2. kolo výběrových řízení na studijní pobyty Erasmus+_jaro 2015
Centrum zahraniční studií vyhlašuje na květen 2014 druhé kolo sběru přihlášek pro nominace na studijní
pobyty Erasmus+. Přihlášky se budou podávat na jarní semestr 2015.
Výběrová řízení budou probíhat přímo na katedrách/fakultách a budou plně v režii oborových koordinátorů,
kteří sami stanoví požadavky na uchazeče a konkrétní termíny výběrového řízení. Prosím, informujte se o
přímo na fakultách.

Mummert Scholarships 2015/16
Mummert Scholarships promote young and aspiring top executives from Central and South Eastern Europe in the fields of economics, business administration, engineering,
natural sciences or tourism management. Mummert Scholarships support a 2,5 year Master’s program in Germany, 4-5 months internship with a German company and an
excellent management education. Here are some details on the program:
Scholarship
- financial funds: 900 € per month
- research grant: 228 € per semester
- travel allowance: 250 €
- allowance for PC equipment: 700 €

Requirements for a Mummert Scholarship:
- Students from Bulgaria, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic or Hungary
- Bachelor degree (or final year of Bachelor studies) in economics, business administration, engineering, natural sciences or tourism management
- outstanding academic results (including mathematics)
- high level of proficiency in German and English
- management potential and leadership qualities
- distinctive personality / enthusiasm
- social responsibility
- willingness to return to your home country or in one of the supported countries after graduation for at least three years.
Application period: annually from September 1 through to November 1, for studies to commence in the winter semester of the following year

NĚMECKO - Nabídka stipendií německé katolické nadace KAAD
Rádi bychom Vás upozornili na uzávěrku přijímání žádostí o stipendia, která každoročně nabízí německá katolická výměnná služba KAAD, a
to vždy ke 30. červnu (a též k 15. lednu). Pro zájemce z České republiky je použitelný program pro země východní Evropy
(„Osteuropaprogramm“). Délka stipendia se může pohybovat (v závislosti na tom, o jaký typ stipendia jde od 2 do 36 měsíců.
Tyto stipendijní pobyty jsou určeny především pro katolíky (laiky, nikoli kněze), v omezené míře případně i pro příslušníky jiných

křesťanských církví. Lze jich využít pro jakýkoli obor (zpravidla s výjimkou teologie). Podmínkou přijetí je velmi dobrá znalost němčiny, případně připravenost se na tuto
jazykovou úroveň propracovat.
Výše stipendia se v závislosti na typu pobytu pohybuje v rozmezí od 750 do 2000 eur měsíčně. Kromě toho zahrnuje stipendium ve všech případech také úhradu cestovních
nákladů tam i zpět a uhrazení zdravotního pojištění v Německu.

MEXIKO - stipendia na základě mezinárodní smlouvy
Z důvodu velmi malého počtu uchazečů si Vás dovolujeme znovu informovat o prodloužení termínu uzávěrky pro
nabídku stipendijních míst v Mexiku.
Nabízeno je celkem 50 měsíců studijních nebo výzkumných pobytů (na rok 2015) pro studenty i absolventy MSP a DSP a
postdoktorských studijních programů. Stipendia jsou poskytována na základě mezinárodní (bilaterální) smlouvy.

ŘECKO - Stipendia Státní stipendijní komise (I.K.Y.)
Řecká Státní stipendijní komise (I.K.Y.) nabízí pro uchazeče ze zemí Evropské unie a několika dalších vyspělých zemí na akademický rok 2014/2015 celkem 10 stipendií pro
následující typy studijních pobytů v Řecku:
a) Doktorandské studium - (stipendium se uděluje na jeden rok s možností prodloužení až na celkem tři roky, k dispozici je – celkem pro všechny země - 5 stipendií)
b) Postdoktorandské studijní pobyty - (stipendium se uděluje na šest měsíců s možností prodloužení až na celkem 2 roky, k dispozici je 5 stipendií)
Uchazeči musí zejména splňovat následující požadavky:
- výborně ovládat angličtinu a mít alespoň základní znalost řečtiny
- u doktorandského studia je věkový limit 35 let, u postgraduálních studijních pobytů není žádný
věkový limit stanoven
- nezískali v minulosti stipendium od I.K.Y.
- nemají řecké občanství (ani v případě, že by šlo o dvojí občanství)
Nutnou podmínkou je předběžný kontakt s navrhovaným pracovištěm a znalost řečtiny.

Výše stipendia činí u postdoktorandů 800 eur měsíčně, u doktorandů 600 eur měsíčně, kromě toho se v některých případech vyplácejí některé další příplatky. Stipendium
nemusí plně krýt životní náklady v Řecku, nelze tedy vyloučit jistou finanční spoluúčast stipendistů).
Uzávěrka přijímání přihlášek pro akad. rok 2014/2015 je 16. června 2014.

