONLY showing examples of how a floor type can
look like! It is not possible to show examples of wood-styles and eventually
upcoming natural wood colours in just one small floor sample. We
therefore recommend to get informed in our showrooms (or our customers’
showroom).
ρρ The floor must be heated slowly;
ρρ If the floor is overheated the wood moisture content can go below
5 % – ESCO then can assume no liability for the floor;
ρρ Humidity below 30 % or above 70 % is considered to be extreme
conditions. In such conditions the floor can react extreme (cracking,
cupping, e.g.).
If the above stated subjects are in doubt or not adhered to the floor can
deform due to extreme swelling and shrinking, crack etc.
Solid wood floors for under-floor heating are suitable only at a thickness of
14 mm (9/16"). It has to be accepted that bigger gaps between the boards
will/might occur.
Esco respect the general warrantee based on the law of the country where
the floor has been imported and sold in combination with the tolerances of
CE and the TA Esco.

Smoking
When smoking oak floors a certain amount of ammoniac is put into the
smoking chamber. The tannin-acid of our European oak reacts with the
ammoniac and creates the floor’s dark colour and appearance. As not every
piece of oak contains the same amount of tannin the colour and appearance
of smoked oak can vary. A customer’s floor therefore can contain oak boards
with lighter or darker colours. ESCO products are not fumigated to the core
but ± 2 mm (0,08 in) into the surface. With double-smoked products the
surface appears in a black-reddish colour shade. Smoked oak will contain
natural colour differences and are therefore no reasons for complaints.
Hardwax Oil Surface
All colour shades incl. the final Topcoat are being cured ready for packing
through UV-rays. The surface is dual-curing and therefore cures further with
oxygen and optimizes its features (natural air drying).
The Hardwax Oil surface protects the wood against wear & tear and allows
the ESCO products to be „ready to install“ without any maintenance or use of
soaps after installation.
Karel IV is the only product oiled and finished with 3 layers of Esco hard-wax
oil. After installation a protective end finishing is not needed but is possible.
Maintenance in first 3 weeks – be careful with water as the oil must dry out
and get strong.
6. Swelling and Shrinking of Wood
Solid wood is „working“ within certain tolerances of ± 3 %. This means that
if the humidity in e.g. a room is changing the width and thickness of a solid
floor plank (depending of direction of annual rings) can change.

S objednávkou Esco produktů souhlasíte s následujícími technickými
specifikacemi.
Esco vyrábí masivní prkna v napadajících délkách
1. Druh dřeva
Firma Esco vyrábí vysoce kvalitní masivní prkna a vícevrstvé dubové podlahy
z evropského dubu. Stejně jako ESCO tak i každý náš dodavatel je PEFC
certifikován a/nebo majitelem CE certifikátu, FSC certifikátu, DiBT certifikátu.
Vlhkost výrobků je v rozmezí 9 % ± 2 %. Dub je přírodní materiál. Původ dubu
ovlivňuje barevnostní rozdíly hotového výrobku a nelze se jim vyvarovat. Při
aplikaci speciálních povrchových úprav ve spojení se vzhledem dřeva a barvy
Esco přináší atmosféru, kterou jste si vysnili.
2. Kontrola kvality
Všechny naše produkty podléhají neustálé kontrole.
Materiál je průběžně kontrolován od příjmu na sklad až po expedici hotových
podlah.
Evropský dub obsahuje přírodní barevnosti, které jsou dány přirozeným
růstem stromu, a tudíž se musí akceptovat.
Všechny výrobky jsou 100 % certifikované. Výrobní haly jsou 100 %
aklimatizované.
3. Vzhled dřeva
Z 9 výrobků jsou 4 dostupné v níže uvedených vzhledech. Níže uvedené
vzhledy dřeva jsou speciální třídění jedinečné pro ESCO produkty. Popis
vzhledů je vodítkem s jistou tolerancí, jelikož výrobek musí být vnímán jako
celek.
Výrobky, které jsou dostupné v níže uvedených vzhledech, jsou: Chateau,
Kolonial, Pelgrim a Harfa.

