Bottle Connection Check
To prevent a disconnected solution reservoir to cause
processing error, the Automatic Bottle Connection Check will
be performed before processing. The Paraffin Containers

Vacuum Infiltration Processor
With the big brother of the Tissue-Tek® VIP® Jr.,
the Tissue-Tek® VIP® 5 Vacuum Infiltration
Processor, Sakura brings today’s histology
laboratories the fifth generation of a tissue
processor worldwide recognised as the laboratory
standard for its unmatched efficiency, processing 300
cassettes with only 4L, and reliability.
Tissue-Tek ® Tissue-Clear ® Xylene Substitute
Tissue-Tek® Tissue-Clear ® Xylene
Substitute is a biodegradable clearing
agent for paraffin processing of both
human and animal tissue specimen
and to de-paraffinise slides.
This clearing agent replaces Xylene
and is non-toxic, non-carcinogenic,
odourless and environmental friendly.
It does not evaporate as rapidly as
Xylene and does not absorb water from the air.
Tissue-Tek® Paraffin Wax (1 µm filtered)
The unique blending and dust-free palletising technique of the
Tissue-Tek® Paraffin Wax allows sectioning as thin as 1 µm.
The low melting points protect samples from heating damage.
It is supplied in small pellets for easy handling and rapid melting.
Due to 1 µm filtering the Tissue-Tek® Paraffin Wax is extremely
clear, so it does not contain any dust. In addition, a polymer is
added to the Tissue-Tek® III Paraffin Wax to increase the flexibility.
The Tissue-Tek® II and III Paraffin Wax is available in various
packaging sizes.
