Tento vzor byl navržen v době vrcholné
secese kolem roku 1927. Marienbad je se
vzletným půvabem vytvořen z jediného
skleněného provazce. Zdobení kalíšku
šestistranným obloukovitě ukončeným
plošným brusem je jedním z typických
znaků nápojového skla moserovského
původu. Kalíšek plynule přechází do nožky broušené na 6 hran. Na vývoji tohoto
typu brusu se podílel i Leo Moser, syn
zakladatele firmy Moser. Krásu kalíšků
na víno je možné podtrhnout typickými
moserovskými přejímanými barvami, jako
je amethyst, růžová, modrá, aurora, reseda a zelená. Noblesu pak umocní zlacený
okraj nebo ryté lovecké motivy.
Design circa 1927, at the height of the
stylish Art Deco era. Graceful and flowing,
Marienbad is sculpted from a single strand
of glass and panel cut into six sides by
hand. The bowl extends harmoniously over
the stem cut on six facets. The Marienbad
suite is typical for its style of cutting with
facets ending in arches. This style became
one of the characteristic features of Moser
drinking glass. We can assume that Leo
Moser, the son of the founder of Moser
glassworks, had a significant role in the
development of this style of cutting. The
beauty of the bowls is emphasized by the
typical Moser overlay colours as amethyst,
rose, blue, aurora, reseda or green. Golden
rim or engraved motifs of birds accentuate
the grandeur of Marienbad.
