Memorando de Entendimiento en Gooperaci6n Ambiental entre el
Ministerio del Ambiente de la Rep0blica del Perf y el
Ministerio del Ambiente de la Reptblica Checa
El Ministerio del Ambiente de la Repiblica del Pero y el Ministerio de Ambiente de la
Rep0blica Checa, en adelante denominados "Los Participantes";
Asumiendo
la importancia de la promoci6n de la protecci6n ambiental y el
desarrollo
sostenibte para encarar efectivamente los desaflos globales en el dmbito ambiental;
Teniendo en cuenta los compromisos internacionales para lograr un desarrollo sostenible;
Buscando fortalecer
y profundizar la cooperaci6n bilateral en el 6mbito de la protecci6n
ambiental y el desarrollo sostenible;
Creyendo que sus esfuezos colaborativos seren de beneficio para ambos Participanles y
que los mismos reflejan sus buenas relaciones bilaterales;
Tienen la intenci6n de coooerar en las 5reas de:

Manejo sostenible de los recursos naturales y protecci6n de la tierra;
2. Cambio climdtico, incluyendo medidas de adaptaci6n;
3. Tratamiento y manejo de residuos incluyendo residuos peligrosos;
4. Energias renovables y eficiencia energetica;
5. Gesti6n sostenible de los parques nacionales, de las 6reas protegidas y de la
conservaci6n de la biodiversidad:

Protecci6n del recurso hidrico, tratamiento de aguas residuales y soslenibilidad
ambiental del recurso hidrico:
7. Protecci6n y calidad del aire;
8. Geologfa e hidrogeologia ambiental;
9. Investigaci6n y tecnologias ambientales.
Parrafo ll
La cooperaci6n podre tomar la forma de:

Intercambio de experiencias, de know-how y de informaci6n;
Cooperaci6n de negocios a negocios o cooperaci6n de gobierno a negocios;

3. Organizaci6n conjunta de seminarios, talleres y encuentros;
4. Apoyo en cooperaci6n cientifica y tecnol6gica en el Ambito ambiental;
5. Otras formas de cooperaci6n que los Participantes puedan decidir'
Parrafo lll
El presente Memorando no generara obligaciones juridicas vinculantes para ninguno de
los Participantes y refleja la intenci6n de ambos Participantes de fortalecer la cooperaci6n
en el Smbito ambiental.

The Ministry of the Environment of the Republic of Peru and the Ministry of

Environment of the Czech Republic, hereafter referred lo as the Participants;
Assuming the importance of environmental protection and sustainable development
promotion to effectively address global challenges in the environmental field;
Taking into accounf international commitments to achieve sustainable development;
Seekrng
to
strengthen and further develop bilateral cooperation
in the field
of
environmental protection and sustainable development;
Believing that their collaborative efforts will be beneficial for both Participants and will
rellect good bilateral relations;
lntend to coooerate in the areas of:

Item lll
This Memorandum does not create internalional legal obligations for the Participants and it
reflects the intention of both Participants to strengthen cooperation in the environmental
field.

This Memorandum will come into operation on the date of signature.
