Gaststätte. Wir stellen Ihnen zur Verfügung attraktive Räume für Veranstaltungen und Feiern in
der Nähe der Brünn-Messegelände. Vor der Gasstätte gibt es genug Parkplätze.

GESCHICHTE DER BRÜNNER STRASSE HLINKY

von neuen überwiegend Reihenhäusern im Still Neorenaissance ersetzt. Die Entwicklung von der Bebauung wurde von
der Straßenbahnlinie mit Depot am Ende der Pisárecká Straße
unterstützt. Im 1870 wurde die Straßenbahn von Pferden gezogen. Im 1884 wurde von Dampf Straßenbahn ersetzt. Seit 1900
gibt es in Brünn eine elektrische Straßenbahn. Im 1917 trug
die Pisárecká Straße kurz den Namen vom Kaiser der Österreichisch-Ungarischen Monarchie Karl I. – Kaiser-Karl I. Straße.
Schon im Oktober 1918 wurde in V hlinkách Straße umbenannt. Der Name wurde im 1946 auf Hlinky geändert. Dieser
Namen ist dem ältesten Namen vom 1750 der ähnlichste.
ie Straße Hlinky (Schreibwaldstrasse) entstand beim
Weg von altem Brünn nach Pisárky, Kammený Mlýn und
Žabovřesky. Die ersten Häuser wurden um der Ziegelei herum,
später an beiden Seiten vom Weg gebaut. Da es ein Lehm Weg
war, wurde er seit 1750 Hlinky, Lehmstraße, genannt. In 30.
Jahren des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde der Weg vergrößert. So
wurde die Straße mit wachsender Bebauung bis zur heutiger
Lipová Straße gebildet. Lipová Straße wurde damals, gleich wie
die Straße Květná, nur ein Feldweg, der in die bis Anfang des
20. Jahrhunderts existierende Weinberge auf südwestlichen
Hängen von Žlutý kopec (Gelber Hügel) ging. Im 1867 wurde
die lange Straße Hlinky unter Žlutý kopec (Gelber Hügel) in
Pisárecká Straße (Schreibwaldstraße) umbenannt. Es war
die Verbindungsstraße zwischen Brünn und Pisárky, einem
damaligen beliebten Ausflugsort. Die Bebauung von Pisárky
dehnte aus. Neue Häuser wurden gebaut. Ältere Häuser wurde

by growing houses in the early 19th century. Original Hlinky
Street ended where present Lipová Street is. Lipová Street like
Květná Street was only a field path going into the vineyards on
the southern west side of the Yellow hill (Žlutý kopec). These
vineyards existed till the early 20th century. In 1867, Hlinky
Street was renamed to Pisárecká Street (Schreibwaldstrasse).
It was the main connecting roadway between Brno and

rünn, in Hantec (eine Brünner Mundart) als Bryncl
oder Brnisko genannt, ist die
traditionelle Hauptstadt Mährens, wo man dank ihrer reichen
Geschichte zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten findet. Brünn
wird auch als die Wiege der
funktionalistischen Architektur
bezeichnet.

Železná růže
I
m 1243 wurde Brünn durch von Böhmischem König Václav I.
erteilte Stadtrechte zur Stadt erhoben. Brünn erhielt auch das
Recht einmal pro Jahr Allerheilligen Jahresmesse zu veranstalten. Brünn veranstaltete im Jahr sechs Jahresmessen, an denen ausländische Käufer
teilnahmen. Im 19. Jahrhundert stieg der Umsatz von Messe Brünn zu 16 Millionen
Goldstück (Hälfte des Umsatzes von damaliger Messe Leipzig). Am Ende des 19.
Jahrhunderts fand im Brünn große Kaiserliche Ausstellung. Im 1899 wurde Gründung von Brünner Messegelände vorgeschlagen. Im 1921 wurde die Gesellschaft
Messe Brünn gegründet. Schon das nächste Jahr fand im August die erste Messe.
Der Autor des Hauptpavillons (heutiger Pavillon A) ist der Architekt Ing. Dr. Jaroslav
Valenta. Das Projekt der Konstruktion vom Eisenbeton entwarf der Architekt Emil
Králík. Während des Zweiten Weltkrieges wurden die Brünner Messegelände von
Wehrmacht und deutscher Polizei genutzt. Im 1955 fand die erste Ausstellung des
Tschechoslowakischen Maschinenbaus. Im 1959 wurde der Bau des größten Pavillon
Z beendet. Dieser Pavillon hat 20 000 m2, die Höhe der Kuppel ist über 30 m und
die Spannweite über 90 m. Der Pavillon Z wurde von Ing. Zdeněk Denk, Ing. arch.
Zdeněk Pospíšil und Ing. arch. Milan Steinhauser geschaffen. Der VUT Universitätsprofessor Ing. Dr. Ferdinand Lederer ist der Autor der Kuppel. Im 1959 fand die
erste internationale Messe des Maschinenbaus. Im 1960 wurde das Unternehmen
des Auslandshandels BVV Brünner Messe gegründet, das die Brünner Messegelände
verwaltet. Seit 1960 ist BVV Brünner Messe ein Mitglied von Verband internationaler
Messen (Union des Foires Internationales) mit dem Sitz in Paris.

