SLOVO
Nechte se pozvat na jih od Plzně do oblasti vymezené městy Nepomuk a Spálené
Poříčí. Do území proslulého krásou přírody
a opředeného množstvím legend, na území
svatého Jana Nepomuckého, akademického
malíře Augustina Němejce, generála Václava
Šáry či pátera Františka Ferdy, do míst, která proslavil Miloslav Švandrlík svými romány
o černých baronech.
Turistický bulletin MAS sv. Jana z Nepomuku
oslovuje osoby, a nebojíme se říci, že i osobnosti Nepomucka a Spálenopoříčska, které
se podílejí na jeho současné propagaci a rozvoji, především v oblastech cestovního ruchu.
Jejich nápady a tipy na výlety nás častokrát
zavedou na místa možná méně věhlasná,
než jakými jsou zámky Zelená Hora a Spálené Poříčí nebo kostel sv. Jana Nepomuckého
v Nepomuku. Za to však zprostředkovávají
pestrou nabídku „živých“ aktivit a zajímavostí, které, ač nevelkým rozsahem, trefně
zapadají a zatraktivňují malebně zvlněnou

Das touristische Bulletin LAG des hl. Johannes von Nepomuk spricht Menschen an,
und wir trauen uns zu sagen, dass auch die
Persönlichkeiten aus der Region Nepomuk
und Spálené Poříčí, die sich an ihrer derzeitigen Förderung und Entwicklung vor allem
auf dem Fremdenverkehrsgebiet beteiligen.

KDE JEST „MÍLO BÝTI“
aneb za prameny bio smyslů
Lidé dnešní doby přichází o přirozený vztah
k přírodě, k životu a hospodaření v ní. Hlavně
děti si již neuvědomují souvislosti mezi chlebem v regále supermarketu a pěstováním
obilí na poli, či jogurtem v lednici a krávou
pasoucí se na louce. Trend využívání potravinových polotovarů mění naše stravovací
návyky, životní prostředí poznáváme raději
prostřednictvím televizních a počítačových
monitorů.
Tak trochu proti proudu se rozhodli jít manželé Moulisovi na své ekologické farmě, kde
kromě krav plemene Masný Simentál chovají
i koně, ovce a kozy. Farma situovaná na okraji
obce Milínov, kde podle dávné pověsti jest
„mílo býti“, byť podmínky pro život tu nejsou

dělství, v čem se liší jeho produkty a jak je
poznat v obchodě. Zúčastní se ochutnávkové
bio x nebio soutěže. Každý učenlivý účastník
pak obdrží pravý výuční list čeledína/děvečky
Farmy Moulisových. Přičemž účastníci těchto
aktivit nejsou v žádném případě omezeni věkem, mladí tu poznávají život svých dědečků
a babiček a ti dříve narození se s námi mohou
při vůni sena a čerstvě upečeného chleba vrátit na venkov svých dětských let. A po náročném dni, plném zážitků a nových informací
na farmě můžete přespat, třeba i ve stodole
na seně.

činnosti, ale je také ideálním místem naučného zážitkového programu „Za moudry sedláků“. Během nich se účastníci na statku podílí
pod vedením i samostatně na práci a životě
farmáře. Cílem je zážitkovou formou zprostředkovat zemědělskou teorii ze školních
lavic. Děti tak o zemědělství nejen uslyší, ale
jej i uvidí, ucítí, ochutnají a dotknou se ho doslova vlastníma rukama. Nadojí si mléko, ze
smetany ztlučou máslo, cepem vymlátí obilí,
které umelou na mouku a upečou si z ní křupavý domácí chléb. Zajezdí si na koni a stihnou se skamarádit i s dalšími hospodářskými
zvířaty, naučí se, jak o ně správně pečovat.

u České jezdecké federace. Pod vedením profesionální trenérky se tu s koňmi seznamují jak dospělí, tak děti. Vlastní
koníky českého teplokrevníka, ale i huculky, které jsou díky
své klidné povaze vhodné pro rekreační jezdce na vyjížďky
do nádherných okolních lesů. U Moulisů se zároveň můžete ubytovat v nově zrekonstruovaném penzionu rodinného charakteru s kachlovými kamny a pecí (kapacita cca
20 lůžek). Součástí je maličká, občasná stylová restaurace,
která tvoří vhodné zázemí zejména pro pořádání seminářů, rodinných oslav, sešlostí apod. Hostům na penzionu je
zajištěno soukromí, rovnou ze dveří vyjdou na terasu a zahrádku u pastviny s koníky, kozičkami a ovečkami. K dispozici je zde také gril, ruské kuželky, basketbalový koš, obří

Leute heutiger Zeit kommen um ihr natürliches
Verhältnis zum Leben, zur Natur und zum Wirtschaften in der Natur. Vor allem Kinder werden
sich nicht mehr Zusammenhänge unter dem
Brot im Supermarkt und Kornbau auf Felden
bewusst, oder unter einem Joghurt im Kühlschrank und weidender Kuh auf der Wiese. Die
Trendentwicklung, wo wir kochwertige Speisen
nützen, ändert unsere Essgewohnheiten, die
Umwelt lernen wir lieber durch Fernseh- oder
Computermonitore kennen.
Eheleute Moulis haben sich entschieden, auf
ihrer Ökofarm ein bisschen wider den Strom
zu gehen. Sie züchten Kühe Mastrasse Simental, außerdem züchten sie auch Pferde, Schafe
und Ziegen. Die am Rande des Dorfes Milínov
ligende Farm, wo nach einer uralten Ortssage
angenehm zu weilen ist, obwohl die Lebensbedingungen hier gerade nicht leicht sind, dient
jedoch nicht nur zur Wirtschaftstätigkeit, sondern die Farm ist auch ein idealer Platz für belehrendes Erlebnisprogramm “Auf dem Wege zu

