mFLOR – The innovative design floor
mFLOR has been the specialist in vinyl strips and
tiles (also known as PVC flooring) for many years,
with more and more homes and projects using
vinyl strips and tiles. After all, these floors naturally
offer many more benefits – they look natural, help
you create and make for a pleasant living/working
atmosphere and are so easy to maintain. This is
what puts mFLOR at the forefront in the
development of new designs and innovations.
Innovative designs
Design your very own floor
Choosing a floor on the basis of a photo of a single strip or tile, as displayed on
websites or in brochures, is not easy. For example, in the
case of many wood patterns, the strips vary in colour
and structure, creating a natural look. The character
of a floor is only really established by the
incorporation of multiple strips or tiles within a
design. Samples are handy but even then, the
same disadvantages arise.
Nothing beats the sight of a
floor in a living or work
environment.
In order to make this possible, we have scanned all the items in
the mFLOR collection - not just a small part, but enough strips or
tiles to make up a floor in a room. You can view these images in
mFLOR Studio. There are several photographs of project
environments to choose from, showing different styles and
possibilities. Laying directions and patterns can also be selected, if you
wish. To match your requirements more closely, it is also possible to
change the colour of the walls in many of the photos.

mFLORCONTACT, an entirely new idea for the
installation of design floors without adhesives.
This is achieved by using a fine absorbent textile weave on the
back of the mFLORCONTACT product, impregnated with resin,
formulated to be non-setting and capable of making a solid but
non-permanent bond with the subfloor.

BROAD LEAF
The mFLORCONTACT system resists any lateral movement, but
allows the floor finish to be taken up and re-installed with ease,
making it especially useful where access to services under a
raised floor is required.
mFLORCONTACT has a total thickness of 3.0mm, including the
adhesive system which supports a full 0.55mm commercial
wearlayer. The ability to deliver a high design commercial floor
finish with this thickness and without glue is unique to
mFLORCONTACT, and the low mass involved contributes to both
end user cost savings and to the sustainability of the product.

The elimination of the requirement for an adhesive has a major
influence on installation time and cost, and eliminates the release
of solvents or humidity associated with liquid glues.
