for the awning drive CSM-E

1. Install the winding shaft with the drive into the system.
2. Fix the shaft.
3. Attach the awning.

1. Start motor in "UP" direction
• The awning starts to open with a brief jerk.

3. Press "UP" and "DOWN" simultaneously
• Successful programming is indicated by a
back and forward movement.
Advice
• The programming mode is deactivated.
• Due to the integrated relays, it is possible to connect the elero
CSM-E awning drives in parallel.
The lower limit has been set.
• The maximum switching capacity of the Venetian blind
switches and the timers must be observed.
• Remove the installation cable.
• Control units with limit switch detection cannot be used.
• Connect the motor according to the wiring
diagram.
• Please ask for information about our control system
documentation.
Only for changing the LOWER limit
• Run awning to any intermediate position.
Removal of the motor cable plug (only for type 9 and 11)
• Press "UP" and "DOWN" simultaneously.
• Successful reactivating of the programming
mode is indicated by a back and forward
movement of the awning.

Keep these instructions in a safe place!
Device functions:
• Awning drive with integrated electronics.
• Integrated relieving function at the upper limit position.
• Straightforward programming via the installation cable.
• Visual and audible feedback from the drive during
programming.
Important safety advises!
Observe the following instructions.
Warning!
Risk of injury due to electrocution.
The connections to the 230 V mains must be made by
authorised specialist personnel.
Check the system (roller shutters, awnings) regularly
for wear or damage.
The regulations of the local energy supply company as
well as the regulations for wet and damp rooms
according to VDE 0100 must be followed when making
the connections.
Only use unmodified original elero electrical parts.
Keep people away from the system until it is
stationary.
When working on the system (servicing, cleaning
windows etc.), always separate it from the mains
supply.
Check the following before installation:
• The electronics will only work after the drive has been installed
in the winding shaft.
• The awning requires a fixed upper limit stop.
• Only perform connecting work with the power turned off.
• Do not drill in the area of the tubular motor.
• The system must be locked and the switchover delay set to
0.5 seconds.
• Do not connect the CSM-E awning drive in parallel with
conventional limit switch drives.
• Only use compatible control elements.
Installation
Warning!
Observe the following installation instructions!
• The drive must be fixed in such a way that it is
not a danger to personnel.
• Before installing the drive, all lines and
equipment, which are not required for operation,
must be removed from the site.
• During installation, during operation and when
work is carried out on the system, the option to
separate all three poles from the mains must
always exist (Hirschmann connector and
Hirschmann coupling or a two-pole switch with
minimum 3 mm contact gap or all-pole main
switch).
• If the drive is controlled by a switch with OFF
pre-setting (dead man’s button), the pushbutton
must be fitted at a height of more than 1.50 m
and separated from the moving parts. The travel
range of the systems must always be visible
during operation.
• Moving parts in a drive, which are below 2.5 m,
must be guarded.
• For drives supplied without a driven part the
design torque and the design operating time must
agree with the properties of the driven parts.
Please note the technical data on the type plate.
• Please note that with this drive (type 8, type 9
and type 11 tubular motors) the smallest internal
tube diameter corresponds with 36 mm, 47 mm
and 60 mm.
• The drive must be installed so that it cannot get
wet.
• Do not install drives in surroundings which are
at risk of explosion or in mobile appliances
(e.g. in vehicles).
• In the case of awnings it is essential to ensure
that a horizontal safety distance of >0.4 m is left
between the fully-unrolled awning and a fixed
object.

Pokyny pro montáž markýzových pohonů CSM-E :
Aby byla zajištěna optimální souhra mezi sluneční ochranou a pohonem CSM-E, je nutno při montáži dodržet
následující zásady :
 ukončovací profil musí dojíždět na pevný doraz
 zařízení musí být po mechanické stránce provozuschopné
 ovládání musí být vhodné pro trubkové pohony a zpoždění mezi jednotlivými přepnutími musí být min.
0,5 sec.
 CSM-E pohon nelze zapojovat paralelně s jinými motory s mechanickými koncovými vypínači
 Používat jen vhodné ovládací prvky, aby byla vyloučena vadná funkce
 Nikdy nezapojovat pod napětím !

Nastavení koncových poloh
Pohon je expedován v programovém modu, tento se projeví krátkým škubnutím při každém zapojení. VEN a
ZPĚT směry lze libovolně zapojit, pouze první „učební pohyb“ musí být proveden na min. 50 cm vzdálenost od
horního dorazu.
1.) ZPĚT pohyb naprogramovat (Auf)
Krátkým stiskem jede návin ve směru ZPĚT, dokud motor sám nevypne na dorazu.
2.) VEN pohyb naprogramovat (Ab)
Krátkým škubnutím jede návin ve směru VEN.
Jestliže je dosaženo požadované polohy pustit tlačítko VEN.
(Korektury lze kdykoliv provést).
3.) ZPĚT a VEN společně stisknout
Úspěšné naprogramování je potvrzeno krátkým pohybem tam a zpět. Programovací modus je vypnut.
Spodní koncová poloha je nastavena.
Odstraňte montážní kabel a zapojte zařízení podle schématu.
POZOR : Jen při změně koncové polohy VEN :
Jeďte s návinem do libovolné mezipozice a stiskněte společně obě tlačítka.
Úspěšné zapnutí programovacího modu se projeví krátkým pohybem tam a zpět.
