EXTENSIVE AND UNIQUE PRESENTATION OF
THE CZECH GLASS AND FASHION JEWELLERY INDUSTRIES,
WITH LEADING GLASS AND JEWELLERY PRODUCERS, GLASS SCHOOLS AND GLASS ARTISTS PARTICIPATING.
The exhibition will include live demonstrations of glassmaking techniques
– offhand blowing (“chair work”) at the glass furnace, glass cutting and engraving, blowing glass figurines, winding lamp beads,
painting Christmas decorations, painting on glass and making Tiffany window panels.
Visitors will have an opportunity to test their skills and give way to their imagination in a creative workshop
under the supervision of specialists, or have a go at playing Vetrachord “glass music”.
A wide offer of interactive audio-visual programmes, both instructive and entertaining, is prepared as well.
THE CONCERTO GLASSICO EXHIBITION IS HELD UNDER THE AEGIS
of Miloš Zeman, President of the Czech Republic, Lubomír Zaorálek, Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Věra Jourová, Minister for Regional Development, and the Municipality of the Capital City of Prague.