Po hoblování jsou výrobky ručně tříděny. I přes kontrolu se mohou v dané
třídě objevit prvky jiné kvalitativní třídy – max 5 %. Prkna dodáváme
v radiálním i tangenciálním řezu. To může ovlivnit rozměrové a tvarové změny
podlahy.
Výrobky Bohemia, Moravia, Sumava, Karel IV a Soft Tone mají speciální vzhled
a design. Vzhled dřeva je neměnný.
4. Produkty
ESCO program momentálně nabízí 9 produktů, kdy každý má svůj unikátní
design, vzhled a úpravu. Tyto jedinečné vlastnosti jsou dány vzhledem dřeva,
barvou, povrchovou úpravou a přírodní charakteristikou dubu.
Každý výrobek je reprezentován pod svou vlastní identitou a nese vlastní
unikátní charakteristiku.
Naše jedinečné výrobky jsou: Bohemia, Chateau, Moravia, Kolonial, Sumava,

6. Rozměrové změny prken
11. Podlahové topení
Masivní dřevo pracuje v toleranci ± 3 %. To znamená, že při změně relativní
vlhkosti a uspořádání letokruhů se může měnit šířka a délka prken. Naše prkna
mají relativní vlhkost 9 % ± 2 %. To odpovídá klimatu evropských domácnosti.
Vícevrstvé podlahy ESCO jsou vhodné pokládat na podlahové topení.
Vždy se musí dbát na následující:
ρρ Vlhkost vzduchu mezi 45–65 %;
Maximální délka prkna může být 280 cm.
V místnosti, kde se podlaha pokládá, by měla byt relativní vlhkost vzduchu
45–65 %. Jestliže nemohou být dodrženy tyto podmínky, může se stát, že
po položení dojde k rozměrovým změnám prken.
Fixní délky jsou možné na základě poptávky.
Možné problémy při nevhodných podmínkách:
ρρ Povrchová teplota dřevěné podlahy nesmí přesáhnout 28 °C;
Esco vyrábí vícevrstvé podlahy v napadajících délkách
ρρ Rozpínavost a srážlivost;
Při tloušťce 15 mm, 18 mm a 20 mm:
ρρ Průhyby (mohou byt až 1 mm na 50 mm);
ρρ 3vrstvé podlahy jsou maximálně ve 3 fixních délkách, tj. 1820 mm,
2112 mm, 2400 mm. Všechny délky jsou baleny samostatně.
ρρ 2vrstvé podlahy: 1200 mm – 2400 mm, max. 2400 mm
Fixní délky jsou možné na základě poptávky.
Šířka
Výrobce Esco si vyhrazuje právo dodat podlahu v šířkové toleranci ± 0,5 cm
(přiklad – zákazník si objedná šířku 17 cm, může dostat šířku 16,5 cm nebo
17 cm nebo 17,5 cm).
Fáze
Naše výrobky jsou standardně vyráběny s podélnou fází 1,2 mm. Na přání
zákazníka je možné vyrobit fázi na všech čtyřech stranách. Prkna vyrábíme
i bez fáze standardně v třídění ORIGINAL. V případě požadavku na jiný vzhled
dřeva vyrábíme prkna bez fáze v šířce 17 cm.
Tolerance
Tolerance v oblasti drážky a pera a na čelních stranách je ± 1 mm, aby bylo
možné tyto prkna snadno položit.
Nášlapná vrstva u vícevrstvých podlah má toleranci závislou na použité
povrchové úpravě. Průměrná tloušťka lamely je 4 mm. U jednotlivých
produktů je to potom následovně:
ρρ Bez povrchové úpravy
± 4,1 mm – 3,8 mm průměr
ρρ Bohemia – Chateau
± 4,1 mm – 3,6 mm průměr
ρρ Moravia – Kolonial – Sumava
± 4,1 mm – 3,6 mm průměr

