This Pálava is a semi-sweet wine with a residual sugar level of 35g/litre, which helped it take 3rd place at
the 2006 Grand Prix International Competition.
The Riesling is a semi-dry wine with a residual sugar level of 17/l, which won a gold medal at the international exposition Víno Revue Prague Trophy 2007 and was named champion of the Slovácko Subregion Wine
Competition.

This wine was awarded the Golden Trophy for the best domestic red wine at the Víno & Destiláty International Exposition, and a gold medal at the Slovácko Subregion Wine Competition.

This Sauvignon is fruity in the nose, with a hint of black currents and elderberry blossoms.
Pálava is an original variety of grape that has been specially cultivated for the conditions of the Pálava Hills
and its active calcium-lime character.
Chardonnay is a variety of grape that has recently increased both in popularity and cultivation. It is a wine
with a pleasant bouquet and acidity and harmonious taste.

5. RULANDSKÉ ŠEDÉ (PINOT GRIS) 1999
A lively wine, golden in color with yellow-green reflections. The bouquet holds soft tones of meadow flowers
and elderberry blossoms, followed up by the scent of sweet alder. A very well-rounded wine, with the flavor
of hazelnuts underscored by light and sweet flowering peach orchards, a slight mineralness, characteristic
bread taste, and the naïve sauciness typical of a young teenage girl.

A lively and brilliant wine, yellow-green in color with golden edges. Its bouquet is a perfect union of the
scents of linden trees in blossom and acacia honey with a fruity aroma. This is a full bodied wine on the
palate, with a hint of citrus and fruit supported by cloves and mineral tones.

- Rulandské šedé (Pinot Gris) – selected grapes 2006
The bouquet of this Pinot Gris calls forth an arsenal of citrus fruits and pineapple, with light honey and
representative bread tones in the background.
Chardonnay is without doubt one of the more fashionable wines to drink these days, as well as being one of
the best quality wines in the region. The grapes are harvested early, when they are still slightly under-ripe,
and have the scent of green apples.
8. DORNFELDER
– quality wine, 2006, barrique
The Dornfelder is a variety of grape of German origin, whose proportionally high yield gives this wine its
robust body and color and pleasant tannin. The color sparkles with deep red-violet shades and has an intensive bouquet that brings to mind the scent of elderberries, which combine in harmony with its vibrant body,
and is softy spiced with vanilla through to the finish.

This intensively aromatic Sauvignon has a bouquet of peaches and black currents and a honey taste on the palate.
This exceptional full-bodied Chardonnay has a rich palate of peaches and mangos rounded off by a pleasantly lingering hazelnut finish.
The Tramin is a full-bodied wine with a heightened bouquet.

grapes at harvest. They have a full bodied, bold and sleek palate, but at the same time are fresh and well-balanced due to a lush and crisp acidity that expresses itself in distinctive fruit tones.

The special character of this Riesling wine is due to its grapes affected by noble rot, that give it a special
bouquet full of black currents and gooseberries and the taste of raisins.
The bouquet of the Rhine Riesling is reminiscent of the scent of linden trees in blossom with honey tones.
The Pinot Blanc is a well-rounded wine with a bouquet of mangos, unripe bananas and hazel nuts.

Děvín is a quality produced wine, aromatic, with a nutmeg spiciness, yellow-green color and soft and
piquant acidity.
This Cabernet Moravia is dark garnet in color with the special characteristic cabernet bouquet.

This Pinot Gris, pale yellow in color with grey reflections, is an exceptionally well-rounded and full-bodied
wine, with a characteristic taste and the aroma of bread. It has an unusually crisp acidity and pleasant
fruity aftertaste.

This Sylvaner has a very pleasant and attractive pale green color. Its strong bouquet is full of fragrant fruit
scents, such as ripe bananas, kiwis and freshly peeled orange skins. It has a compact palate, is lightly spiced, with a mid-long lingering fruit tone finish.
15. NERONET 2007
This wine has a bouquet of blueberries, chocolate and liquorice, with a touch of pepper in the palate.

16. COLLECTION OF 2 SWEET VINTAGE 2003 WINES
- Červený Tramín (Red Tramin) - selected berries 2003
- Ryzlink vlašský (Welschreisling)- ice wine 2003
This Tramin was produced in a limited edition of 410 numbered bottles. The grapes were gathered in a select
harvest on Dec. 2, 2003, with a residual sugar level of 70g/l. This wine has been awarded 4 Crowns in the
Encyclopedia of Czech and Moravian wines.
This Riesling is an exceptional ice wine that was the result of undergoing a frost. The grapes were harvested
on Dec. 8, 2003 at a temperature of –11 °C, and the residual sugar level is 178 g/l. A limited number of 520
bottles were produced. This wine was chosen as the Champion of the 2007 International Trnavia Exhibition
in Slovakia.