to organize yearly All Souls´ Day fair.
In Brno, there were 6 yearly fairs attended by foreign merchants. In 19th
century, the turnover of the Brno yearly
fairs raised to 16 million Golds (former
currency) that was the half of the former
Leipzig fair turnover. In the late 19th
century, there was a big Emperor´s Exhibition. In 1889, the first proposal of founding Brno Exhibition Centre was submitted. In 1921, the company Trade Fairs Brno was established. One year later, the first
Brno Trade Fairs took place. The main pavilion (pavilion A today) was designed by the
architect Ing. Dr. Jaroslav Valenta. The architect Emil Králík is the author of the ironconcrete construction. During the Second World War, Brno Exhibition Centre served
to the German Police and Wehrmacht. In 1955, there was the first Czechoslovak Engineering Fair. In 1959, the biggest pavilion Z was finished. This pavilion is 20 000 m2
large, 30 high and 90 m wide. The pavilion Z was designed by Ing. arch. Zdeněk Denk,
Ing. arch. Zdeněk Pospíšil and Ing. arch. Milan Steinhauser, the cupola by a professor
Ing. Dr. Ferdinand Lederer. In September 1959, the first International Engineering
Fair was organized. In 1960, the company BVV Brno Trade Fairs was established that
has been administering the Brno Exhibition Centre. Since 1960, BVV Brno Trade
Fairs is a member of The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (Union des
Foires Internationales) based in Paris.

Železná růže
Špilberk
D
ie Burg Špilberk (in Hantec als Špilas genannt) ist
eine alte Burg, die auf einem gleich genannten Felshügel eine markante Dominante der Stadt bildet. Die
Burg wurde in der zweiten Hälfte des 13. Jahrhunderts
vom böhmischen König Přemysl Otakar II. gegründet. In
17. Jahrhundert wurde die gotische Burg in eine mächtige
Festung umgebaut. Zur Burg gehören auch Kasematten früher ein gefürchtetes Gefängnis.

ituated on the hilltop the old castle Špilberk (in
“hantec” called Špilas) is a landmark of Brno.
The castle was built by Přemysl Otakar II. the king
of Bohemia in the second half of the 13th century.
The gothic castle was turned into a massive baroque fortress in the second half of the 17th century. Casemates,
a part of the fortress, counted at that time like the generally
most feared prison.
Petrov
St. Peter und Paul Kathedrale
ie Anfänge der heutigen Kathedrale reichen in das 11.-12. JahrhunD
dert zurück. Die Kathedrale zählt zu den bedeutendsten architektonischen Sehenswürdigkeiten Südmährens. Ihre Türme ragen 84 Meter in
die Höhe. Das Interieur ist überwiegend im Barockstil gebaut. Das Exterieur, zusammen mit zwei Türmen gebaut im 1904-1905, ist im neugotischen Stil.
Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul
The cathedral´s history goes back to 11th-12th century. It is one of
the South Moravian´s most significant architecture historical sights.
The towers of the cathedral are 84 meters high. Its interior was built in
baroque movement. Two towers built in 1904-1905 and the exterior are
in Gothic.
