OTHELLO EGP IN PRAGUE 2015 - TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE Venue DDM Praha 2 (House of children and youth in Prague 2, Slezská street, no. 21). /it´s close to Náměstí míru (in English it can be translated as „Peace Square“), which is station of metro line A/ FEBRUARY 14th, Saturday: • 9:00 Sign up • 9:30 1st round • 12:30 Lunch • 13:30 4th round •17:00 End of day 1 FEBRUARY 15th, Sunday: • 9:30 8th round •13:30 Lunch •14:30 Final and 3/4th playoff •17:30 Winner's ceremony Format • 11 rounds Swiss + finals (Saturday: 7 Swiss rounds; Sunday: 4 Swiss rounds, finals and 3/4th playoff) Entry fee: • 0.4 EUR / 10 CZK juniors (up to 15 years inclusive) • 4 EUR / 100 CZK other players Accomodation • • Hotel Claris is across the street from the venue. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Hotel-Claris/117396308338479?fref=ts At the tournament location for only 4 EUR / 100 CZK per person and night. Sleeping on comfortable campbeds with foam mattresses and pillows, you are only requested to bring your own sleeping bag. Toilets, showers and kitchen available. A supermarket (Albert) is just around the corner, open daily 7:00–21:00. How to get there • By plane – take the bus no. 119 from the Letiste Ruzyne (Letiste Václava Havla) bus stop at the airport to Dejvicka metro station, then by metro line A to Jiriho z Podebrad. From there it's several minutes of walk downhill to the tournament place. You can get a free map at the airport. If you don't feel like walking, you can take a tram from Jiriho z Podebrad to Vinohradska trznice. The whole trip should take 45 to 60 minutes. One public transport ticket costs 32 CZK (about 1.3 EUR) and is valid for 75/90 minutes (weekdays/weekend) with unlimited transfering between buses, trams, metro and even some trains, which means you can get from the airport to almost anywhere in Prague for just 1.3 EUR. • By car – please use Google maps directions. Warning: Parking in Prague can be tricky. Someone's car got towed on multiple occasions during tournaments. It is ALWAYS PROHIBITED to park at the blue-lined parking places.