This Rulander has a pleasant floral bouquet reminiscent of a flowering meadow.

This family winery was established in 1992 based upon over 100 years of winemaking tradition. Today, they
grow the varieties Chardonnay, Rhine Riesling, Ottonel Muscadel, Frankovka, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet
Sauvignon, as well as less traditional grapes such as Rubinet, Agni, Ariana, Nitra and Gönszei Zamatos.

KACHETINSKÉ VÍNO 2007
Kachetinske wine is made from special, age-old Georgian method – a tradition that has been maintained in
Hlohovec up to this day - where select harvest whole red and white grape berries are left to ferment together
for a period of up to 6 months.

This wonderful Chardonnay has a luxurious yellow color with golden reflections. Its bouquet is rich in the
aromas of ripe quince and bananas, with tones of honeycombs and over-ripe raisins. The taste reaches out
with an abundant residue of natural grape sugar and soft, yet distinctive acidity.
This Riesling wine is a rich yellow color and has an intensive honey scent with white fruit and nutmeg tones.
A flavor of sweet pear compote is supported by a nice acidity with a soft, smooth and pleasant finish.
24. VELTLÍNSKÉ ZELENÉ (GRÜNER VELTLINER) 1995
– wine for Queen Elizabeth II
A wine with a harmony of taste and compact acidity reaching out up to citrus fruits. This wine was selected
to be served on the occasion of the official visit of the Queen Elizabeth II to the Czech Republic in 1996.
There are only a few bottles of this wine left in existence.

This Grüner Sylvaner has an unbiased taste with a higher level of acidity. Highly ripe grapes from a late
harvest give it a full, smooth and supple harmony. The Grüner Sylvaner wines are excellent for social occasions as they never tire the palate.
A Rhine Riesling with a golden yellow color, intensive young exhilarating scent, and unexpected fruitiness
with traces of dried apricots and pineapple compote undertones of a soft vanilla aroma. Its taste is direct
and clean, linden blossoms with tones of fresh fruit.
This Blauer Portugieser has an intensive cherry bouquet, which enters the taste and in harmony unites into a
full bodied wine.

26. PINOT NOIR 2006
Pinot Noir wines are pale ruby up to red brick in color with golden edges. The flavor and bouquet in particular excel after several years of aging in the bottle, bringing to mind the scent of dried plums, strawberries,
cranberries, and even the aroma of farm livestock. This wine is both soft in acids and tannins. Pinot Noir is
considered the king of wines and is well represented in the Stapleton & Springer winery.
27. ROUČÍ (ROUČÍ /BURGUNDY) 2007
Rouci is the old historical Czech name for Pinot Noir. Emperor Charles IV first brought this variety of grape
to the Bohemian kingdom. The small tightly clustered grapes of Pinot Noir reminded people of a sheep fleece
– hence the name in Czech ROUno BeránČÍ. The wine is generally brick-red in color with deep garnet flashes and a characteristic bouquet of wild field strawberries and over-ripe black cherries. One can read dried
plums in the palate, with delicate acidity and a finish softly sleek in tannin from aging in barrique barrels.
28. SAINT LAURENT 2006 – CRAIG´S RESERVE
This wine was aged in barrique oak barrels especially imported from France. Its palate includes the flavor
of ripe plums, chocolate and nuts, combined in harmony with soft tannin that destines to make this the perfect wine for celebrations.

They often call the Rhine Riesling the king of wines. It has a beautifully blended bouquet with the aroma
of raisins, honey and fruit tarts. The wine has a high viscosity, is vibrantly extractive and is finished with
a lovely residual sugar level at the close. This wine was awarded gold medals the 2006 Vinoforum, 2006
Muvina and the Rhine Riesling Gallery.
The next wine is a venerable, properly spicy wine from of the Tramin variety. A concentrated wine that delights from the first impression, pleasantly tramin-esque, with a beautifully spiced and harmonic flavor. This
wine has a beautiful finish with a pleasant residual sugar direct from the grape. It was awarded a silver
medal in the 2006 Vinofest and received a recognition from the 2006 Valtice Wine Market.
The Pálava is a delightfully spicy wine with pleasant Tramin undertones. The taste is honey smooth with
a pleasant acidity. It was the winner of the V Juv at the 2008 Vinalies Internationales Paris, and received
silver medals from the Winemakers of the Year and the Valtice Wine Market competitions.

30. TRAMÍN ČERVENÝ (RED TRAMIN)
Tramin wine has a long-lasting palate and is not your run of the mill beverage. It is often possible to recognize it by its intensive color relative to other wines. This elegant wine deserves to be savored and demands
the corresponding time needed to enjoy and experience it to its fullest.