Weisheit alter Bauer“. Während des Programms
beteiligen sich die Teilnehmer – selbständig
oder unter Führungan der Arbeit und an dem
Leben des Farmer. Das Ziel ist durch Erlebnisform landwirtschaftliche Teorie aus der Schulbänker zu vermitteln. Die Kinder können über
die Landwirtschaft nicht nur hören, sie können
sie sehen, empfinden, kosten und wörtlich mit
eigenen Händen angreifen. Sie können Milk ermelken, aus dem Rahm Butter buttern, mit dem
Flegel Getreide ausdreschen. Sie nehmen am
Kostprobenwettbewerb bio x nichtbio teil. Jeder gelehrige Teilnehmer erhält dann ein echtes
Lehrzeugnis als Dienstknecht oder Dienstmagd
an der Familie Moulis Farm. Und dabei werden
die Teilnehmer auf keinen Fall mit ihrem Alter
nicht beschränkt, die Jugendlichen lernen hier
das Leben ihrer Omas und Opas kennen, und
die früher geborenen können mit uns bei Heuduft und Duft von frisch gebackenem Brot aufs

Land ihrer Kinderzeiten zurückkehren. Und nach
einem anspruchsvollem Tag können Sie in der
Farm übernachten, zum Beispiel in der Scheune
auf dem Heu.
Aber das ist vom weiten nicht alles, was Familie
Moulis Farm anbietet. Die Farm besitzt Tschechischen Warmblüter – Pferde, aber auch Hucul
– Pferde, die dank ihrem ruhigen Naturell für
Erholungsreiter zu Ausritte in wunderschöne
umgebende Wälder geeignet sind. Sie können
sich auch in neu rekonstruirter Familienpension
unterbringen. (Kapazität 20 Betten.) Die Pension ist mit Kachel- und Backofen ausgerüstet.
Als Bestandteil befindet sich heir auch ein sehr
kleines Stillrestaurant, das geeignetes Nebenraum vor allem für Veranstalten von Seminären,
Familienfeiern, Treffen u.a. bildet. Die Pensiongäste haben vollen Privatraum gesichert, sie
gehen gerade aus der Tür auf die Terrasse und in
kleinen Garten an der Weide, wo kleine Pferde,
kleine Ziegen und Schafe laufen.

Mit großer Interesse und Begeisterung veranstalten wir unter Taktstock eines Profi Kochs in
unserer Farm Kochkurse. Man kann hier eine
Menge von neuen Zubereitungsarten von Rindfleisch, anderen Fleischsorten und Rohstoffe
kennenlernen, Hand in Hand mit Trenden gegenwärtiger und gesunder Gastronmie. Und bei
uns gilt es noch dazu – was man sich kocht, mus
man auch aufessen. Rindfleisch, Kalbfleisch,
Zickleinfleisch, oder Schweinfleisch, alles in bioQalität, können Sie bei uns nach Verabrede auch
einkaufen, dabei seine Qualität und Geschmack
die beste Werbung machen.

Nowadays people lose their relationship with nature, with
life and with work with (and) in nature. Children no longer
perceive the connection between a loaf of bread in a grocery
shop and a growing wheat in a field, they do not see the link
between a yoghurt and a cow in a pasture. The trend of using
“oven-ready” foods changes our eating habits; we learn about
the environment from Tv or computer screens.
Moulises, a married couple, decided to go a bit against the
mainstream on their ecological farm where they breed - apart
from cows of the Meat Simmental race - also horses, sheep
and goats. The farm is situated on the verge of Milinov village, where as a tradition claims one can “nicely be” (in English we would call the village Nicelton or so), although conditions for life are not amongst the easiest here. The farm
is not only used for agricultural purposes, but also provides
ideal spot for a lively educational program “In the footsteps
of wise countrymen”. During the program participants take
an active part in the life and work of a farmer, sometimes
being lead and shown by a farmer, sometimes on their own.
The main objective of the program is to practically convey the
agricultural theory - children in this way
explore the agricultural world using all
senses: they not only hear (about) it, but
they see it, smell it, taste it and get literally a first hand experience. They will
milk a cow, produce butter from a fresh
cream, thresh crops with a flail and then
will grind it into a flour from which they
will bake a crunchy fragrant bread. They
will ride a horse, make friends with other
farm animals and learn how to take care
of them. Every diligent participant will
receive a genuine Moulises’ Farm Groom
/ Farm maid Apprenticeship Certificate
in the end. It is good to accent that the
participants are not limited by age at all.
And when the day filled with hard work,
exciting experiences and new information is over, you can stay
overnight and sleep even in a barn on hay.
This is not by far all the farm has to offer. At Moulises’ you can

seek an accommodation in a newly refurbished family type guest-house featuring
an original big tile stove. The guest-house can sleep up to 20 people. A stylish,
tiny restaurant open for special occasions such as workshops, family celebrations,
gatherings etc. is yet another part of the guest-house. Privacy of guests is implied
as a mater of fact, the front door opens to a terrace and a garden next to the
pasture for horses, goats and sheep. Guests have also at their disposal a barbecue, table skittles, a basketball yard, a huge springboard, swings for children,
bikes (a baby cart available too!), in-line skate track and other free time activities
equipment.

