This Tramin was produced in a limited edition of 410 numbered bottles. The grapes were gathered in a select
harvest on Dec. 2, 2003, with a residual sugar level of 70g/l. This wine has been awarded 4 Crowns in the
Encyclopedia of Czech and Moravian wines.
This Riesling is an exceptional ice wine that was the result of undergoing a frost. The grapes were harvested
on Dec. 8, 2003 at a temperature of –11 °C, and the residual sugar level is 178 g/l. A limited number of 520
bottles were produced. This wine was chosen as the Champion of the 2007 International Trnavia Exhibition
in Slovakia.

This Blauer Portugieser has an intensive cherry bouquet, which enters the taste and in harmony unites into a

26. PINOT NOIR 2006
Pinot Noir wines are pale ruby up to red brick in color with golden edges. The flavor and bouquet in particular excel after several years of aging in the bottle, bringing to mind the scent of dried plums, strawberries,
cranberries, and even the aroma of farm livestock. This wine is both soft in acids and tannins. Pinot Noir is
considered the king of wines and is well represented in the Stapleton & Springer winery.

27. ROUČÍ (ROUČÍ /BURGUNDY) 2007
Rouci is the old historical Czech name for Pinot Noir. Emperor Charles IV first brought this variety of grape
to the Bohemian kingdom. The small tightly clustered grapes of Pinot Noir reminded people of a sheep fleece
– hence the name in Czech ROUno BeránČÍ. The wine is generally brick-red in color with deep garnet flashes and a characteristic bouquet of wild field strawberries and over-ripe black cherries. One can read dried
plums in the palate, with delicate acidity and a finish softly sleek in tannin from aging in barrique barrels.

They often call the Rhine Riesling the king of wines. It has a beautifully blended bouquet with the aroma
of raisins, honey and fruit tarts. The wine has a high viscosity, is vibrantly extractive and is finished with
a lovely residual sugar level at the close. This wine was awarded gold medals the 2006 Vinoforum, 2006
Muvina and the Rhine Riesling Gallery.
The next wine is a venerable, properly spicy wine from of the Tramin variety. A concentrated wine that delights from the first impression, pleasantly tramin-esque, with a beautifully spiced and harmonic flavor. This
wine has a beautiful finish with a pleasant residual sugar direct from the grape. It was awarded a silver
medal in the 2006 Vinofest and received a recognition from the 2006 Valtice Wine Market.
The Pálava is a delightfully spicy wine with pleasant Tramin undertones. The taste is honey smooth with
a pleasant acidity. It was the winner of the V Juv at the 2008 Vinalies Internationales Paris, and received
silver medals from the Winemakers of the Year and the Valtice Wine Market competitions.

The Grüner Veltliner is golden-yellow in color with a fruity, honey-sweet bouquet. It has a full, slightly spicy
palate with a pleasant honey taste. This is a full-bodied, high-extract wine.

- Frankovka (Lemberger) 1979

This Frankovka is an archived wine that comes from the southern slopes of a vineyard that was first planted
in 1936 in the wine region of Němčice. This variety is carefully cultivated completely by hand. The sugar
content at harvest was 21°NM (measure of the concentration of sugar), reaching up a level of 25°NM after
fermentation.
The Andre is also an archive wine that comes from vines that were planted in 1980 in the Velké Němčice locality of the Velkopavlovická wine region. It was made using the most painstaking methods and completely by
hand. This wine was named Exhibiting Champion and awarded a gold medal at recent wine competitions.
These wines were laid down to age in an archive cellar with a temperature of 9 – 11°C. Any sediment at the
bottom of the bottle is not a defect, but is evidence of the meticulous methods in which the wine was produced. These wines are from the private archive of the maker and are not normally for sale. They are highly
valued by collectors because they come from vines that no longer exist. The labels are hand-painted and
personally signed by the owner. There are only 40 archived bottles in existence at this time.

completed with a lush acidity that enhances the sensation of exotic fruit on the palate with a beautifully
lingering finish. The wine was selected as the best in its category and awarded a gold medal at the 2007
Valtice Wine Market competition and is registered in the 2007/2008 Czech Republic Wine Salon.

is full, bold and sleek on the palate, but due to a lush and crisp acidity also fresh and harmonic, as demonstrated by its distinctive fruit tones rounded off with a pleasant mineral finish.