A full robust wine produced from mature grapes, with a fresh greenish color and flashes of yellow. The nose
of the wine is a combination of meadow honey, ripe citrus fruits and caramel. This is a very full-bodied,
extractive wine with well balanced acidity and a naturally sweet finish.
32. RULANDSKÉ MODRÉ (PINOT NOIR)
A full-bodied wine, with a lower content of acid, very softly tannic, that softly glides over the tongue. The
bouquet and palate contain the aroma and flavors of blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, black cherries
and cranberries, as well as wood smoke, rotting leaves, dried plums, prune compote, bitter almonds and
bitter chocolate in the more mature wines.

33. NEUBURSKÉ (NEUBERGER) 1983
A white wine with a greenish tinge, mature bouquet, well-rounded, majestic and overall delicate and fruity taste.
34. RYZLINK VLAŠSKÝ (WELSCHREISLING) 1983
This excellent 1983 vintage is golden-yellow in color and has a slightly spicy aroma and honey rounded
taste. A harmonious wine that was aged in the ideal conditions of the dark and cool corridors of the historic
Templar Cellars.

35. MORAVSKÝ MUŠKÁT (MORAVIAN MUSCAT)
A pale green wine with a pleasant muscat aroma and full-bodied, spicy palate. Winner of the 2008 Juvenale
competition.
36. MODRÝ PORTUGAL ROSO (BLAUER PORTUGIESE ROSO)
This wine has a nice ruby color. Its bouquet is characterized by the aroma of dried mountain fruits and orchard cherries – the proper bouquet of a real Modrý Portugal! It has a harmonic palate, and is comfortably
full-bodied and consistent. There is a slight bitterness on the palate that agrees with the wine.
37. VELTLÍNSKÉ ZELENÉ (GRÜNER VELTLINER)
This wine has a yellowish color with green undertones. It is fresh and slightly spicy with a touch of vanilla.
This is a wine easy on the palate with an almond honey taste that urges one to partake in one sip after the
other. It was awarded a gold medal at the 2007 Vinum Juvenale competition and selected the champion of
the Mikulov Wine Exposition.
BISENC WINERY, BZENEC
38. RULANDSKÉ BÍLÉ (PINOT BLANC)
This wine has a natural pale yellow, playful color with a lively sparkle. It has an incredibly fresh fruit
aroma with a touch of citrus fruits, limes and oranges and a gently creamy and velvety finish. The wine has
a heartwarming palate, with a mineral to salty crisp acidity and a pleasant long invigorating taste of citrus
fruits.
39. RYZLINK RÝNSKÝ (RHINE RIESLING)
This wine has a beautiful green-yellow color. There is a distinctive flower aroma on the palate with a suggestion of linden blossoms; the taste is round and full, and also sweetish due to the relatively large amount
of residual sugar, but with a pleasant acidity at the finish.
A full-bodied, high extract wine distinguished by its beautiful floral scent supported by fruit tones. The natural residual sugar on the palate enhances a complex bouquet and the strong body of this wine.
BUCHTOVI WINERY, VELKÉ PAVLOVICE
- Frankovka (Lemberger) rose – late harvest 2006
- Dornfelder – late harvest 2006
- Veltlínské zelené (Grüner Veltliner) – late harvest 2003
This Frankovka has a beautiful rose color similar to thinly sliced salmon, and a distinctive fresh fruity bouquet.
The Dornfelder has a deep and rich dark red color with flashes of violet. It has a complex and concentrated
bouquet with fruit and floral tones.
The Grüner Veltliner is golden-yellow in color with a fruity, honey-sweet bouquet. It has a full, slightly spicy
palate with a pleasant honey taste. This is a full-bodied, high-extract wine.
JAN SEČKÁŘ, MORAVSKÁ NOVÁ VES
42. CABERNET MORAVIA 2004
This variety was cultivated in Moravia’s central winemaking district. The Cabernet Moravia is characterized by its full-body, high-extract, and the rich spectrum of aromas that range from the flavor of nettles, black
forest berries, up to tones of currents. This wine, with its dark garnet color, avows its rich cabernet aroma.
Aging will intensify the fullness and harmony of this wine.
43. PINOT NOIR
– selected grapes 2005, Barrique
A high-extract and full-bodied wine, but with a velvety taste that is perfect for special occasions. Its character is enhanced by aging in special oak wine barrels before being bottled.
44. MERLOT
– late harvest 2005, Barrique
Merlot is a variety of grape that originated in France. This is a full flavor, excellent quality wine with a dark
color; soft, round and rich in tannin.
U SAMSONŮ FAMILY WINERY, VELKÉ NĚMČICE
- Frankovka (Lemberger) 1979
- André 1989
This Frankovka is an archived wine that comes from the southern slopes of a vineyard that was first planted
in 1936 in the wine region of Němčice. This variety is carefully cultivated completely by hand. The sugar
content at harvest was 21°NM (measure of the concentration of sugar), reaching up a level of 25°NM after
fermentation.
The Andre is also an archive wine that comes from vines that were planted in 1980 in the Velké Němčice locality of the Velkopavlovická wine region. It was made using the most painstaking methods and completely by
hand. This wine was named Exhibiting Champion and awarded a gold medal at recent wine competitions.
These wines were laid down to age in an archive cellar with a temperature of 9 – 11°C. Any sediment at the
bottom of the bottle is not a defect, but is evidence of the meticulous methods in which the wine was produced. These wines are from the private archive of the maker and are not normally for sale. They are highly
valued by collectors because they come from vines that no longer exist. The labels are hand-painted and
personally signed by the owner. There are only 40 archived bottles in existence at this time.