can also arrange with us to buy beef, veal, kid, lamb or pork, all bio quality. It’s

NEPOMUKEM VOLNÝM KROKEM

Hned čtyři expozice v jednom městečku,
z toho tři úplně nové. I s touto atraktivitou
vstupuje město Nepomuk do turistické sezóny 2011 a nastavuje tak svou náruč turistům
a návštěvníkům.
Když se postavíme na práh Hotelu U Zeleného stromu a rozhlédneme se kolem sebe,
je první věcí, která upoutá naši pozornost,
výstavní budova městského muzea, bývalá
městská radnice. A původní centrum města
se nám tak vhodně nabízí jako první zastávka našeho putování po městě Nepomuku.
Uvnitř muzea, protaženého svým prohlídkovým okruhem i do bývalé piaristické koleje, najdeme expozici s názvem Zelená Hora
a Černí baroni, poukazující nejen na nedaleký
raně barokní zámek, ale i zfilmovaný román

Interiér muzea v Nepomuku
spisovatele Miloslava Švandrlíka, který celý
zámecký komplex ještě více proslavil. Kromě
toho v muzeu najdeme expozici loutek, měšťanskou místnost, selskou jizbu a další sbírky
převážně z nepomuckého regionu. V přízemí
muzea je umístěna Malá galerie.
Město Nepomuk se pyšní dvěma významnými rodáky. Tím prvním je svatý Jan Nepomucký, který má díky Svatojánské matici
ve zdejším chrámu novou expozici, ve které
se například dozvíte, zda Jan zaplatil životem
za to, že odmítl vyzradit zpovědní tajemství
své paní, nebo zda je pravda, tak jak to obyčejně bývá, úplně někde jinde. A ten druhý
slavný rodák, mistr Augustin Němejc, má
díky městu nově zrekonstruovaný rodný dům
v horní části náměstí, který zároveň slouží

jako výstavní galerie jeho vzácných děl. Kromě repliky plzeňské opony divadla J. K. Tyla,
jeho nejcennějšího a nejznámějšího díla, zde
můžeme spatřit především originální plátna,
včetně jeho posledního s názvem Rozsévač,
které bylo původně určeno pro prezidenta
T. G. Masaryka. Chcete-li vědět, k čemu sloužila malířovi dřevěná loutka Ferda, navštivte
jeho rodný dům.
Kousek nad náměstím, na druhé zastávce
naučné stezky Pod Zelenou Horou, najdeme
budovu staré Zelenohorské pošty. Při návštěvě města v ní přespal například císař Josef II.
Dnes můžete navštívit v bývalých stájích Stálou expozici historické techniky. Prostory
zaplnily motocykly, které brázdily v éře 1. republiky silnice Nepomucka. Ke zhlédnutí zde

SOCHORA
jsou značky československé výroby, ale i množství tehdy
masově dovážených strojů zejména britské, francouzské
a americké provenience. Nádvoří pak patří zemědělským
strojům z počátku 20. století, poukazující na to, že Zelenohorská pošta bývala kdysi také největším hospodářstvím
v Nepomuku.
Po značené naučné stezce se můžeme vydat až do obce
Klášter, kdysi významného cisterciáckého kláštera naší
země, vypáleného husitskými bojovníky. Do tamní klášterní školy se údajně plavil na loďkách i sv. Jan, tehdy Johánek z Pomuku. Dominantou obce je dnes kromě kostela
sv. Markéty i zdejší rybník, založený samotnými cisterciáckými mnichy. Pokud jste byli v nepomuckém muzeu pozorní, jistě neušla Vašemu pohledu malá vitrínka s předměty, vylovenými z klášterského rybníka v roce 2010 při
odbahňování. Středověké šipky, prsten, koňský třmen či
prastará klika od dveří kláštera, to je jen část předmětů,
které uchovávalo dno tamního rybníka po celá staletí, aby
je vydalo na obdiv našim generacím až nyní a přiblížilo nám
tak zároveň krásu i zkázu mocného klášterního konventu,
ve kterém byl údajně hlavní chrám se zlatou střechou (pouze v sezóně 2011). Z obce Klášter pak pokračujeme po Naučné stezce kolem barokního Červeného mostu a kapličky
Šlépěje svatého Vojtěcha zpět na Nepomucké náměstí, kde
procházku zakončíme v Restaurantu U Zeleného stromu.

K příjemnému výletu kolem Nepomuku vás zve Hotel a Švejk restaurant U Zeleného stromu.
Objekt, který se také neodmyslitelně zapsal do dějin tohoto kraje. První zmínka o domě se
datuje někde do r. 1723. Hlavním mezníkem je však rok 1909, kdy stavba získala jméno Zelený strom a funkcionalitu hotelu a hostince. Přijďte ho pozdravit a ochutnat, co vám nabídne.
Něco dobrého s Chutí monarchie. Chuti monarchie je nekončící gastronomický seriál, který
vám tento restaurant nabízí. Každý měsíc připravuje místní kuchyně něco z tradičních receptur třeba starého dobrého Rakouska-Uherska. Po dobrém jídle se tu dá i vyspat v pokojích,
které jsou stylově vybaveny a voní taktéž atmosférou roku 1909.

