DR DUNCAN HINE
Duncan joined Identity and Passport Service of the UK´s Home Office in mid
2007. He has overall accountability for security and counter fraud for IPS and
manages the co-ordination of risk and integrity for the passport service and the
National Identity Scheme. He also has external interests the security industry.
Before joining IPS he was the managing director of the security division of QinetiQ
PLC - leader in defence and security technology-based services and solutions with
over 14,000 employees operating across the world.
He joined QinetiQ from Generics AG where he was a key part of the team that
listed this high-tech company on the London Exchange. Prior to this he was the
Group CTO of The Post Office in the United Kingdom. Duncan was the senior non
executive director of Northgate PLC for seven years,
Presently, Duncan combines his role at IPS with a number of other activities
including directorships in the health, and security industries, leading the Council
on Innovation within The Conference Board Europe - a blue chip innovation network,
and a visiting professorship at York University.
ZCIZENÁ IDENTITA VRAŽDÍ
20. ledna 2010 byl hotelu Al Bustan Rotana zavražděn
izraelským komandem vojenský šéf palestinského
Hamasu Mahmúd Abdel Rauf al-Mabhúh. Jedenáct
příslušníků Mossadu uniklo všem bezpečnostním
opatřemím na hranicích i v hotelu - použilo britské,
irské, francouzské, německé a australské pasy a
úspěšně si osvojilo falešnou identitu.
Místo činu : Dubaj. Příklad dokonalé akce, která je
noční můrou bezpečnostních a antiteroristických
systémů ve všech zemích, které jsou ve válce se
světovým terorismem.
Dr. Duncan Hine a Dr. Henry Bloomfield vedou tým, který koordinuje nasazení
špičkových technologií, jež mají Velkou Británii ochránit před podobnými zločiny
zvně i zevnitř.
