to t\4andatory Bulletin No. SW13-066a SR R1, issued by Evektor, it need not be
replacedl
Reason
There was one incident with positive identification of counterfeit V-218 series
propeller being used on Ll3SEVivat motorglider.
Due to suspected use offurther counterfeit propellers, the holder of V 218 type
certificate issues this Order ro inspect all affected propellers.

Work procedure
To maintain continLrous airworthiness, it is necessary to perform:
Physical inspection of installed propeller, using identification signs listed in Annex
1 to this Service Bulletin. The propeller need not be removed from the A,/c for

inspection.
Measure
Administrative check of propeller accompanyinB documentation.
Provided that the inspection found compliance with the description of identification
signs listed in Annex 1to this Service Bulletin, authorized person will record the
following into the Propeller logbookr "Verification ofV-218 propeller, S/N ......., has
been performed according to service Bulletin No. 07/00, and no discrepancies have
been found".
lfthe propeller does not meet the description of identification signs listed in Annex 1
to this Service Bultetin, it must be removed from A/C immediately and this issue must
be reported to holder ofV-218 type certificate using form F 4-02_l "Unairworthy
condition report" - Annex 2.

V-218 PROPELLER IDENTIFICATION SIGNS
This annex lists identification signs ofV-218 series propellers (TC EASA.P,175) depending on
manufacturer of specific piece.

older than 20 years (on starting inspection) are not airworthy anymore.