Gleich vier Ausstellungen in einer Stadt, davon
drei völlig neu. Auch mit dieser Attraktivität tretet die Stadt Nepomuk (deutsch Pomuk) in die
touristische Saison 2011 und heißt die Touristen
und Besucher mit offenen Armen willkommen.
Wenn wir uns an den Eingang des Hotels U Zeleného stromu (Zum Grünen Baum) stellen und
sich umschauen, erste Sache, die unsere Aufmerksamkeit fesseln wird, ist das Ausstellungsgebäude des Stadtmuseums, das ehemalige
Rathaus. Und das historische Stadtzentrum bietet sich uns somit als erster Aufenthaltsort unseres Spazierganges durch die Stadt Nepomuk
an. Im Museum, das mit seinem Besichtigungsrundgang bis in das ehemalige Piaristeninternat
reicht, finden wir eine Ausstellung unter dem
Namen Zelená Hora (Grünberg) und Černí baroni (Die Schwarzen Barone), die nicht nur auf das
unweite Frühbarockschloss, sondern auch auf
den verfilmten Roman des Schriftstellers Miloslav
Švandrlík, der das ganze Schlosskomplex noch
mehr berühmt machte, hindeutet. Außerdem
finden wir im Museum eine Marionettenausstellung, einen Bürgerraum, eine Bauernstube und
weitere Sammlungen, die überwiegend aus der
Region Nepomuk stammen. Im Erdgeschoss des
Museums befindet sich die Kleine Galerie.
Die Stadt Nepomuk rühmt sich mit zwei bedeutenden Söhnen der Stadt. Der erste ist hl. Johann von Nepomuk, der dank des St.-Johannes
Bürgervereins (Svatojánská matice) eine neue
Ausstellung in der hiesigen Kirche hat. Und
der zweite berühmte Landesmann, der Meister
Augustin Němejc, hat dank der Stadt ein neu
rekonstruiertes Geburtshaus im oberen Teil
des Stadtplatzes, das gleichzeitig als eine Ausstellungsgalerie seiner kostbaren Werke dient.
Falls Sie wissen wollen, wozu dem Maler die
Holzpuppe „Ferda“ diente, besuchen Sie sein
Geburtshaus.
Ein Stück hinter dem Stadtplatz, auf dem zweiten Aufenthaltsort des Lehrpfades Pod Zelenou
Horou (Unter dem Grünberg), finden wir das
Gebäude der alten Post Zelená Hora. Bei seinem

Den Lehrpfad entlang können wir bis zur Gemeinde Klášter (Kloster) gelangen, einmal eines bedeutenden Zisterzienserklosters unseres
Landes, das von den Hussiten niedergebrannt
wurde. In die dortige Klosterschule hat sich angeblich auf Booten auch der hl. Johann, damals
Johánek aus Pomuk genannt, befahren. Eine
Dominante der Gemeinde stellt heute außer
der Kapelle der Hl. Margarethe auch der hiesige Teich dar, der von den Zisterziensermönchen
gegründet wurde. Von der Gemeinde Klášter
gehen wir weiter auf dem Lehrpfad an der barocken Roten Brücke und der Kapelle Šlépěje svatého Vojtěcha (Spuren des Hl. Adalbert) vorbei
und gelangen wieder zurück zum NepomukerPlatz, auf dem wir unseren Spaziergang im Restaurant U Zeleného stromu beenden.

datiert. Als Hauptmarkstein wird jedoch das
Jahr 1909 bezeichnet, als das Gebäude den Namen Zelený strom (Grüner Baum) und die Funktionalität eines Hotels und eines Gasthauses

Four expositions at once in one city, three of which brand new.
With them the city of Nepomuk enters the touristic season
2011 and thus welcomes its visitors and tourists to its embrace.
Standing on the threshold of the Hotel U Zeleného stromu (The
Green Tree hotel), looking around, the first thing that attracts
one’s attention is the Exposition building of the Civic Museum
- the former town hall. The original city center is a good place
to start our walkabout through Nepomuk. Inside the museum
- which is connected with the former piaristic dormitory by the
guided tour - we find the exposition called “Green mountain
and Black Barons” referring not only to the nearby early-baroque castle, but also to the filmmaking based on the novel by
Miloslav Švandrlík, which brought greater fame to the castle
complex. Apart from that, the museum features exposition of
puppets, room of burgesses, peasants’ parlor and other collections mainly from the region of Nepomuk. Ground floor of
the museum accommodates Little gallery.
The city of Nepomuk prides in two memorable natives. The
first of them is Saint John of Nepomuk to whom, thanks to
Svatojánská matice (The fellowship of St. John), the new exposition in the local church is dedicated. You can find out whether he paid the highest price - his life, for not betraying confession secrets of his Lady or, as is usually the case, the truth is
elsewhere. The second of the two, master Augustin Němejc
whose native house, in the upper part of the square, has been
reconstructed on the expense of the city, and now shelters the
gallery of his precious works. Apart from a copy of the curtain
designed for Pilsen’s Theatre of J. K. Tyl, his most precious and
most famous work, we get to see his originals including The
Sower, originally designated for the president T. G. Masaryk. If
you want to know what for was Ferda, a wooden toy, used by
the master, visit his native house.
Just a short walk above the square, on the second stop of
the educational trail “Below the Green mountain”, we find
the building of old Green mountain post office. Josef the II.
spent the night there during his visit of the city. Nowadays you
can visit the Permanent exposition of historical machinery in
the former stables. The space is bustling with motorbikes that
used to roam the roads of Nepomuk county in the 20‘s of the

