FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE
The pack contains:
1x exhaust end muffler
1x connection pipe
(1x end pipe, optional)
1 x customizing kit
1x fitting instructions
Note: We recommend an assembly in a workshop!
Note: It is not possible to install the diffuser in cars with tow bar.
1. Cut the exhaust pipe at the point marked in illustration 1 + 2 (center notch
of 3 notches) using an appropriate tool. Detach the original end muffler and
unscrew the back exhaust holder.
2. Install the supplied exhaust holder at the point intended between fuel tank
and spare-wheel tray (fig. 3). If necessary, bend the silencing material aside.
3. Slip the supplied sleeve and the adapter in such a way on the exhaust pipe
that the adapter protrudes approx. 20 mm beyond the end of the pipe (fig. 4).
4. Plug the connection pipe on the adapter, align and mount both supplied
brackets, however, first, tighten them only slightly (fig. 5).
5. Now mount the diffuser 561xx according to instructions.
6. Plug the sports end muffler on the connection pipe, suspend in the front
exhaust holder and screw on the rear exhaust holder.
7. Fasten the end pipe with the supplied copper nuts to the muffler.
8. Align the complete sports end muffler in such a way that the end pipes are
centered in the cut-out of the diffuser (fig. 6+7). Protect the rear exhaust
holder in this position against slipping aside using the supplied lock washer
(fig. 8+9). Finally, tighten all locking brackets from the front to the rear.
Important: The vehicle is ready for driving after six hours only - see fitting
instructions of diffuser 561xx.