46. CHARDONNAY
This wine has a full, long lasting taste with a softly spicy afterglow and elegant acidity. The scent and flavor of
green apples, pears, acacia, citrus fruits, peaches, mangos and bananas can be found in its bouquet and taste.
This wine has a bouquet that simply explodes with flavor! It is a honey-ripe Riesling with a bold spiciness
that embraces a rich flush of delicate floral, hyper-ripe grape and herbaceous scents. This wine is full on the
palate, with a sweet start that then beautifully anticipates a spicy to citrus acidity.

This is a full-bodied wine with the aromatic scent of honey, vanilla, rose petals, mangos and bananas and a
spicy palate.

The donor of this collection presents a selection of wines produced from newly cultivated grape varieties
from the region of the Lužní Forest and Morava River.

The Aurelius is a wine with a yellow-green shade of color, a bouquet reminiscent of a Rhine Riesling, and
a concentrated aroma of quince and linden tree blossoms. It has a vibrantly harmonic and slightly spicy
palate.
Well-ripened grapes bestow this Sauvignon with the aroma of black currents, citrus fruits and peaches. A
wine that is beautifully long on the palate.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine dark ruby in color with a distinctive bouquet of black currents, cherries,
blackberries, tobacco and marmalade.
KOVACS WINERY, NOVOSEDLY
– late harvest 2006, Grand Reserve
A wine with a pale-burnished golden color and fresh bouquet animated by the scent of linden tree blossoms,
sweet melons, dried apricots and butter pears. After giving it chance to breath, this wine will suffuse soft
crème and petroleum tones. It has a balanced palate that is unified in harmony with the bouquet and beautifully rounds off the impression of this wine. This Riesling embodies a crisp and lush acidity, pleasant summer fruitiness and is finished off with a refreshingly lingering aftertaste.
52. CHARDONNAY

A compact wine with a deep golden to straw yellow color that evokes the scene of sun-drenched grapes on
the vine. It has a full, complex and concentrated bouquet with a distinctive aroma of exotic fruits, including
pineapple, sweet melon, mango and banana accompanied by tones of dried fruit and raisins and finished off
with a characteristic walnut scent. The taste is also full, bold and harmonic with honey and nectar tones,
completed with a lush acidity that enhances the sensation of exotic fruit on the palate with a beautifully
lingering finish. The wine was selected as the best in its category and awarded a gold medal at the 2007
Valtice Wine Market competition and is registered in the 2007/2008 Czech Republic Wine Salon.
53. RULAND ŠEDÝ (PINOT GRIS/GREY RULANDER)

This wine has a radiantly golden, hearty and noble color, which is evidence of the high ripeness of the grapes at harvest. It has a full, stately, almost caramel-sweet scent, with tones of exotic fruit that include pink
grapefruit, yellow melon, mango, lychee and pineapple, rounded off with nectar and candied fruit aromas. It
is full, bold and sleek on the palate, but due to a lush and crisp acidity also fresh and harmonic, as demonstrated by its distinctive fruit tones rounded off with a pleasant mineral finish.

54. MERLOT
Merlot is a variety that is used in many foreign wines. Ripe merlot grapes with their soft tannin produce
an elegant wine with a well-balanced, smooth palate and classic ruby color. This wine was awarded a gold
medal at the World Wine Exposition in Brussels in 2007.
55. ZWEIGELTREBE (ZWEIGELT) 2003
This wine has a wonderful dark red color and a bold, fresh, fruit bouquet reminiscent of freshly picked forest
strawberries and raspberries. It has a very pleasantly sweet and consistent palate in harmony with its residual sugar and a tangy acidity that evokes the taste of raspberry lemonade. This wine was named Champi-
on of the 2004 Czechoslovakia Wine Makers League.
56. CHARDONNAY

A delicious, first-rate, semi-sweet white wine, which is made from Chardonnay grapes. It has a pale to dark
golden color, distinctive varietal bouquet and full, harmonic sweet taste. This wine was awarded a gold medal at the 2004 Brussels World Wine Exposition.
