Zájmová skupina Evropského parlamentu
pro prevenci karcinomu děložního čípku
vítá, že za rakouského předsednictví v
červnu 2006 uznala Rada ve svých závěrech
karcinom děložního čípku za závažnou hrozbu pro zdraví žen.
Zájmová skupina Evropského parlamentu pro prevenci karcinomu děložního čípku spolu s Evropskou asociací pro prevenci
karcinomu děložního čípku a mnoha dalšími oranizacemi po celé
Evropě nyní vyzývá Evropský parlament, Evropskou komisi a vlády
evropských zemí:
1. Aby neúnavně pracovaly na zavedení účinných populačně založených
organizovaných screeningových programů pro prevenci karcinomu
děložního čípku v souladu se směrnicemi EU pro zajištění kvality při
screeningu pro prevenci karcinomu děložního čípku spolu s profesionálně
organizovanými zdravotnickými osvětovými programy a zajistily tak, že
všechny ženy budou moci plně využít služeb, které jsou pro ně k dispozici.
2. Aby podporovaly výměnu informací o nejlepších postupech mezi
členskými zeměmi a umožnily tak uplatnění špičkových odborných znalostí, kterými disponují některé členské země, na území celé Evropské unie.
3. Aby podporovaly nezávislý populačně založený výzkum zaměřený na co
nejlepší uplatnění nových metod, které máme k dispozici, v rámci zdravotnických programů a tak napomohly maximálnímu snížení výskytu karcinomu děložního čípku na území celé Evropské unie.
4. Aby uznaly a podporovaly významný podíl charitativních a nevládních
organizací a dobrovolníků na průběžném snižování výskytu karcinomu
děložního čípku v Evropě.
