Hana Babak was born in Prague,
but has had the opportunity to live,
work, and travel in different parts
of the world, beginning when
she was in high school.
She was deeply influenced
by her long-term stay in Japan,
where she has returned often
over the years. After high school,
she spent two years living in Berlin,
where she had the opportunity
to work as an assistant for the
painter George Jiri Dokoupil.
Armed with these experience,
as well as lifelong love for art
and unshakeable desire for
creative self-expression,
she began creating her own
experimental work, in which

Czech artist focused on graffiti scene and street art.
At the age of 15 (1993) Jan painted his first graffiti piece.
One year later, he painted his first panel. In 2000 he visited New York,
the birthplace of graffiti, where he virtually created the icing on the
cake - work of several street art pannels. In 2001, he shifted the
boundaries of graffiti, and became in his own words one of the first
plastic 3D graffiti artists in the Word. In 2006 Jan completed
his university studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.

Martin Kocourek graduated from the Academy
of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague
and his focus is on sculpture. He mainly works
with metal material combined with wood,
creating metaphorical objects of strong emotional
pathos. Kocourek’s objects and installations
are simple, urgent and expressive, lacking
any hidden meanings. By selecting rough,
unprocessed metals without finish as well
as found materials and waste along with pressing
message, Kocourek attacks the viewers
and is almost able to move them to tears.
His works are personal, imbued with lived
experience, and unbelievably authentic.
In our timefull of big ironies we feel that Kocourek
attempts at returning to subjects linked with
deep artistic message. The artist widely exhibits
both in Czech Republic and abroad and was also
represented at the Italian Arte Fiera Bologna 2009
