Pojistný systém je zajištěný prostřednictvím dvou pružin, připevněných na
jedno z ramen paralelogramu. Síla
potřebná k odjištění může být jednoduše
nastavena změnou napnutí pružiny.
Všechny modely TB jsou vybaveny Nonstop pojistným systémem, který umožní
sklopení pracovního ústrojí dozadu.

TB, TBE and TBES shredders are
compelling in their versatility of use.
Whether it´s the fight against weeds on
field verges, the maintenance of grassy
strips, ditches or banks or shredding
the annual hedge growth – there is
a solution for everyone. In diverse
situations they carry out a reliable job,
supported by their sturdy design and
safety features to avoid damage.
Nevertheless, the machines are designed to achieve an optimum output.

TRIED AND TESTED STRENGTH
PROTECTED AGAINST IMPACT
Designed for intensive use, the frame of the KUHN verge shredders is unmatched in its reliability and longevity. Some details:
- hitch frame 120 x 120 mm and hitch yokes on TBE and TBES,
- a 80 mm wide parallelogram arm fitted on Ø 40 mm shaft
(TBE/TBES),
- self-lubricating bushes on all pivot points.
When meeting an obstacle, the machine frame is protected
by a Non-Stop spring-loaded safety system. After the obstacle
is cleared the machine will automatically return to working
position.
Moreover, the mechanical parts which are exposed to impact
(body, belt guard, bearing…) are all protected and the casing
features a bolted 4 mm thick sheet metal lining for increased
resistance to impacts and wear.
WORK OUTPUT COMES FIRST
SUPERIOR STABILITY
Owing to the special design of the shredder casing, large
quantities of plants can be shredded at high speed. This is
possible because of the following specificities:
- body geometry designed for improved suction and discharge
of residues;
- 450 mm rotor rotating at 2203 min-1 (TBE and TBES).
All KUHN verge shredders are equipped with a tamping roller
with removable end-pieces.
RESULT: reduced and facilitated maintenance and improved
operations. For work on irregular land, the body is protected
by wide, height-adjustable skids (fixed on TB).

THE SHREDDER
FOR PRIVATE
As individual farmer, the TB shredders will fit your demands. They are designed for
shredding 40 to 100 hours per year on private farms. It is ideal to work on field verges,
roadsides, banks and ditches to protect your fields from penetrating weeds or simply
maintain grassy areas.
EVERYTHING FOR RELIABILITY AND SAFETY
Durable machines is what you need for working with total ease of mind.
On the TB shredders you will find:
- all pivot points mounted on cellular wear rings (bronze),
- a Non-Stop safety system with two springs and automatic return into working position,
- bolted sheet metal lining on the inside of the shredder casing.

VERGE SHREDDERS
MULTI-PURPOSE
AND STRONG!
The heavy-duty version TBE is designed for higher
workloads per year, thus especially suitable for
machinery cooperatives, private farms of larger
sizes, or even contractors. You can use these
reliable models, available in working widths
from 1.80 to 2.30 m, for diverse situations, from
maintaining field edges and paths to managing
fallow land and grassy areas.
AS VERSATILE AS YOU WANT
Through its kinetics, the TBE has a large lateral offset
capability.
Positioned behind the tractor it suits perfectly for path
maintenance, while you can maintain verges, ditches
and hedges with this machine in offset position.
Look for the left offset version of the TBE 210.

AT EASE ON DIFFICULT TERRAIN
Even on the roughest land, the TBE´s work quality
will be excellent. Featuring a pivoting hitch frame,
floating shredding casing and a roller positioned just
behind the rotor, ground following will be superb.

This front-mounted shredder is the

especially designed for working on
slopes.

versions of this shredder are also

The PRO has been designed to withstand the toughest
conditions, owing to:
- its structure made of high-yield strength
steel (Domex) integrating two
transversal beams;
- its inner and outer
reinforcements at the point
where the tractor lift arms
are attached;
- its bolted sheet metal lining
for optimum protection
against wear and shocks.
Apart from these assets the
designers have also focused on
weight reduction.
The specific kind of steel used here
(Domex) ensures that you will benefit
from a improved weight /robustness ratio.
A COMPACT MULTI-PURPOSE UNIT

The PRO shredders are ideally adapted for coupling
to REFORM and AEBI tractors, especially designed
for working on slopes. An overhang reduced to a
minimum ensures excellent load distribution
and perfect stability.
THE KUHN +
OPTIMUM FLEXIBILITY
According to the working conditions, the PRO can be equipped with a standard or two-way rotor gearbox.
In difficult conditions with a high presence of scrub and wood residues, the latter will provide you the flexibility
you need.
To increase comfort, the PRO can be equipped with:
- a hydraulically controlled front hood (only available with the two-way rotor gearbox)
- a hydraulic rotor rotation inverter. This equipment has a built in electro-hydraulic safety switch, preventing any
inversion of the direction whilst thr rotor is rotating

To meet the most intensive use
criteria, the PRO shredder is fitted
with:
- a central gearbox that accepts a
maximum power of 60 kW
(82 hp) at 540 min-1 or 92 kW

- a rotor drive per POWERBAND
XPB 3 strand belt.
In order to reduce wear and operating costs, the side skids are fitted
with interchangeable wearing parts,
(made of Hardox steel).
