A Word from Chair of the Board of Trustees Dear friends, Once again we would like to share with you the annual description of the Committee of Good Will – Olga Havel Foundation work, this time covering year 2013. Let me get a little personal here. I am often under the impression that we get absorbed by the current acceptance of the ongoing presence which brings up doubts and hopes about the future. That is the reason why I would like to share with you my joy and appreciation for the continuity and “good practice” of the OHF community, the way it was originally established by Olga Havel. You will surely notice in our report how her message has survived in today´s society, how not only the youth intuitively seeks for role models in altruism and common responsibility for selfintegrity and integrity of the the whole society. I thank all the resourceful and devoted colleagues in the Committee of Good Will, and prudent managers of the Olga Havel Foundation. I thank all of you who spread the good will, and to Olga Havel, who still accompanies us through our worries and hopes. To the final note, for joy and encouragement, I will add a quote from Mother Teresa, which would also be appreciated by practical and proactive Olga: “We should not be pushing ourselves into achieving great things. It is enough to do little things, but with great love.” And I dare to add – and with perseverence. Yours, Dana Němcová.
