Currency: In the Czech Republic the fully convertible and stable currency Czech
crown (koruna - CZK, Kč) is used. The approximate exchange rate is 27 Kč per 1 Euro
and 24.2 Kč per US dollar. In major shops or restaurants Euro currency could be used
but the exchange rate is worse ~25 Kč per 1 Euro. When exchanging money in
Prague, please ask for a commission and rate first - there is no commission in
Exchange offices in Pardubice. Use of ATM machines is recommended.

by shuttle bus: for direct connection to Prague-hlavní nádraží (train) use the bus
Airport express (AE). Bus stops are situated in front of Arrival Halls of Terminals 1
and 2. Ticket can be purchased from bus driver (100 Kč, aprox. 4 €, Czech currency
needed). You can also buy one combined ticket to train + AE at the corresponding
counter located in each terminal (see link below).

by bus: Prague airport is also operated by common buses of Prague transport
company, but it takes longer time (40 min.). For connection from airport to Praguehlavní nádraží (train) you can use combination of bus and subway (for example bus
119 and subway A, C). Tickets can be obtained at the counter of Prague transport
company situated in each terminal or at the vending machines located at bus stops.

by taxi: fares from the Prague Airport Terminals to the main railway station (Praha hlavní
nádraží) should be between 550-650 Kč, aprox. 20-25 €, Czech currency is needed,
surcharge when paid with Euro, US dollars or credit cards. We strongly recommend
to ask the driver for the price before embankment to let him know you know the
common prices.
Recommendation: Due to the higher prices, you are kindly requested to avoid the service of
exchange offices, which are located in airport terminals (ATM recommended).