last century. Brands produced in Czechoslovakia are to be seen here along with
then massively imported ones from Britain, France or U.S. The courtyard is filled
with agricultural machines from the beginning of the 20th century, proving that
Green mountain Post office used to be aslo the biggest farmstead of Nepomuk.
The marked educational trail will lead us to the village Klášter, once important Cistercian monastery of our country, burnt down by Hussites. Allegedly St. John himself used to ship on boat to the monastery’s school. The dominant of the village is,
apart from the Church of St. Margaret, local pond founded by Cistercian monks.
If you were attentive during the visit of the museum in Nepomuk, certainly you
noticed the small show window with objects dredged from the pond during the
cleansing in 2010. Medieval times darts, ring, stirrup, or ancient door handle from
monastery... these are only some of the items that were preserved in the mud on
the bottom of the pond for the long centuries only to give them up now for the
benefit of our generations - to reveal both beauty and downfall of the mighty
monastery convent, a part of which was the main church with golden roof. (Only
in 2011 season). From the village Klášter we may carry on the trail leading around
the baroque Red Bridge and the chapel of „Footsteps of the St. Vojtech“ back to
the Nepomuk squage where we finish the walk in the Green Tree restaurant.

PŘÍRODY aneb za prameny romantiky
Naši procházku po Spáleném Poříčí začneme
hned u názvu města, který přímo symbolizuje historii a osud tohoto malebného podbrdského městečka. Původní název, odvozený
z popisu polohy sídla při řece a podle řeky,
doplnil po roce 1620 přídomek „spálené“,
neboť právě tehdy bylo město z velké části
vypáleno císařskou armádou generála Bukvoje. Netradiční název, ve kterém se mísí dva
nesourodé přírodní živly - oheň a voda, je jen
jednou z mnohých zajímavostí Spáleného Poříčí, které se pyšní např. titulem „Historické
město roku 2003“.
I přes hořký osud v historii je v centru městečka dodnes zachována původní dispozice a na
náměstí jsou tak soustředěny všechny atributy historického města: kostel, renesanční zámek, secesní radnice, škola, barokní děkan-

ství, hotel či lékárna. To vše doplňuje několik
barokních soch tradičních světců. Zato areál
bývalého zemědělského družstva naproti
zámku se v posledních letech mění k nepoznání. Bývalé kanceláře a seník přestavělo

Ještě dnes, když se uvnitř sýpky zhluboka nadechnete, cítíte vůni zlatavých obilných klasů
s příměsí čerstvě usušeného sena.
Oproti tomu zámek z počátku 17. století,
opatřený později novogotickou věží, v sobě

skrývá koncertní sál s původním kazetovým
stropem či expozicí „Řemesla a život na vesnici na počátku minulého století“. Kolem
objektu je dále situován menší geopark a také klapající mlýnské kolo. Odtud se můžete
vydat po naučné stezce Hvížďalka vstříc do
náruče podbrdské krajiny, opředené řadou
legend a pověstí. Jedna z nich praví, že pod
hrází rybníka, po kterém nese jméno celá
tato stezka, je pod vysokým vodopádem
prohlubeň hluboká jako celá věž těnovického kostela. Budete-li mít štěstí, můžete tam
kromě ledňáčka objevit dnes už v Čechách
ojedinělého raka kamenáče. Jedním z dalších
zastavení je i místo, které dnes symbolizuje už
jen chodba vytesaná ve skále, vedoucí údajně
až pod tajemný „Šroubkův hrad“, kdysi opevněné sídlo tamního rytíře.

Unseren Spaziergang durch Spálené Poříčí
(deutsch Brennporitschen) beginnen wir gleich
bei der Bezeichnung der Stadt, die direkt die
Geschichte und das Schicksal dieser malerischen
Ortschaft am Rande des Gebirges Brdy symbolisiert. Der ursprüngliche Ortsname, der von der
Lage des Ortes am Fluss und nach dem Fluss
abgeleitet wurde, ergänzte im Jahre 1620 der
Beiname „spálené“ (Brenn-), denn damals wurde
der Ort aus einem großen Teil von dem kaiserlichen Heer des Generals Bucquoy niedergebrannt.
Die außergewöhnliche Bezeichnung, in der sich
zwei verschiedene Naturelemente mischen – Feuer und Wasser, ist nur eine von den vielen Merkwürdigkeiten der Stadt Spálené Poříčí, die sich z.
B. mit dem Titel „Historische Stadt 2003“ rühmt.
Auf dem Platz finden Sie alle Attribute einer
historischen Stadt: eine Kirche, ein Renaissanceschloss, ein Sezessionsrathaus, eine Schule, ein
Barockdekanat, ein Hotel oder eine Apotheke. Im
Jahre 2010 wurde der riesige Speicher renoviert
und in eine Galerie von Jiří Winter Neprakta und
in eine Ausstellung „Ein Spaziergang durch Brdy“
mit Handwerken und Lebensbildern aus der Vergangenheit einschließlich eines echten Meilers
umgewandelt. Noch heute, wenn Sie in dem
Speicher tief aufatmen, können Sie den Geruch
der goldenen Kornähren mit einem Hauch eines
frischgetrockneten Heus riechen.
Das Schloss aus dem Beginn des 17. Jahrhunderts, das später einen neugotischen Turm bekam, verbirgt in sich einen Konzertsaal mit einer
ursprünglichen Kassettendecke oder eine Sammlung „Das Handwerk und das Leben auf dem
Dorf zu Beginn des vergangenen Jahrhunderts“.
Um das Objekt befinden sich weiter ein kleinerer Geopark und auch ein klapperndes Mühlrad. Von hier aus können Sie auf dem Lehrpfad
„Hvížďalka“ der legendären und sagenhaften
Brdy-Landschaft entgegen wandern. Einer Sage
nach befindet sich unter dem Teichdamm, dessen
Namen der Lehrpfad trägt, unter einem großen
Wasserfall eine Aushöhlung, die tief wie der ganze Turm der Kirche in Těnovice ist. Falls Sie Glück
haben, können Sie dort außer dem Eisvogel auch
den in Tschechien schon in seiner Art einzigen
Steinkrebs entdecken. Der nächste Aufenthaltsort ist ein im Felsen gehauter Gang, der angeblich
bis unter die Burg „Šroubkův hrad“ führt, einer
ehemaligen Festung des dortigen Ritters.

