lost or stolen laptop or Ultrabook™ device
and protect your personal data

Intel Anti-Theft Service takes advantage of intelligence in device
hardware to lock down a lost or stolen device.
•All Ultrabook™ devices. All Ultrabook devices (based on the
2nd generation Intel® Core™ processor family and 3rd generation
Intel® Core™ processor family) include Intel® Anti-Theft
Technology (Intel® AT) built in to the hardware and support Intel
Anti-Theft® Service.
Lock Down. A lost or stolen device can be locked-down, such that
it does not boot, by sending a notification over the Internet or by
using intelligent hardware timers on the laptop. Once recovered
by the owner, the device can be returned to full functionality
with a personal password.
Protect Personal Data. Protects stored personal data with
Secure Data Vault (SDV). SDV creates a secure area on the
enrolled device where all data is seamlessly encrypted and can
be accessed from the device in only a normal unlocked state. An
unauthorized user cannot remove the hard drive and access the
user’s personal data from another computer
Custom Recovery Message. Laptop owners can display a custom
message on locked laptops facilitating return by Good Samaritans.
Theft Deterrent. Users can also receive bright yellow stickers
to be used on their devices, which may deter thieves with the
warning that the device is protected.
Customer Support. Phone and web support 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.

have enabled their 2nd and 3rd gen Intel Core processor-based
laptops with Intel Anti-Theft Service.
•Not supported. Intel® Pentium® processors and Intel® Celeron®
processors.

Available Business Models
•Bundle. You can include Intel Anti-Theft Service with the
purchase of an Ultrabook device. Hard bundling must be done
at the store or warehouse.
•Standalone package. Intel Anti-Theft Service can be sold as a
standalone package on the shelf, similar to software titles
such as Microsoft Office* or McAfee® Internet Security*.
