Position Description:
The Food Runner is responsible for fully supporting the Server/Expo position.
Basic functions of the Food Runner include:
Running food
Handling cash & other forms of payment
Demonstrating responsible alcohol service
Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge
Answering questions - accurately and politely
Properly reading items printed on order tickets
Assembling orders - double checking product quality and specs
Satisfying any/all needs of the guests - regularly
Maintaining a clean & organized station – including pre-bussing & table maintenance
Properly labeling dating covering and refrigerating prepped items for the expo line
Performing opening closing & side duties – setting up/breaking down station expo line refilling condiments cleaning ashtrays etc

SCHEDULES:
Schedules will vary and is based on business needs- weekends and holidays are required. Some morning shifts will begin as early as
6:00am. Some evening shifts may work as late as 2:00am during busy time periods.
Friends traveling together cannot be guaranteed the same day off or the same scheduled shift. Please be prepared for this.
GROOMING AND APPEARANCE GUIDELINES:
All department uniform jeans/pants must not be faded torn or have designs .on them.
* If hair is longer than shoulder length employee must tie it back.
* Facial hair is acceptable but employee should “have a plan” and look well groomed at all times.
* Employees are expected to maintain good personal hygiene.
* Tattoos and body-piercings are acceptable if they are in good taste and do not violate sanitation and health policies.

HOUSING:
Students are required to find housing in Myrtle Beach prior to your U.S. arrival. Your Intrax Representative will provide you with a list
of Housing Leads to select from. It will be your responsiblity to arrange the housing before traveling to the United States. Here are

and rent upon your arrival.
PARTICIPANTS WHO DO NOT ARRANGE THEIR HOUSING PRIOR TO ARRIVAL WILL NEED TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO
STAY IN A HOTEL UNTIL THEY CAN LOCATE HOUSING.
Hotels in Murtle Beach are very expensive. Please make sure you arrange your housing before you travel to the United States.
Housing Features:
The type of housing will depend on what you choose. This is typically shared apartments or homes.
Some locations may be furnished while others may not.
Some location may require you to pay for utilities such as electricity water trash removal cable TV and internet. Please be sure to
discuss this with your landlord when making housing arrangments

This is the typical cost when sharing housing with 3 to 4 other employees.

Second jobs are permitted. Employees must be available for every shift they are scheduled to work at Hard Rock Cafe and their
second job must not interfere with their work performance.
