Educational plan Dragons
Themes : Fairy tales and theater, Valentine’s day and the heart, At the doctor’s and
healthy living, Carnival festivities.
Vocabulary:
Fairy Tales and theater:. : the usual royals (king, queen, prince, princess etc...), giant,
ogre, fairies, goblins, castle, knight, danger, happy end, stage, costumes, actor/actress.
Every day we will discuss a different fairy tale and do a related activity. The children
will have to think about what advice the fairy tale is giving them to keep out of or
escape danger.
Valentine’s day and the heart: St Valentine and the date, celebration, a heart,
positive feelings, love, being in love, gifts, chocolate, flowers (roses, tulips, a bouquet),a
love letter, a date.love songs, poems. Our heart and its functions.
At the doctor’s and healthy living and hygiene tips: the doctor, the dentist, the
nurse, an examination, a diagnosis, a recipe, medicine, headache, stomach ache,
toothache, a cough, a runny nose, a sore throat, a scratch, a burn, a cut, a bruise, a
bump (injuries from the playground) + who/what you use to solve it. How to prevent the
spreading of germs around the preschool (coughing, sneezing, tissues and washing hands
rules).
Carnival celebration: lens, costumes, fancy dress, parade, carnival treats and cooking,
utensil names, make up, music, dance,