7. Aklimatizace
Před pokládkou by měla byt podlaha bezpodmínečně 5–10 dnů v místnosti,
kde se bude pokládat. V místnosti musí být ale klima, které bude pro daný
prostor standardní.
8. Pokládka
Esco prkna jsou určena pro plošnou pokládku. To znamená, že prkna je
vhodné pokládat na beton (případně vystěrkovaný) lepením nebo pokládat
jako plovoucí podlahy (pouze v případě třívrstvých podlah).
Při pokládce na rošty je nutné dbát na:
Rošty nesmí byt od sebe vzdáleny více než 40 cm, aby se zabránilo prohnutí
prken (pouze v případě masivních podlah). ESCO podlahy je možné rychle
a snadno pokládat, z toho důvodu, že při výrobě dbáme na to, aby tolerance
v oblasti perodrážka nebyly příliš malé.
Před pokládkou je nutné zboží zkontrolovat. Případné závady je nutné ihned
reklamovat. Jakmile je podlaha položena, znamená to, že zákazník takto
dodanou podlahu akceptuje.
9. Vzorky
Vzorky mají pouze orientační charakter. Pro více informací na Vámi zvolený
produkt, prosím kontaktujte naše obchodní oddělení, popřípadě oddělení
našich obchodních partnerů.
ρρ Vlhkost dřeva mezi 9 ± 2 %;
ρρ Žádné koberce;
ρρ Při vodním topeni nesmi teplota překročit 40 °C;
ρρ Podlaha se musí pomalu zahřívat (náběhový diagram je nutností);
ρρ Musí byt použito vhodné lepidlo;
ρρ Podlaha se nesmí pokládat jako plovoucí;
ρρ Je třeba počítat s určitými rozměrovými změnami – není předmětem
případné reklamace;
ρρ Při vlhkosti vzduchu pod 30 % a nad 70 % mluvíme o extrémních
rozdílech, produkt může extremně reagovat.
V případě nedodržení výše jmenovaných bodů se může stát, že dojde
k deformaci prken, prasklinám atd.
Pokládka masivních prken na podlahové topeni je možná pouze v tloušťce
14 mm, aby se předešlo tvorbě větších spár. Spíše ale doporučujeme
na podlahové topeni použit vícevrstvé podlahy.
12. Certifikáty
Všechny produkty jsou certifikovány následovně:

Kytováni
U výrobků Sumava, Chateau, Kolonial, Bohemia, Moravia je používán
ekologicky kyt, který po dvou dnech plně vytvrdne.
Naše postaršené produkty Pelgrim jsou kytovány antickou ekologickou
olejovou směsí. Tento kyt vytvrdne teprve po 14 dnech a po čase se mírně
propadne.
Čpavkování
Při čpavkování je dáno do čpavkové komory určité množství amoniaku, které
reaguje s tříslovinou obsaženou v dubu. Tímto procesem dostávají prkna
tmavou barvu. Protože každé prkno obsahuje jiné množství tříslovin, není
možné zaručit zákazníkovi barevnostní jednotnost. Firma ESCO čpavkuje
prkna pouze povrchově. Hloubka je mezi ± 2 mm. Při dvojitém čpavkování
(čpavek pronikne hlouběji do prkna) vznikne lehce červenočerný barevný
odstín. Tyto barevné odstíny čpavkovaných podlah nejsou důvodem
k reklamaci.
Olejovaní
Všechny barevné varianty včetně vrchní ochranné vrstvy jsou vytvrzovány
pomocí UV záření. Vrchní vrstva má účel chránit proti mechanickému
poškození. Díky tomuto postupu jsou naše prkna označována jako hotovy
výrobek. Není nutná žádná další úprava.
Prosím, berte na vědomí, že povrchová úprava tvrdým voskovým olejem
může místy vykazovat oproti lakovaným podlahám hrubější povrch, který se
však používáním a údržbou podlahy postupně ztrácí.
Karel IV je jediný výrobek, který díky svému jedinečnému charakteru vyžaduje
ruční olejování a to v podobě 3 vrstev tvrdého voskového oleje ESCO.
Po instalaci, v případě vaší volby, je možné aplikovat ochranný olej. V prvních
třech týdnech nedoporučujeme používat vodu při údržbě ručně olejované