Let’s start our walk through Spálené Poříčí by revealing the
symbolism of its name, which denotes history of this pictorial
town in the area of Brdy mountain range. The original name
- Poříčí (Riverside) - elicited from it’s mere location by the river,
was sadly enjoined in 1620 with the adjective Spálené (Burnt),
as it was right then when a big part of the town was severely
burnt down by the imperial army lead by general Bukvoj. Very
unusual name mixing two elements, water and fire, is only
one amongst many interesting things to be said of Spálené
Poříčí, which i.e. boasts the title of “The Historical Town of
the Year 2003”.
Despite its ill fate throughout the past, the town center still
features original composition and so all the attributes of
a historical town are to be seen here. Contrary to preserved
original town center, the grounds of the formal agricultural
cooperative have recently been changed beyond recognition.
The municipality had formal offices and a hay-barn rebuilt into
a hotel, formal stables became a lounge with a restaurant and
the brewery cellar was restored to its original shape. Huge
granary was remodeled and turned into Jiří Winter Neprakta’s
(famous Czech cartoonist) Gallery in 2010, the other part of
the building features the exhibition “A walkabout through the
Brdy mountains” introducing various crafts, historical lifestyle
and a real charcoal pile. Even today a deep breath-in brings
smell of golden corn spikes mixed with freshly dried hay.
The mansion from the beginning of the 17th century, later on
extended by a neo-gothic tower, reveals to its visitors a concert hall with an original pan ceiling or the collection “Crafts
and a rural life in the beginning of the last century”. The manor is surrounded by a smallish geo-park with a clacking water
wheel. You can set out from there, following the nature trail
“Hvížďalka”, towards the welcoming embrace of Brdy nature
teeming with legends and tales. If you are lucky, you can spot
not only a king-fisher bird, but also a rare rock lobster. Another
stop is by a nowadays mere stone drift allegedly leading to the
mysterious Castle of Šroubek, once upon a time fortified keep
of a local knight.
Spálené Poříčí has been a home for an Animal Rescue Station
for a number of years - you are welcome to make an appointment and observe how wild mammals or birds are taken care
of throughout the time from their admission up to the release

to wilderness. Statues or reliefs depicting animals can be seen on many different
places - for example go see Trykar’s house on the square (house number 47),
which shows falcon and roes. There are countless romantic places and nooks
with specific references to rich Czech history and natural wonders throughout the
town. Should you care to entwine both history and nature together, we highly
recommend you to finnish your walk by tasty lunch in the restaurant of the Hotel
Ve dvoře, the restaurant being in the formal baroque stable with twisted columns.

přejít k ukázkám pastvení ovcí za pomoci psů,
vyzkoušet si život na farmě, zapůjčit si kola
a poznat pošumavské kopce a svahy na vlastní kůži, či se projet na čtyřkolkách po soukromých cestách. V dosahu pěší procházky jsou
pak bohaté lesy, které jsou doslova a do písmene opravdovými houbařskými ráji s množstvím různorodých lesních plodů. A borůvky
z Pošumaví jsou prý ze všech nejsladší. Cestou

Tolerance a porozumění, která má symbolizovat spojení různých náboženství.
Po sportovním zážitku, procházce nebo meditaci je nejlepší se zchladit ve vyhřátém bazénu
přímo na farmě, popř. na koupališti ve 2 km
vzdáleném Skašově, kde je také muzeum
s krásnými soustruženými hračkami. Na farmě jsou podél výběhů sochy hospodářských
zvířat či přírodních motivů. Tušíte například,
že přímo na Olšovce je jeden z pramenů řeky
Úslavy, ve které se už odpradávna rýžovalo
zlato? Zahloubáte-li se u něho do historie
kraje, zjistíte, že farma ji má opravdu velmi
pohnutou. V dávných dobách zde totiž pobýval žinkovský kat. Jeden z nich, Matěj Kayser,
byl dokonce tím úplně posledním plzeňským,
po jeho smrti bylo povolání kata v Plzni zrušeno. Dnes už ani Olšovka není dávno tím
nehostinným opuštěným místem, ba naopak,
její poloha jí dodává punc výjimečnosti. Samotná farma, upravená do romantické podoby s věžičkou, arkýři a kamenným ostěním,
dává zažít pocit sídla chrabrého rytíře.
A rytířem, i když tak trochu netradičním, se
můžete stát i Vy. Stačí si vzít do ruky vypůjčený prut a posadit se na břehu soukromého
rybníka Olšovka. Věřte, že rybolov Vás naprosto uchvátí. Jak ostatně poznamenal ve
své povídce spisovatel Ota Pavel: „No, není
mi dobře s těmi lidmi, kteří chodí přes den
do práce a pak se dívají na televizi po celý život. Vyznávám blázny! Blázny do ryb, blázny