European integration from the point of view of EU transatlantic relations"
The European Academy of Yuste Foundation announces its European Research and Mobility Grants for European Studies ‘Charles V European
Award-José Manuel Durão Barroso’ and its ‘VII Summer Doctoral Seminar in Contemporary European Multidisciplinary Studies’ with the
academic support of SEGEI (Socio-Economic Governance and European Identity) Research Network, and the University of Extremadura, to take
place at the Royal Monastery of Yuste (Extremadura, Spain) in the second semester of 2014. The grants are supported by the European Commission through the Europe for
Citizens European Programme.
To qualify for these grants candidates should be European or American students in the process of writing a Ph.D. dissertation on the topic of “History, memory and
European integration from the point of view of EU transatlantic relations”. Candidates should not have obtained a similar Charles V Award grant from the European
Academy of Yuste Foundation or from the SEGEI Network in previous editions.
Applications for a grant should be submitted by the 30th June 2014.

ŘECKO - Letní škola filosofie a aplikovaného výzkumu v Aténách
Řecká Nadace pro helénský svět (The Foundation for Hellenic World) zahájila ve spolupráci s Aténskou universitou a s Onassisovým kulturním
centrem projekt nazvaný „Platónská akademie – rozvoj vědění a inovačních myšlenek“ („Plato´s Academy – the development of
knowledge and innovative ideas“).
V rámci tohoto projektu se v termínu od 13. do 27. července 2014 v Aténách uskuteční letní škola pod názvem „The Summer School of
Philosophy and Applied Research“ („Letní škola filosofie a aplikovaného výzkumu“). Je určena pro postgraduanty a vědecké pracovníky
z celého světa, kteří se zajímají o vzájemný vztah mezi aplikovaným výzkumem a filosofickými principy, na nichž je tento výzkum založen. K dispozici je 20 stipendijních
míst.
Účastníkům budou plně uhrazeny veškeré nezbytné náklady v Řecku (náklady na výuku, učební materiály, stravování, ubytování, doprava v místě pobytu, 3 exkurze tvořící
součást programu). Naopak cestovní náklady do Řecka a zpět si účastníci hradí sami.
Program letní školy zahrnuje přednášky, semináře a 3 exkurze na místa zajímavá z historického a archeologického hlediska a bude probíhat v angličtině.
Probírat se budou např. tato témata: základní principy Platónovy filosofie, bioetika, teorie poznání, filosofie jazyka a komunikace, etika, logika, filosofie matematiky,
filosofie vědy, filosofie lidské mysli atd.

Summer School U.PORTO 2014
As part of its mission and its strategic objectives, the University of Porto has come to value the diversification of study programme opportunities aimed at different
audiences, in order to strengthen its connection to society, and contribute to the continuous updating of knowledge and personal development on the part of all

In this sense, since 2007 the U. Porto has offered several summer courses within the project Summer School at the U.Porto. In 2014, in June, July, August and September,

Podzimní kurz
Doctoral Course on The future of Cultural Heritage in smart cities, Ravello (Italy) 6 - 9 October 2014
The Course is addressed to young advanced students and professionals: scientists, architects, engineers, conservators, urban planners.
The organisation has the possibility to support the participation of 20 students with a reimbursement of € 300 (at the maximum) of their
participation expenses, after presentation of receipts. The selection for grant will be done by the organisers.
The 2014 Programme of the Ravello Course has the specific focus on “The future of Cultural Heritage in Smart Cities”. The Course will combine
understanding of the impact of Climate Change on Cultural Heritage with the development of cities that need to be “smart” in order to flourish in

the 21st century. The Course will therefore consider the pressures that climate and air quality exert on historic materials and structures and how innovative approaches to
making cities “smart”, can influence the Cultural Heritage in its urban setting.
Topics:
The concept of Smart Cities and whether it includes Cultural Heritage
Mitigation and adaptation strategies, including nanoscience application, to protect Cultural Heritage from Climate Change, starting with the impact of urban
pollution on Cultural Heritage
Information and innovation technologies and energy issues and Cultural Heritage, starting from the lessons we can learn from the past, asking the rhetorical
question of why historic cities are smart cities and how historic cities can adapt to new renewable energy technologies as the “smart” or clever way of adapting to
the future.
Energy requirements of historic buildings within the concept of Smart Cities
The macro-scale of cultural tourism and visitors’ expectations of Cultural Heritage in Smart Cities, and how our Built Heritage must adapt to face the double
challenge of catastrophic events in a Smart City context.

KAMBODŽA - 5. ročník setkání pod názvem „University Scholars Leadership Symposium“ v Phnompenhu
Nezisková nevládní organizace „Humanitarian Affairs“ se sídlem v Londýně pořádá každý rok v jiné zemi jihovýchodní Asie setkání mladých
lidí pod názvem „University Scholars Leadership Symposium“, a to vždy v termínu od 1. do 7. srpna.
Letošní 5. ročník této akce se bude konat v kambodžském hlavním městě Phnompenhu.
Setkání se mohou účastnit studentští vůdci a případně i jiní mladí lidé (např. působící v neziskových organizacích) ve věku od 17 do 30 let.
Cílem je výměna zkušeností v oblasti sociálního rozvoje a potírání chudoby. Tohoto sympozia se má zúčastnit celkem 1000 lidí, z České
republiky by tam mohlo přijet 15 účastníků.
V současné době (od 1. května 2014) je již možná pouze tzv. pozdní registrace, možnost registrace končí 20. července 2014. Účastnický poplatek se pohybuje v rozmezí 25
až 27 tisíc bahtů (přes 15 000 Kč) a pokrývá i ubytování, stravování a dopravu uvnitř Kambodže. Cestu do Kambodže a zpět si účastníci musí zaplatit sami.
