The ČD Cargo joint-stock co. was founded as a subsidiary the Czech Railways
joint-stock co. on the 1st December, 2007 by divesting a part the cargo
transport of ČD, a.s.
We are the largest Czech railway freight company and in
terms of our transport volume, we are one of the five
largest railway transporters within the EU. We
transport a wide range of goods from raw
materials to products with high added value,
container transport, special parcels, rent
railway cars and sidings, and provide other
transport services.
We offer services to customers at around one
thousand sites in the Czech Republic and
throughout Europe as well, via subsidiaries. We
provide domestic and international transport to
suit the various requirements of our clients.
