Scientific Collaborations
International collaborations:
- in total we spend about 500 days in foreign labs per year
(in particular, at the Joint European Torus JET, but also in
Germany, France, UK, ITER IO…)
- also approx. 500 days of foreign guests at COMPASS
(in particular from Hungary, Portugal, France etc)
- annual Programmatic Conference, International Board of
Advisors, Steering Committee
- we have members of international councils including the
F4E Governing Board

EDUCATION and TRAINING
Association IPP.CR and education:
- Currently 12 undergraduate and 15 doctoral students supervised
on COMPASS tokamak
- Bachelor’s and Master’s programme “Physics and Technology
of Thermonuclear Fusion” at the Czech technical University
(some subjects taught by COMPASS staff), doctoral programme
at the Charles University
- GOLEM tokamak at Czech Technical University
- we participate in the FUSENET Association www.fusenet.eu and
are associated to the Erasmus Mundus Fusion DC
- International training courses: Summer Training Course SUMTRAIC,
remote training course on GOLEM GOMTRAIC etc.
