PROFESSIONAL CURRICULUM VITAE
I was born 14.2. 1951 in the city of Most, Czech Republic. My studies, jobs and other
activities proceeded as follows:
1966 – 1969 SVVS in Nove Straseci (Secondary Universal Educational School). At this time I was
especially interested in electronics and amateur radiocommunication.
1969 – 1975 CVUT Praha (Czech Technical University, Faculty of Electrotechnics, specialization
communication technics).
1975 – 1976 Compulsory military service (teacher of electronics in the military officer school).
1976 – 1991 Independent research expert in national company Geoindustria (Geoindustria was a big
building, geological and geophysical Czechoslovak national company, was abolished in
1995).
Stock of the work:
- Service of up to date well logging, geophysical and geotechnical systems
(Gearhardt Owen, MLS, Halliburton, ABEM, BORROS etc.)
- Development and production of geophysical equipment, above all radiometric and
ultrasonic probes, microprocessore controlled well logging systems etc.
Education and other activities in this time period:
1982 – 1985 Postgraduate studium CVUT Praha, Faculty of Electronic Computers,
specialization microprocessors and microcomputers
1985 – 1990 Scientific postgraduate, CVUT Praha, Faculty of Measurement,
specialization digital measurement systems
1985 – 1987 Development and production of the digital well logging system (probes,
surface unit)
1988 – 1990 Distribution of the developed digital well logging system to the
Republic of Cuba; tutor of logging operators, tutor of geophysicists,
supervisor well logging operator, logging interpretation (Empresa de
geología, Santa Clara, Cuba)
1991 – 1995 Chief of private company GEOTREND (partnership of four experts).
Activities in this time period:
1991 – 1992 Bank credit purchase of heavy Cone Penetration Test equipment form
Gouda, Holland; bank credit purchase of well logging system Robertson
(probes, RG Portalog);
1992 – 1995 Job searching, field works, interpretation, development and production
of logging probes to the CPT equipment and to the Robertson system,
technical service, accounting.
In 1995, by imposition of two partners, the partnership GEOTREND fall out and the
remaining (me and my wife) forfeit a CPT equipment.
1995 – 2005 Secretary of GEOTREND Ltd. (private company in coparcenary of me and my wife geophysicist and geologist Ludmila Alexejeva).
Activities in this time period:

1995 – 1996
Development of full heavy CPT system (hydraulic, electric and
electronic parts) with usage of Robertson system both for penetration
and well logging, coordination of its production and funding of
backward leasing.
1996 – 2006 Job searching, field works, interpretation, development and production
of logging probes to the CPT equipment and to the Robertson system,
technical service, accounting.
Education and other activities in this time period:
In 2000 we gain profitable order for geophysical prospection of dikes of four future
hydroelectric plants in Congo – Brazzaville, Africa. Hence we leased a modern
geophysical apparatus (Earth Scientific Systems Ltd., UK). Since we had not geted paid
for our service we were obliged to return mentioned apparatus even if we paid 70 % of
its price.
At the and of 2000 died my wife Ludmila Alexejeva. Because she was responsible
expert for geology and geophysics and GEOTREND Ltd. was involved in debt (job in
Congo) I was obliged to obtain expert responsibilty.
2002 – 2004 SPS in Pribram (four years Secondary Industrial School, specialization
building geology and ecology);
2003 – 2004 VUT Brno, Faculty of Geotechnics, specialization geotechnical
exploration.
From 2003 owner of Special Expert Qualification in Performance of Activities Extra
Important in Term of Radiating Protection. From 2005 owner of State Professional
Competence in Engineering Geology and Geophysics, from 2006 owner of State
Professional Competence in Hydrogeology.
In course of my practise constantly observe news from subjects of my interest (electronics,
computation, programming, geophysics, geotechnics etc.). Three years ago I developed new combine
two channel penetration log probe - dielectric and neutron-neutron – for determination of soil humidity
and water saturation. In this time I am developing a humidity probe for moisture measuring of crushed
rock drayer.
Other personal dates:
1. Matrimony:
First matrimony (Ludmila Alexejeva) from 1978 to 2000. Second matrimony
(Maria Stara) from 2002. 12.6. 2007 was born my son Vaclav Stary (see figure below).

2. Languages: Russian and Spanish fluently speaking and writing, English writing (worse
speaking because of without conversation practise).
3. Other: Good experience in Assembler and TurboPascal programming, basic knowledge in
C++ and HTML programming. Custom knowledge of AutoCAD, Corel Draw, Grapher,
Surfer, and of coarse of Word and Excel. From 1978 to 2005 responsible expert at works with
source of ionizating radiation. Driving licence A, B, C, T. Good health.
