Exkluzivní značka Buddha-Bar, jedinečná vize kreativního ducha francouzského podnikatele a architekta Raymonda Visana, přichází do Prahy s vůbec prvním konceptem Buddha-Bar Hotelu na světě. Součástí pětihvězdičkového hotelu je také legendární Buddha-Bar restaurace & bar a zcela nová trendy restaurace Siddharta-Café. Vedle luxusu inspirovaného orientem nabízí Buddha-Bar a Buddha-Bar Hotel především jedinečný zážitek, který si návštěvníci mohou vychutnat během několika hodin, ale i několika dní. Investorem projektu je skupina CPI Group společně s J&T Real Estate. Butikový pětihvězdičkový Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague vznikl rekonstrukcí šestipodlažní památkově chráněné budovy z počátku 20. století, která stojí v samém srdci Prahy, v Jakubské ulici nedaleko Staroměstského náměstí a kostela sv. Jakuba. Interiéru všech 36 luxusních pokojů a tří stylových apartmánů vévodí černá masivní postel z palisandru s vyobrazením draka v čele. Jedi- nečnou atmosféru pak dotváří podmanivé světlo čínských lamp a náladová hudba. Do vybavení patří např. televizory Bang & Olufsen, které umožňují i poslech hudby mixované DJem přímo z baru či televize s dálkovým ovládáním zabudovaná v zrcadlové stěně oproti vaně a řada dalších. Péči o zákazníka podporuje tzv. buddhattitude – elegantní a smyslný koncept lázeňské péče, hotel využívá dokonce vlastní exkluzivní kosmetiku značky buddhattitude – řady Himalayan, Signature a Tibetan. Interiér svými sytými barvami a hrou jasných světel evokuje pop-artovou atmosféru, kterou podtrhuje propojení původních, orientálních a moderních prvků – štuky zdobený kazetový strop či efektní barevné obrazce a dřevěné niky podél stěn restaurace, které zdobí 72 skleněných sošek Buddhy. Prague’s unique Buddha-Bar Hotel the first of its kind The ranks of Prague’s luxury hotels were joined by another addition at the end of January. The exclusive Buddha-Bar brand, the unique vision of the creative spirit of French entrepreneur and architect Raymond Visan, is coming to Prague with the very first concept of the Buddha-Bar Hotel in the world. The five-star hotel also includes the legendary Buddha-Bar restaurant & bar and an entirely new trendy restaurant Siddharta-Café. In addition to luxury inspired by the orient, the Buddha-Bar and Buddha-Bar Hotel primarily offer a unique experience, which the visitors can enjoy over the course of a few hours or a few days. The project’s investors are CPI Group together with J&T Real Estate. The five-star boutique Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague began as the reconstruction of the six-storey historically-preserved building from the beginning of the 20th century that stands in the very heart of Prague, in Jakubská Street not far from the Old Town Square and St. Jacob’s church. Thus the original generous architecture highlighted by stucco ceilings is combined with original oriental elements in the new design. The interior of the hotel and the individual rooms are dominated by red and gold, which contrasts with the black and dark-brown furniture highlights, such as chairs with alligator prints or bamboo panelling. The interior of all 36 luxury rooms and three stylish apartments is dominated by a massive black jacaranda bed with the image of a dragon at the head of the bed. The unique atmosphere is made complete by the captivating light of Chinese lamps and mood music. The oriental magic is heightened by unobtrusive modern technology that no luxury hotel can do without. The facilities include, for example, Bang & Olufsen television, which make it possible to listen to music mixed by a DJ right at the bar, or television with a remote control built into the mirrored wall opposite the bathtub and several others. Customer care is heightened by “buddhattitude”, an elegant and sensual concept for spa care. The hotel even uses its own exclusive buddhattitude cosmetic lines – the Himalayan, Signature and Tibetan ranges. Siddharta-Café, the still hot variation on the Buddha-Bar concept, is also worthy of attention. The interior, with its rich colours and the interplay of bright lights, evokes a pop-art atmosphere, which is underscored by an intertwining of original, oriental and modern elements – a coffered ceiling decorated with stucco or effective colourful graffito and wooden niches along the walls of the restaurant that are decorated with 72 glass Buddha statues. Oriental-flavoured richlydecorated chandeliers stand out in the middle of the original interior, which is captivating at first glance. The upholstered turquoise chairs or the armchairs and sofas of the adjacent lounge pleasantly match the furnishings of the interior spaces of the restaurant for 100 guests. The jewel of the concept, however, is the actual Buddha Bar. Guests enter the expansive space of the two underground floors by a “floral staircase” right from the street. Intimate lighting is provided by huge, richly-decorated chandeliers and candles, which light up the almost three-metre-long statue of a sitting Buddha, which is the dominant feature and main inspirational feature of the restaurant interior. Round tables made of dark bamboo are surrounded by luxurious chairs upholstered in a shade of dark red. The open space of the former Tabarina nightclub is preser- ved, though its layout closely reflects the celebrated Buddha-Bar in Paris. A bar and lounge for 100 people is situated in the upper part of the mezzanine, while the lower floor is taken up by a luxury restaurant for 150 guests. Here they can savour gourmet delicacies from an offer of mainly Asian dishes inspired by the Paris Buddha-Bar’s “signature dishes” while enjoying the unique atmosphere highlighted by sensual music. The mastermind of the concept is the French entrepreneur with Romanian roots, Raymond Visan, who started his career by operating restaurants in the style of American diners from the 1950’s. Later, as an enthusiastic traveller, he was enchanted by the allure of the orient, transforming its magical ingredients into a unique chain of restaurants, which simultaneously evoked musical clubs with their atmosphere. This how the B*fly concept was born, soon followed by the renowned Buddha-Bar. In addition to Paris this can now be found in Beirut, New York, Dubai, Kiev, Sao Paulo, London, Cairo, Jakarta, etc. The Prague Buddha-Bar hotel is the very first in the world; others should open in Paris and Budapest within a year. Raymond Visan would like to expand this concept to Moscow and Romania in the future, and open “resort” hotels in Egypt and the Maldives.