do hub, blázny do hokeje, vždyť s těmi ostatními bývá obvykle nuda a jenom to černý kafe.“ Ulovenou rybu si můžete vzít s sebou domů, ale co víc, můžete se stát opravdovým rytířem, darovat ji život, ponechat si jen jednu šupinu
pro štěstí a rybu vpustit zpět do chladivé vody, stát se šlechetným rytířem v gumových botách. Každý takový účastník dostane pak „Řád dobrotivého rybáře“, jehož platnost
bude stvrzena nalepením právě té oné šupiny pro štěstí.

tiefe Wälder erreichen, die wörtlich und buchstäblich echte Pilzparadiese mit vielen verschiedenen Waldfrüchten sind. Und Blaubeeren aus
dem Böhmerwald sind wohl die süßesten von
allen. Auf dem Rückweg aus dem Wald können
Sie in der Kapelle der Toleranz und des Verständnisses zum Meditieren anhalten. Die Kapelle symbolisiert das Verbinden verschiedener
Religionen. Schwimmbassin gibt es auch direkt
auf der Farm.
Die Farm hat eine bewegte Geschichte. In den
längst vergangenen Zeiten hielt sich hier der
Henker aus dem Schloss Žinkovy auf. Heute ist
auch Olšovka längst nicht mehr der ungastliche
und verlassene Ort, im Gegenteil, seine Lage
verleiht ihm ein Merkmal der Einzigartigkeit. Die
Farm selbst, hergerichtet in eine romantische
Gestalt mit einem Türmchen, Erkern und einer
Steinumrahmung, gibt das Gefühl, auf dem Sitz
eines tapferen Ritters zu leben.

Leben fernsehen, nicht wohl. Ich bekenne Narren. Narren auf Fische, Narren auf Pilze, Narren
auf Hockey, denn mit den Anderen erlebt man
meistens nur Langweile und schwarzen Kaffee.“ Die gefangenen Fische können Sie nach
Hause mitnehmen, aber was mehr, Sie können
zum echten Ritter werden, dem Fisch das Leben
schenken, nur eine Schuppe fürs Glück behalten
und den Fisch zurück in das kühle Wasser lassen. Ein großherziger Ritter in Gummischuhen.

Angelstechnik und eine ganze Reihe weiterer
Merkwürdigkeiten sein.

Imagine spending a week in a beautiful country of Sumava
during which you don’t have to look for experiences, but experiences come looking for you practically at your doorstep. You
don’t even have to dream about it for a long time, because at
Olšovka farm by Březí, where the Hucul horses are bred in a
free grassy runs all year long, this dream comes true twofold.
You will remember for the rest of your life one week spent
here, but you are most likely bound to give in to the temptation to come back as many others do.
In return, you will always experience a new program tailored
concretely for you or your family and friends. Also the farm organizes corporate meetings and activities, for example teambuilding, because Huculs and activities connected with them
such as beginner classes, horse riding or a manege in a riding
hall are only a part of all the activities offered. Not far from
the farm are forests abound with mushrooms and various forest fruits. It is said that the blueberries from Šumava are the
sweetest ones. On your way back you can stop for a meditation in the Chapel of Tolerance and understanding which
symbolizes harmony of different religions.
After some sport activities, a walkabout or after a meditation
you can chill out in a heated pool on the farm or in a pool in
Skašov 2 km far, where you can also visit a museum exhibiting beautiful turned wooden toys. You find that Olšovka has
a very moving history. In the times long gone, executioners
from Žinkovy used to live here. Nowadays Olšovka is not a
place in a barren land, on the contrary: it’s location marks it
as very special. The farm itself, romantically rebuilt, featuring
small tower, dormer windows with stone casing, allows you to
feel like a brave knight of old.
Speaking of knights, you can become one, albeit not in a traditional way. Pick up a (lent) fishing rod and sit down on the
bank of the private pond Olšovka. Rest assured, fishing will
capture you. Said with famous Czech writer Ota Pavel “Well,
I don’t feel well with people who spend their days at work
and then watch Tv their whole life. I praise the madmen: those
mad for fishing, mad for mushrooming, mad for hockey! With
other people it’s usually just boring and then a cup of black
coffee.” You can take your catch home with you, but you can
also do more than that - you can become a real knight in rub-

ber boots and bestow your mercy upon it, keep a scale for luck and throw the
fish back into the cold water. Each and every such knight will receive “The Order
of Gracious Fisherman“, validated by the lucky scale. It will grant you luck for the
whole year... and the next year you will surely come to Olšovka for another, which
will boost your luck further.

