Ocun was founded in the very traditional climbing area of Bohemian Paradise
where climbers have been ascending the sandstone towers since the
19th century and every ascent leads to the summit.

Ocun Story
I sewed my first harness thirty years ago and since then have not stopped
thinking about developing improvements to all climbing equipment under
the brandname Ocun. Climbing is a passion, but also a responsibility
with a constant focus on safety. In the desire to improve equipment and
procedures we are constantly looking for new ways to heighten quality,
increase safety and perfect design. We feel a responsibility to all climbers,
customers and friends who rely on Ocun products every moment they spend
in the vertical space.
I love everything new and progressive and the possibilities that modern
technology provides us. We first learned how to utilize these technologies
in production. We then discovered the effectiveness of implementing
information technology into our business and can now apply all experiences
to ensure ease of work and increased safety during the use of our
equipment.
We are now entering the world of professional climbing. We are equipped
with a great deal of experience in sport climbing and the production of
climbing equipment and we wish to contribute further to the industry. Our
way of thinking is vertical, our goal is to link design with smart technology
and preventive safety.
The first results of our efforts and the contributions from the whole team at

This padding combines pure functionality features and
sporty design. It's special 3D shape with a breathable
hexagonal structure with a comfortable microporous
surface on the inner side and a durable and easy to clean
external surface, making the cleaning of contaminants and
the removal of ice and snow much easier. The padding is
tested against both extreme temperatures and mechanical
stress. Supplementary equipment for improving waist comfort and our unique solution for removable sliding shoulder

The approach to the newly designed Thor harness began
with the early development of our new segment of PPE
equipment for rope access and work at height. Without
question, perfect contact with the body is an important
requirement for the well-being of workers in every working condition and position. We therefore decided early on
that the Thor harness must be lightweight and flawless
in every way: ideal ventilation, optimal comfort, innovative
construction and technology - this is the perfect combination to keep you satisfied. Our Thor harnesses, which
we are now ready to offer, underwent a demanding three-year development and thorough testing in which their

Webee performance technology:
The multi-layer structure of the
waistbelt is constructed from PE
EVA, a 3D perforated foam with
a closed cellular structure that
doesn't absorb water, sweat or
other liquids, is abrasion resistant

Padded back:
The back of the harness is integrated with a polyethylene disc to improve back support and

Specially shaped D components:
Our connecting metal D components have been designed with the utmost care. They
fit into any EN 362 connector and allow for smooth movement around the entire inner
circumference. Quality anodizing has been applied to the surface.

Dedicated attachment points to the seat:
Two loops connecting the seat are located just below the EN 813 central attachment
point. Their positioning leads to the transfer of force from the seat to the EN 813 point
which remains free for other occupational equipment.

Self-locking buckle (SB):
A longstanding well-known and

harnesses. The self-locking buckle

Carabiner slots:
Slots for gear carabiners are located in front and behind the adjustable D components.
Carabiner slots on the legs serve to conveniently store your rope out of the way of your
main workspace. These positions are ideally suited for our small "Kestrel" carabiner.

Quick buckle (QB) - Thor 2Q and
4Q Models:
Quick buckles allow for fast and safe
opening and closing of supporting
loops with a single small move.
Compared with conventional buckles,
quick buckles enable you to put on
our harnesses in a much faster and
easier way.
Removable padding:
Our harnesses are equipped with removable padded shoulder straps. If necessary, the
lining can be readjusted or completely removed, preventing undesired friction between
the harness and the neck. Other additional padding can be easily installed in the lumbar
part of the harness. The stiffness rigidity of this part ensures sufficient support of the
body and elevates comfort during work.

Double ended straps:
The double ends of the straps makes them easy to grip when tightening, even when
wearing gloves. Were the strap to be extended all the way to the regulation buckle,
repeated shortening without the doubled ends would be very difficult, especially in gloves.

Four gear loops with reinforced braiding and increased wear resistance. Load capacity is

A systematic label with serial identification is protected by durable fabric and is easy to
access even when wearing the harness. The label contains identification information
necessary for registration and regular inspections.
Solution of the central attachment point:
Strength sewing is compactly covered thereby preventing premature abrasion. The
central D-ring is separately fixed to the strap, which allows for the addition of the ring.

of various models with different gear. The 4-in-1 concept
is part of a new approach enabling an extension of the
usage period on OCUN harnesses. Each of the 4 components - or modules - has its own registration label with
an unique serial number. In case of damage, you will be
able to place an order for any of the 4 individual modules
(waist, legs, chest V, top) from an authorized OCUN PSS
partner as long as the module's condition has been properly entered in the registry.

All spare parts are manufactured to correspond to those
used on your Thor harness and are certified and approved by an accredited laboratory. Each part has a unique
registration label which, thanks to the 4-in-1 solution
