The best Brno contestant.
Special award for the best performance in the categories I to III.
The special awards cannot be shared.
The Jury may provide special awards to educators for a successful preparation of their pupils.
Decisions of the Jury shall be final.
Contestants' age and division to categories
 Amadeus is a single-round contest.
 Participants shall be classified into the six age categories according to their age reached

as per December 31 , 2014. A study in a Basic School of Arts shall not be a condition for
the participation.

Competition repertory
(a) At least one piece by W. A. Mozart.
(b) Other pieces entirely from W. A. Mozart's contemporaries (for the list of authors, please,
visit www.amadeusbrno.cz).
(c) The number of pieces is arbitrary.
(d) The total time limit must be observed to; only in the event a contestant will play a single
piece of a longer duration (for example Variations by Mozart), the limit may be exceeded for
the Categories I to III by 30 seconds and for the Categories IV to VI maximally by 1 minute.
(e) Only pieces for a solo piano may be plaid. A condition shall be to ply by heart.
Contest awards
In the respective categories the Jury shall award:

1 , 2 , 3 rank and the Certificate of Merit.
Upon the Jury's proposal the awards may be shared; a certain award need not be awarded.
The award holders shall obtain the title of the Contest's Laureate.
Special awards:
The South Moravian Region Chairman's Award for the absolute Contest winner.
The absolute Contest winner will also be provided the offer to perform in a concert with
the Brno Filharmonic orchestra.
The Mayor of the City of Brno Award for the best interpretation of a W. A. Mozart's
composition.
Registration

The closing term for the registration shall be: May 31 , 2015.
The Registration forms must in the electronic form to: www.amadeusbrno.cz .
The registration forms received by the organizers after the given term will not be taken into
consideration.
The maximum number of participants shall be 100.

On September 15 , 2015 the time-schedule of warm-up practising on the Steinway contest
piano will be published in: www.amadeusbrno.cz .
By the sending of the registration form the contestant's representative shall agree
both with the free recording of an audiovisual record and taking of photographs of
the contestant's performance in the laureates' concert in Besední dům on October

Participation charge
The participation charge shall be non-returnable and shall amount to CZK 1,300.00 or
EUR 50.00.