MUZEUM: Vlastivědná sbírka Žinkovska
INZERCE
První zmínka o „muzeu“ v Žinkovech pochází z roku
1914 a je uvedena v soukromé kronice rodiny Pomahačovy. Exponáty byly nejprve zajišťovány sbíráním
jakýchkoliv historických předmětů z domova i celého
světa se zvláštním důrazem na Žinkovsko. Od přírodnin, přes doklady praktického života v minulosti
či všelijaké rarity, až po opravdu vzácné historické
dokumenty či předměty. Sbírka je proto významným
zdrojem informací pro výuku humanitních a dílem
i přírodních disciplin na úrovni elementárního i vyššího školství. Malé venkovské muzeum je však také
dokladem píle a vytrvalosti jeho budovatelů, jež si po
celý svůj život kladli za cíl přiblížit nám ostatním bohatou historii celého kraje.
Rozsah sbírkových okruhů je velmi široký a zahrnuje
témata: Z historie, Písemnosti, Kroniky, Živnosti a řemesla, Pamětihodnosti městyse, Městská symbolika
a další. Časově je zachyceno období od mladší doby
kamenné přes středověk až po druhou světovou válku. Nejstarší nález, svědčící o přítomnosti pravěkého
člověka na Žinkovsku (4000 př. n. l.), pochází z obce
Vojovice, ze sadu čp. 6. Nález se skládá ze čtyř střípků
s lineárními rýhami.
Od roku 2000 je expozice umístěna v přízemí budovy
Úřadu městyse na žinkovském náměstí. Při návštěvě
jižního Plzeňska byste si prohlídku této sbírky rozhodně neměli nechat ujít. Možná vás překvapí ten jiný,
hřejivý pocit, který si nikdy neodnesete z návštěvy obrovských státních muzeí a expozicí.
HEIMATKUNDLICHE SAMMLUNG
VON ŽINKOVSKO (MUSEUM)
Erste Erwähnungen über ein „Museum“ in Žinkovy (deutsch
Schinkau, oder auch Zinkau) stammen aus dem Jahre 1914
und sind in der privaten Sammlung von Familie Pomahač erwähnt. Exponate wurden anfangs durch das sammeln von jeglichen historischen Gegenständen aus der Heimat aber auch
aus der ganzen Welt gesichert. Von Naturerzeugnissen, über
Nachweise des praktischen Lebens in Vergangenheit über
allerlei Raritäten, bis zu wirklich kostbaren historischen Dokumenten oder Gegenständen. Die Sammlung ist deswegen
eine wichtige Informationsquelle für die Lehre im Bereich der
Humanwissenschaft und teilweise auch Naturwissenschaft
auf Ebene des elementaren und auch höheren Schulwesens.
Das kleine Dorfmuseum ist aber auch ein Nachweis des Fleißes
und Ausdauer dessen Bewohner, die sich innerhalb ihres ganzen Lebens ein Ziel setzten, uns allen die reiche Geschichte
der ganzen Gegend näher zu bringen.
Der Umfang der Sammlungsbereiche ist sehr breit und beinhalten Themen: aus der Geschichte, Chroniken, Gewerbe und
Handwerke, Sehenswürdigkeiten des Fleckens, Stadtsymbolik
und vieles weiteres. Zeitgemäß ist die Zeit von der jüngeren
Steinzeit übers Mittelalter bis zum zweiten Weltkrieg erfasst.
Der älteste Fund, der die Anwesenheit von einem Urmenschen
in der Gegend von Žinkovy (4000 v. u. Z.) bezeugt, stammt
aus dem Ort Vojovice, aus dem Baumgarten Nr. 6. Der Fund
besteht aus vier Scherben mit linearen Rillen.
Seit dem Jahre 2000 ist die Exposition im Erdgeschoss des
Amtsgebäudes des Fleckens auf dem Stadtplatz von Žinkovy
platziert. Bei einem Besuch von der südlichen Pilsener Gegend
sollten sie sich eine Besichtigung dieser Sammlung bestimmt
nicht entgehen lassen. Vielleicht überrascht sie dieses andere,
wärmende Gefühl, das sie niemals bei einem Besuch von riesigen Staatsmuseen und Expositionen erleben und mitnehmen
werden.
THE HOMELAND COLLECTION
OF ŽINKOVY (MUSEUM)
The “museum” was first mentioned in a private chronicles of the Pomahač’s family in 1914. Exhibits got to the
collection at first by an indiscriminate choice - it’s founders tried to gather any historical items from homeland as
well as from abroad. The collection features products of
nature, various “jewels” of daily life and all kind of rarities/
oddities as well as really precious historical documents
and items. As such, the collection has become an important source of information for education of arts and partly
of nature sciences, both on the elementary and advanced
level. The small countryside museum is also a memorial
to the meticulous effort of its founders, whose life-long
goal was to bring closer to the rest of us rich history of
the whole county.
The extent of the collection themes is very wide and includes: History, Documents, Chronicles, Crafts and Trades,
Township memorables, Cities’ symbolism and other. Time-wise, the contents stretch from the Stone age through
the Mediaval times up to the World War II. The collection’s oldest finding, confirming presence of primeval man
in the Žinkov county (4000 B.C.), comes from village Vojovice. The find consist of 4 shards with linear lines.
As of year 2000, the exposition is located in the ground
floor of the Township office on Žinkovy square. If you are
visiting the area south from Pilsen, you definitely shouldn’t
miss out viewing this collection. You may be pleasantly
surprised by the different warm feeling, which you can’t
experience in huge national museums and expositions.
